Ed, who provided the estimate, was very prompt and professional. . However, I had to call and email Bodenheimer several times before they sent out an estimate; it took almost 2 weeks. Still, we chose Bodenheimer after weighing all of our proposals. We original set a date in January, but I had to cancel because of some changes to my work schedule. Dave, who schedules the appointments, told me to call back when we could reschedule. After some back and forth, we set a date. The week prior to the job, I called Dave to set inquire about changing the project plans. I wanted to install a sink in the garage, and wanted to see if they could adjust for that. I never heard back from Dave, so the sink was never installed. On the day of the project, the workers were prompt and professional. They were minimally invasive and completed the project in one (1) day. As far as the overall project, I was very happy with the end result, but there were several issues I found that I take partial blame for. First, the some of the polybutylene was left in the ceiling. While it was disconnected and drained as best as possible, the workers stated they couldn't pull it out without taking out more of the ceiling. I should have just had them take it all out (to avoid any mold issues, or leak), but I wasn't sure if we were going to demo the ceiling or just sheet rock over afterwards. The second issue I had was with how the new pipes were connected to the sinks and toilets. In stead of using the existing connections, the worked drilled new holes through the floor and cabinets. Again, I'm stuck with water hooks up in my wall and under cabinets that aren't connected to anything and need to be sealed. Their methods were probably the most cost effective and less invasive way to complete the project, but now I'm left with more stuff to figure out. I should have asked better questions, but I also feel Bodenheimer should have explained how they were going to run pipes to the fixtures and explained any complications that could have emerged (not being able to get all of the poly pipes out of the ceiling) during the project. Overall, I'm happy with how the project turned out. Their price was excellent, they were on-time and professional when I interacted with them face-to-face. However, their sustained lack of response to my phone calls, combined with my slight disappointment with the final installation (I take partial blame, which is why I gave them a B and not a C), I just can't give them an A overall.
