Mike's Landscape and Lawn Care

Last summer, I saw a yard in my neighborhood that I really admired, and finally saw someone working on it. I talked to him and asked him for a business card which I kept all winter and gave him a call this spring. Mike came and I told him what it was I wanted, and he gave me a very reasonable quote. So we set up a time for him and his co-worker, Brent, to come and do the work. Mike and Brent came at the appointed time, and we decided what supplies they needed, and they went with me to Lowe's and Home Depot to get them. I asked if they could haul some lumber home for me and told them I would pay them extra to do that. They worked steadily and were very conscientious about everything they did. In no time, my flower beds were looking really GREAT. Because I don't have much experience in planting nice flower beds, I left it up to Mike and Brent to put the flowers where they thought they would look best, and they did not disappoint me. In two weeks, I am having them come back and do a bed out back, where they will plant my blueberries and some other plants. I am also going to have Mike come and do my mowing, edging and trimming every other week. When it came time for me to pay them, I told them I was not going to hold them to the quote I was given, because they did so much more than what we had originally talked about, but Mike said he would stick to the quote. I said "No, we won't" and paid him considerably more than what he wanted. They earned every penny of it, and the original quote was, I felt, ridiculously low for what they wound up doing. Mike and Brent are both very professional and reliable. It's very refreshing to see such good service, professionalism and integrity these days, and I look forward to a very long professional relationship with them.
