He did do some work for me. Dealing with Joe initially was fine. He was very personable, but when the work was done and on the day it was completed, he had two workers that had done a lot of plantings for me and after they left I went to check it and I couldn't find a lot of plants because they had just thrown straw all over the place that were covering them and then I found at least 10 or 12 of them that was about 4 inches above the ground surface. He had to come back, he came back about 45 minutes later to pick up the piece of equipment that he had left and by that time my husband was home. I had explained to him what I had found and he more or less said they should be above a little bit and a couple of them he pushed down and in the end it was not good. I had several other plants just die and I called them about 5 months ago and when I spoke to them initially they said we guarantee our stuff for a year and then he asked me to call him back in a week to set something up so I called them back a week later and I had to leave him a message and I had probably called 10 times. I would just leave messages and he doesn't take my call anymore. I gave it up on getting him to answer the call and come back. He hadn't talked to me for so long and so when he got the first phone call may be he thought I was calling him to give more work (another job), but I said a lot of these plants have died and I've got water bills and that can prove that I've done quite a bit of the watering. He asked me to call him back which I think it should have been his job to call me back. I'm already calling him saying I need something up and they are guaranteed. He did agree on the phone that they were guaranteed for a year and then still not take my call. He sees my call on caller id and just lets me got to voicemail. I complained about his workers and the way they did things and then I said, if I were you I'd be embarrassed to have them under me representing me. He said, I'll speak with them. He's always like big talk upfront, but when it comes to follow thorough it's really not there. Overall I was impressed with him because he seemed to be quite knowledgeable and he was very personable. He had a way about him that seemed to make me feel comfortable, but then he just made excuses for his workers and also on the last phone call I had with him I did an estimate about how many of his plants had died and I think my husband said 80% of them and that was probably all he needed to know and then it was vein calling him back. He didn't want to replace them. The grass looks just fine and the sod in my whole backyard is fine. I did all my watering and it didn't appear to me that they amended the soil. When you normally dig a whole, you dig it one and half times and next you amend the soil, but that didn't happen. I didn't see any of that happening. Their price was good. The quality, on the planting was "F" and then a "C" for the rest of the things. I was pleased with the grass, but the planting was terrible, so overall, it would be "D". Initially, I was impressed with his professionalism, but the final professionalism was "F". I would not use them again in the future.

They were great. They worked with me on picking out the plants. They made recommendations buy let me have the final say, which I really appreciated. I was very happy with their work and would use them again.

Excellent work, attention to detail, trained eye for what will look good, and finished the job on time. I also felt they charged a fair price for the work. I have and would recommend City Green Landscaping (Joe Adams) to others.

Joe and his employees were very professional. Joe was very knowledgeable and helpful in giving us suggestions on the landscaping that needed to be done. The work was completed on time and looks great. I would not hesitate to hire City Green again.

City Green has taken care of my lawn for four years, providing first-rate service. They have been very responsive and willing to work to resolve the challenges that nature presents continually. Joe Adams and his crews are polite and respectful.
