Neli Virtual Appliance Repair

Did not use this vendor. They are an on-line service that guide you through a repair. I needed an in-house serviceman. Called a local service (Statesboro Appliance Center). Called about 1:30pm. At 4:00 service man arrived at front door. Quickly he confirmed my thought that the problem was with the door switch, accessed and replaced the switch - the entire process took 30 minutes. Cost was $166 ($75 of which was for the service call.) 5 stars!

This is a virtual repair service. They promised to diagnose the problem and help me get any necessary parts. They will also walk you through the installation of the new part(s). I had my doubts, but it worked like a dream! My technician was very knowledgeable and patient. It was worth the small price of the appointment just so he could tell me that a connection he asked me to disconnect "would take some tugging, but it will come off". I was afraid I was going to break it, but did not! Problem diagnosed, the replacement part is on the way! I would definitely use this service again!

Hedid a test and determined it was the igniter ! Replaced it with a new one! Working great now ! Was a few days before thanksgiving was very happy he could come and fix it fast!

He figured out the problem - a bad thermostat - literally in 60 seconds. I learned that my fridge is actually able to run if I keep cycling the temp control until I get the new part shipped. Plus he was able to walk me through removing the cover & part so I had a head start on replacing the part when the new part arrives. I really liked Chris and would definitely do this again!

Angie's list is a joke. After entering my address several times I was still referred to a contractor several states away. Would never use again or recommend it.

Great! I paid Neli $35 for a 1 hour visual consultation and they were able to correctly diagnose the problem as a defective electronic control board. After some research online they determined that a replacement part was no longer available anywhere for the 8 year old machine. I told them that I wanted to repair it since I also had a matching blue front loading washer. He then gave me the name of a company that repairs electronic parts like that. I sent them the faulty control board which they repaired and returned to me approximately 10 days later. The cost of the repair was $150 plus shipping. The dryer is now working like new!

Technician was very helpful and patient as we looked over the machine. I was also emailed part numbers that I needed to order to do the repair myself. I would definitely use their services again.

Chris C was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional as he helped us determine why our new dishwasher wasn’t working, and the appliance was working perfectly again by the end of our call. We were able to get an appointment much sooner than a local technician would’ve been able to fit us in for an in person visit. Will definitely use this service in the future.

How do you virtually repair anything?

service tech never showed and I was pre charged for non service not able to get on their web site or yours this supposed to be in California not north Carolina so I dont know the company listed here but would like some help in getting refunded

His suggestions and steps were very helpful in getting the front panel off a dryer. We lost connection and could resume when he texted me a link. After we were done, he told me this was one of the harder dryers to work on when removing the front panel. that's why I needed help! Took over an hour because 1 or 2 holes did not line up and screws didn't go in easily otherwise things went well. You will need to download the video app they recommend. If you are good with cell phones and at tinkering and figuring things out I would definitely recommend the virtual repair and worth the $35 for 1 hour. But if you are not mechanically inclined and hate cell phones.....call the local repairman to come out.

Got to the issue quick and identified the problem and provided a quick walkthrough of the repair. It worked!

"Virtual repair" is a joke. I am looking for someone to repair my refrigerator, not send me messages on how to repair it myself.

Contacted me quickly. However, I HAD NOT REQUESTED THIS PROVIDER WHICH WAS A "VIRTUAL REPAIRER". That is, they would diagnose the problem from what I told them over the phone and then coach me through repairing it myself. I had/have no intention of doing my own repairs and told them so.
