Serpaco Painting

It went very well. They were professional, very prompt and friendly, particularity the owner (Nick).

We researched painting companies through Angie's list,internet resources and friends experiences sometime in May. We decided to get 2 estimates, one of them being from Serpaco . Patrick came to the house and we told him we were only interested in doing the rooms, stairwells and foyer with ceilings that were 20 feet high. We were planning on doing all the other interior painting, as we always had previously. We received what we considered to be a very fair estimate, especially considering the difficulty we would have had with doing the task. We decided not to do the work in May due to our schedules. In November we decided to go ahead and get back with Serpaco. We also decided to get estimates about adding painting of the kitchen. Patrick came back out to the house the next day and we discussed the earlier estimate and what cost of adding the kitchen. and painting all the trim, which we had thought we would paint ourselves. When we got the cost and time estimate for the additional work we decided to in go ahead and get it done. We felt that the frustration and the time required for us to do it ourselves would "cost" a lot more than we would be paying to get it done. Serpaco started the next day (Friday). They arrived exactly at the time they said they would and Patrick introduced the gentlemen that would be doing the work. They said hello and immediately laid drop cloths and started working. They worked diligently throughout the day and at the end of the day removed all of their tools, supplies, ladders and drop cloths. It was truly amazing how quiet, neat and "heads down" they were throughout the whole project. They were willing to continue on and work Saturday. We had other plans so decided to start back up on Monday at 9AM. At exactly 9AM Monday the doorbell ran they were there, ready to work. By the end of the day we had seen enough to know how quickly they worked, their professionalism, and quality of the work that when Patrick came by to see how things were going we discussed and then agreed to painting the bonus room in addition to all the other work. We were extremely pleased with everything that was done and how the team (lead by George) handled performing the work. Patrick was true to his word and estimates. Everyone showed up exactly on time and did an excellent job. The work area was well maintained thorough out the day and cleaned up every evening before leaving for the day. Everything was done in about 5 days, much more quickly then we expected but exactly when Patrick had committed. Serpaco also was more than willing to work around our schedule, allowing us to hod to some important meetings rather than having to reschedule. A VERY PLEASURABLE AND STRESS FREE EXPERIENCE. iF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT HAVING SOME PAINTING DONE GIVE SERPACO A CALL. They responded promply to my request for an extimate. Came at the set time. Gave me a book of reference to look at while they were preparing the extimate. Very profession and thorough.

Nick was very communicative regarding when he would arrive, when he could do the job, etc. The painting came out beautiful and the stencil was very well done- carefully planned so as not to get messed up when a corner was turned and it met up level after crossing a long wall. The main laborers, Hector and Fernando, were very polite and pleasant and hardworking. Nick was on site to manage and supervise an appropriate amount of time to make sure the job was done correctly. The labor went longer than anticipated but Nick honored the original quote, which I really appreciated. Overall a great experience- everyone involved was skilled, polite, friendly, and professional.

It went smoothly from start to finish. Once the estimate was given to us and the contract was signed, the painter was immediately in touch with us to set a date to begin. A power washing crew began and completed their work on the day promised. The crew did a thorough job and cleaned up after finishing. Once the house was allowed to dry, the minor repairs to the wood siding were done and painting began. The painters were very professional, conscientious, and stayed on the schedule initially established. When the job was completed, the company owner, Nick Serpa personally came and walked through the job with us to ensure that we were completely satisfied. We were impressed with everyone involved in this job and would use the company again. We recommend the company to others who want a qua;ity job done in a timely manner by a group of true professionals.

Chris and Nick were a pleasure to deal with. They are experts in the painting business. They anticipated what would need to be done to the exterior and interior so we were educated on what to expect and so the work went smoothly. They are very focused on customer satisfaction and worked hard to make sure we were happy with the result. The paint work was very high quality. Everything was done meticulously and with skill. The carpentry work looks great. The trim work and painting in the garage transformed it into an attractive space. They used high quality materials on the exterior of the house to protect the siding. Everyone we interacted with was very professional. We are very happy with the overall result of the work.

All painting was done professionally with high quality of paint. My wife broke the garage door opener when she tried to open the garage door while it was still painted shut. The owner personally visited the house and made sure the door was fixed. The quote was detailed and the price was among the lowest given.

On time and on budget. All work was completed on time and within the estimate. The workmanship of the painting was outstanding!

They are local only. They are fantastic painters. This is the hardest woring team of painters we have ever seen in this area. They showed up at 7 am and did not leave before 6 pm. Their master carpenter has the same work ethic. This company is extremely easy to work with and we had an overall great experience with them. They are the most expensive to go with, but you get what you pay for. We had no issues, great quality of work, and top notch service. We also probably paid an additonal $1,000.00 for this service. They were at our home for 7 days straight. They did not leave till the job was perfect. The master contractor walked around, with me, to find touch ups. He found spots that were pen-thin and in areas hardly visible that he had his team fix. They are perfectionist and very detail oriented.

I was very nervous before the work began since it was a brand new door and I didn't want the final stage of completing the door (the staining process) to ruin the final product. But Nick of Serpaco did an outstanding job. He was very professional in advising what combinations of stains to use to match the stain color of the kitchen cabinets. He was onsite to monitor the progress and ensure the job was completed to my satisfaction. I would definitely use Serpaco again!

I can't say enough about Serpaco's professionalism and attention to detail. They came out quickly to give an estimate and then closely timed their work with the gutter company as the gutter company removed gutters and did some fascia repair. Communication with Chris Gray and Nick Serpa was excellent. The crew came when scheduled to begin power washing and the prep work for painting. They scraped and scraped on some areas to make sure that the surface was ready to paint. The painting crew worked long hours and did an excellent job painting and they cleaned up their work area each day. They went beyond the call of duty many times. When they found more wood needed repair, the got an estimate on that quickly, got the materials and did the work. Nick even installed some new exterior light fixtures for us. When I asked them to save me a little paint so I could paint the mailbox post, I looked up and found that they had done it. These are people you want to work with.

