They did a good job. They really did. He is a very good plumber.

I was remodeling my master bathroom. He moved the shower head higher and reworked the faucet. He also replaced the cast iron pipe for the toilet. In my regular bath they checked the tub to make sure it was draining properly. He did a lot of work for me, but those were the major services he provided.

They did a really good job. A reasonable turnaround time is one of the key things.

It never happened. Although I received a call from Angie's List asking how it went and telling me they would contact DB Plumbing I never heard from them. Since there is no phone number listed here for me to contact them I have lost the money I paid for services never performed.

They were great. Showed up on time, scheduled me in quickly, and reasonably priced. I absolutely use them in the future.

I was put off several times for the work to be done. When Scott finally said they were coming to replace the water heater, we drained the water heater. He sent workers who cut the pipes and cut them without shutting off the water at the road and the valve on the plumbing at the water heater was not working so there was water everywhere. His workers waited for him for 3 hours to show up. After Scott installed the new water heater and expansion tank, and left, I realized he took all my copper pipes and replaced it with plastic. I called him and complained and we worked out a deal to have him fix a faucet that was not running well in exchange for him taking my copper. To fix the water faucet took a whole day because he never stayed long enough to complete the job and left his workers there again. Then I had trouble with the water staying hot after he replaced the water heater. He was to come and look at it to see what the problem was but never came. I had to get another plumber to correct the problem.

Excellent. This cold winter took its toll on one of the faucets outside and it froze up and busted the pipe which ran along the kitchen wall. During one of the warm days I reconnected the hose so we could water some plants outside and forgot to remove it the night temp dropped down into the low 20s. I called Jo in the morning and a service technician responded within hours in the afternoon. The exterior anti-frost faucet was not supposed to burst, however, the pressure inside with the frozen water forced it back into the pipe towards the interior wall. This was not an easy repair because my house is on a slab and the 6" anti-frost pipe had been installed into the brick wall with mortar surrounding it. The pipe could only be accessed by removing the surrounding bricks or through the interior kitchen wall. I decided to go through the wall. A small precise cut into the drywall located the broken pipe allowing to be accessed and repair with minor damage to the wall. Although DB doesn't perform drywall repair the technician did replace the cut piece of drywall and caulked around it making the repair nominal. The service technician did an outstanding job in very carefully chiseling around the mortar that imbedded the anti-frost pipe without damaging any bricks or surrounding mortar, truly an art. He replaced the 6' anti-frost and instead of using mortar he used clear caulk to completely surround the pipe. It is virtually impossible to tell that the faucet was repaired other than the fact their is a new shiny faucet! I was able to fix the drywall cut with a little bit of plaster and paint! Clearly the leak would have caused major damage to my wall if it had not been repaired properly. DB did a great job and I would highly recommend them!

I called them a week and a half ago about a broken outdoor shower at my Holden Beach home. Jo, on the phone, assured me they would get to it in the next week because they are located in Leland (25 mins away) and were busy. I called after one week to see if they got to it and left a message. No response after a day. I have called twice since and left messages and received no response. I need my under-house shower fixed so I am calling someone else. They dropped the ball on me big time.

He was professional, had all the proper tools and completed the job within a hour and a half. Fixed the clog. I've used this vendor in the past and found him to be responsive and prompt and always gets the job done.

They were extremely prompt. Did exactly what we had asked & addressed an issue with our faucet that they could not repair.

With the right tools and experience, the repair took only 20 minutes but it was done correctly. Unfortunately, the plumbers arrived +1.5 hrs after our scheduled appointment because an earlier appointment took longer than estimated and delays due to heavy traffic. Despite the delayed start, I would still seek their service again because of the plumber's professionalism, knowledge and abilities.

I needed to drain the pvc piping for my irrigation system before the weather got too cold, but found that the gate valve on the irrigation line coming off the main water line would not shut off completely. I considered replacing the valve myself, but found that the main shut off valve for the house (another gate valve) also would not shut off. At that point, I decided that the job might be more than I could easily handle since it would involve replacing the gate valve (to the irrigation lines) with water still flowing through the pipes. I called db plumbing in the early afternoon, they answered immediately, and said that someone would be there by the end of the day. Indeed, someone did show up about 4PM, and completed the job in about 25 minutes ... It was actually a fairly straight-forward job, except for the fact that he had to do it with a steady flow of water passing through the pipes because of the main valve not being able to be closed completely. They did charge $125, for what I assume is the hourly rate, though the job was completed in under 30 minutes. Otherwise, no complaints. I have used them before, and have already used them again since this event ... I will provide a separate review on their more recent visit of 1/22/2014. In addition, I already plan on using them to replace the main gate valve (controlling flow into the entire house) which would not shut off, as I described earlier in this report

The company called me back right away after I left my initial request via voicemail. I explained my schedule situation and they were more than willing to come when it was convenient for me. They called the next day and said if possible, they could come earlier in the day, which worked perfectly for me. They arrived, kind and courteous. They assessed the problems, had the parts and were back out the door in less than 30 minutes. I was so impressed.

The company sent a very competent and courteous plumber who did a great job. We will use this firm again.

I was very happy with my service. They were professional, on time and explained what the issue was and corrected it. They were also very nice and a pleasure to work with. I will use them again.

Backflow test. Good service, not the cheapest, but punctual.

It worked out okay. He was a really nice guy. He checked everything out and did a great job.

They were good. The toilet is now running fine. It didn’t cost more than the special so I was happy with that one. They replaced some parts and tightened up some bolts. I was satisfied with the service. They were on time. He brought a buddy with him who I think was just riding along.

Minor repairs. Aeroters in faucets. High minimum charge of $115 for 20 minutes worth of work. When you need the service you pay too much!

This service was conducted in a very thoughtful manner. Attempts to clear the problem without removing the toilet were thorough. Eventually, however removal was required. The work was completed efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly.

When 8 pm on Fri came and I couldn't solve my toilet problem myself I got DB phone # from a friend who had used them for a weekend full plumbing explosion and they did a great job for a great price. I called and explained my situation and they got someone out within a HALF HOUR - and I was billed exactly what the quote over the phone was. I was surprised as after solving the blockage he also found and fixed my fill valve and expected a leap in the price. NOPE, just the cost of the part. He took the time to discuss the do's and don'ts of plumbing and did a quick and thorough job. he made sure it was fixed before leaving and was very professional. I have had horrible experiences with plumbers in the past and DB Plumbing changed my tune about them! I will use them for everything in the future and they fully deserve the A rating!

The plumber showed up on time, and was in and out with in a hour. The toilet still leaked but they came right back out and fixed the problem at no additional cost. Everyone I spoke with was double the amount for the same job. I am very happy with their customer service, prices and repair job!

Everything went very well. I called and was able to set up an appointment on a specific day and specific time (unlike another plumbing company that told me they typically "just show up" when they can on a specified day). Eric, the plumber, was on time and got right to work. He did a very good job and finished the job within an hour. He also answered my questions regarding plumbing and possible remodel. Overall, very happy with the service.
