Description of Work: To my amazement, Two Men and a Truck were twice as expensive as Miracle Movers. They also didn't respond to my first message asking for an estimate. We did not use them.

Description of Work: I'd had a bad experience with this company years ago, but the reviews made me think things had changed. Wrong. I'd even contacted the manager who came for the estimate and assured me he would send his A team, as I was moving many antiques. | |Disaster. Four pieces were seriously damaged, many more scratched and lots of glassware breakage (and I pack like a pro)...at one point I walked in to find them dragging my living room rug in the mud. | |When I returned to my old house the next day, I was stunned. It took 3 SUV lads to get the items they left. | |The manager with whom I had previously spoken was very defensive of his team when I complained, and not even apologetic. | |I filed a claim and they sent their 'expert' furniture repair man. I do not consider nailing two pieces of trim into a 100 year old corner cabinet a repair...that's just a fix. The list goes on...and on. | |Two months later and I am still waiting for the return of a large glass print the repair man broke while fixing my furniture, and I have never received an acknowledgement on the vintage celluloid that was crushed. | |I'm very happy for the people who had an experience with these movers that was positive. I sure did not.
