All I can say is that this was the best experience I have ever had with a home improvement project. From the moment I met Mandy, I knew my project was in good hands and it got better and better as we went forward. John stopped by to check out the yard a couple days before the install and saw the French drain I was working on and offered to bring gravel on install day and fill it in for me while he had his equipment there. This was a huge help! John and his crew fixed grading issues, added compost and took great care to get everything just right. And they did it at a price that was not much different than the cost of supplies had I done all the back breaking work myself. But their caring went even beyond that: I had a leak in my water meter box and John jumped right in to try to figure out what was wrong. Way above and beyond the call of duty. These folks know their stuff and really care about their customers. They provide exceptional service and are downright good people. I can not recommend them more.

From the moment I sent out requests for estimates, NC Mulch was first to respond, first to respond to follow up questions, came out to do the estimate first and in the end, had the best pricing. The work was done exactly when planned (early February), over exactly the number of days planned (2 days), and the sod is beautiful (despite it still being dormant). They've given us advice on how to keep it alive until it warms up and what to do come springtime. Their service and product are absolutely top notch!