I cannot give the company enough kudos. They were absolutely the best company I've dealt with in a long, long time. Chris came out and was very thorough in his estimate and took his time explaining everything that needed to be done. He even met us at Home Depot on a Satuday afternoon to advise us on some window replacements we were contemplating. We could not have asked for better, friendlier, hands on service. The painting crew was awesome. They were very prompt, friendly, and more than willing to go that extra mile when needed. The job they did was top notch, painting, siding reairs, and powerwashing were all done with great care. Even with that, Chris came back out for a personal inspection. His standards are higher than mine as he found small blemishes we hadn't even noticed. Those were promptly repaired even fixing a spot on a wall that we had dinged moving furniture. I highly recommend this company if you want total satisfaction and ease of mind that your project will be done to the highest professional standards.

Miscommunication was apparent from the initial meeting. The estimator, who's listed as a VP of the company, kept asking me what I wanted regarding the patches and paint. I'm no expert, I simply want it fixed so it doesn't look like a patch. He's the expert, whatever he suggests to make it not look like a patch. Yet he kept repeating the question. Seemed to have a hard time understanding our needs. After walking him through the house he spent an unusually long time measuring in great detail, and measuring broader areas than seemed required. We provided an email address for him to send the estimate. I had made it clear when I called that I needed the work done quickly. They assured me on the phone they could work us in. Yet at the end of this overly time consuming, somewhat frustrating estimation process, he implies that they're booked up through the summer. It should have been obvious to anyone looking at the state of our flood damaged home that we couldn't sit around for months waiting for it to get fixed. In any case, next day, rather than send an estimate via email as would be expected, I get a early morning call as I'm rushing out the door. Couldn't talk then, he still didn't send an estimate. Called again next day because it required explanation. The end result was an estimate that was almost double most other reputable estimates we had received. Needless to say, due to the price, lack of availability, and general difficulty communicating, we didn't go with them.

From the estimating process, Serpaco was very responsive and detailed in their process to ensure that we understood all the detailed content of their pricing proposal and the work to be performed. A written and detailed estimate was provided to include a statement of work for the proposed price, optional services (and pricing), clearly described the materials to be sued to perform the services (by product brand names), and a written warranty. Once we agreed and confirmed the work to be performed, a start date was planned within a couple of days. The crew showed up on time and work through the end of the business day (8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.), The entire project was completed within 3 days. The crew worked had and was careful to ensure that our property was not damaged and left clean each day when the work was finished. They left the work site as clean as before the project was started. We were very pleased with the finished product. The exterior of our home looked better than when new. Great job!!

Nick, the owner is very nice, personable and responsive. They are very clean when they work. They do a great job efficiently. WE have used them for previous jobs.

Bottom line is this. Nicks team, led by Marcielo, arrived on time each morning. The accommodated my schedule, were polite and did good work. Nick made our satisfaction a priority. He and his team went above and beyond to make us happy. I really can't endorse this company enough. If this company went public, I would buy stock in it. These guys not only went the extra mile, they went an extra million miles. I will be doing business with them again and recommending them to my friends and associates. A++++++

Serpaco (Brian) was very responsive. His team of 2, very hard working guys, showed up when they said they would, cleaned up every day, worked through 2 very hot days and finished when they said. I'd recommend Serpaco to anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable price.

They did a great job. We have referred them to our parents, and they did a job for them as well. I would definitely would use them again in the future.

They did a good job overall. When we came back, the garage door had been painted shut and we were not knowledgeable of it. They did not tell us and the garage door broke in half when we tried to open it. When we contacted them about it, they were responsiveness and no questions asked.

Their service was pretty good but their pricing was a little high.

The price was very reasonable along with the discount for being an Angie's List member. I was very pleased with the work of pressure washing which included the house and deck. Caulking was completed throughout and finally the paint was applied by hand not spray. Overall the work took 5 days. All materials were picked up nightly and at the end of the job I received all left over paint. The work was completed with a high degree of professionalism. The owner came out and inspected the work with me along with the foreman of the crew. I am very pleased with the work and several of my neighbors have commented favorably about the work.

Got estimate for interior painting. Contractor took very long time to note every item to be painted. Based on that I ball parked what I thought he'd quote. After an hour of estimating a 1400 sq foot 31 year old townhome, I received an estimate (no surprise) of 8k. Interior paint is to be pure white and it's nothing fancy. It put the $3500 bids into better perspective. They did call to to give me a better price, but I'd already run screaming into the arms of my other contractors. I was surprised that Angie's list reports did not mention how pricey they are. All one need do is look at the neighborhood. Nice houses and cars? Ok,double your price. But that's not where I live at this time in my life. I really joined Angie's hoping it would help. But now I'm thinking word of mouth is just better. Also, the fact that Angie's list makes reviewer's completely accessible is not really fair.

Overall an excellent job. In a service industry that generally does not give good service, Serpaco painting surpassed our expectations. They returned my phone calls (if not picked up directly) in a timely manner. They showed up when they said they would. They performed the work they said they would perform (to a high level). The crew was courteous and professional - always asking if things looked correct. Management was on sight daily to check progress. I would say the work completed for the price charged was an excelent value and I would definitely refer Serpaco Painting to anyone.

Chris Gray responded on a Saturday to my emailed request for an estimate and made an appointment to come over on the following Tuesday. He was prompt, courteous, and helpful. He did a great job of explaining Serpaco's processes and materials.
