Couldn't have gone better! Walt and his team were amazing, showed up on time, worked as quietly as possible, in fact at one point I didn't even know they were there nor did my dogs and that's a feat!! They worked quickly and dealt with a very muddy yard due to all the rain, even put in time on the weekend to get the project done and cleaned up every scrape that I would never know they were here. Walt was extremely professional, personable and a true Gentleman. He explained everything they were going to do and assured I was happy with everything they did. He went out of his way to make every last detail perfect!! I don't usually feel comfortable recommending a company but I will definitely recommend N C Exteriors for any home project and I will also tell them to ask for Walt to do the work if they want the job done right to the last detail. I can't say enough about Walt as I feel he sincerely enjoys his work and has pride in everything he does! I do hope N C Exteriors appreciate Walt and the time, energy and professionalism he puts into his work, as much as we the customers do. Thank you Mary O'Hara

I just received an estimate - nothing more. As it turned out, a contractor friend had some time off and worked on the project I had.

Everything done professionally

The team came out to do the roof first. They were very professional, showed up on time and cleaned up after the job was done. Another team came out to complete the deck next and finally the windows and doors. It was a multi-day project but the entire team was very proficient and professional. I was pleased with the work. I had a problem with the seal on one of the french doors and the foreman came back out to the home and addressed the issue. I am pleased with the work and have recommended them to my friends multiple times since the work was completed. Great job!!

Went well. Crews were timely and cleaned up daily. When additional issues arose, we were able to get quick estimates. I would certainly use the company again.

At first everything went well. But there were 2 major issues. First the company did not want to haul away the dirt that was dug to install the patio. Instead the took down my fence and dumped the dirt beside a creek that flow on my property. I had to contact them to tell them that was not legal and I would be fined by my HOA, not to mention violating NC laws concerning the riparian buffer that is needed for all waterways. they did come back to remove the dirt properly. Second issue was the patio itself. after a few months the patio showed signs that the foundation they build was settling. the pavers were not level anymore. I had to contact them 3 times in order for someone to finally come out to take a look at it. Once they finally looked at it they told me that they would not guarantee the work and that the best they could do would be to split the cost of repair with me. I was completely turnoff by the lack od responsiveness and the lack of them standing by their work. I would not recommend this contractor nor will I use them in the future.

It took two days to compleat the project and everyone was very professional. They even came by on Saturday morning to drop off another gallon of stain (because I asked for it) and moved my grill back up on the deck for me. I will be lookin to these guys for other projects in the future!

Met with Cody who discussed our needs and gave us a quote. Cody was prompt, knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant to deal with. Once the permit had been issued Sandy called with a start date and the guys were there on-time and ready to get working! They did an excellent job - we're very happy with the whole look of the deck and the construction of it. It was a great experience dealing with all the staff at N.C Exteriors and we will use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Started of well, very professional. After having some issues I contacted owner and he has since rectified them. My only advice to consumers with this and any other company is, make sure the project manager stays on top of workers and gives you a day by day update on your project. My overall rating is based on the fact that even after some work was not up to our standards, they made an effort to make sure we were satisfied in the end.

We could not have had a better experience! ?After returning to our home from several years of military service in another state, we found the posts and handrails of our front porch rotting and falling apart. ?The door/door frame leading out to our back deck was in the same, sad state! ?These features were not just an eyesore, but they were quickly becoming unsafe and unable to protect our home from the elements. ?We were eager to get these things fixed, and also had specific ideas about upgrades we wished to make to the existing materials. ? NC Exteriors was friendly and professional throughout the entire process of planning these repairs: ?One of their salesman contacted us initially to set up a time to meet, visited our home, and was fully prepared to show us samples. ?He calculated the cost of all materials and labor right in front of us, so there was no attempt to hide anything or tack on unnecessary charges. ?He also stated that it would be about a week or two before all materials came from the manufacturer and would be ready for installation. ?(Incidentally, no money was collected up front - we were only responsible for payment after all work was completed and we could attest to being fully satisfied.) ?Sure enough, about two weeks later, a project manager called to let us know everything was in, and that a contractor would be coming that week to begin the work. ? The day of the job, the workers showed up bright and early with all necessary materials, and worked steadily for the next day and a half to complete both the porch and the back door. ?They worked quickly but carefully for about 9 hours the first day, and about 4 hours the next day. ?There was no wasted time, and they were polite and kept noise and mess to a minimum. ?Everything was cleaned up before they left, and they hauled all old materials and debris off our property. The final step was providing payment: ?Again, the office was in touch and one of the salesman came to our home to check out the work that had been done and collect the check. ?The entire process was friendly, personal, and very prompt. ?Everyone we dealt with, from office staff to the contractors on the job, were helpful and professional. ?Calls were always returned quickly, questions always answered, and people showed up at just the time they said they would. ?Additionally, the completed work looks fantastic! You would never know that our front porch had to be completely replaced or that the back door frame was crumbling and barely keeping pests and bad weather out of the house! ?We are thrilled, and would not only recommend NC Exteriors to others, but absolutely plan to use them again!

This is a good company to work with. They were very patient as we dealt with the VA on our financing and were quick to help in any way they could. The owner is very serious about his reputation and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. The windows we received a quote for ended up not being available so they gave us an upgrade at no additional cost!

These are great folks to work with and I just wish I had contacted them first before wasting my money on the first contractor. They completely removed a deck that our previous contractor had walked away from and we now have a beautiful, safe deck. I can't say enough good things about these folks - Cody, Chris, and Sandy. Nothing was ever too insignificant or too much of a problem. If you want great service and a great deck, these are the folks to call.

Initial estimate was scheduled and completed within a week of when I first called. I thought the job may have been too small for them to tackle, but Cody assured me that was no problem. We discussed options and the complete work that needed to be done and I had an estimate that day. They crew was out the next week and did all the repairs in ~4 hours. They were prompt, cleaned up afterwards, and made sure I was happy with the results. I'd definitely use them again!

My husband designed our new deck, and we contracted NC Exteriors to build the deck. We were in a rushed time frame because we were getting married and wanted to have the reception in our back yard (on the deck). We had previously booked with another contractor but that fell thru, so we needed someone in a hurry. Our initial reaction to NC Exteriors was positive. Their friendly salesman promptly came out and was very eager and easy to work with. We showed our custom deck plans and noticed some hesitation due to the fact that our design wasn?t the usual ?cookie-cutter? deck design.My husband is a talented deck designer and we wanted something more creative. So, the salesman assured us that there would be no problem adhering to our design plan. He then turned the project over to their contract supervisor who would be overseeing the project. That supervisor was easy to work with, but again was hesitant to do anything other than the usual rectangular box that most deck companies offer. He hired inexpensive labor that proved to be unreliable. (not even showing to work one day). The supervisor came only when we called with a question. (Not really overseeing the construction like we thought). During the period that the labor contractors were working on our deck, our lawn mover went missing. We can?t prove that they stole it, but it did seem too coincidental. None-the-less, the deck was completed on time and we are satisfied with the finished project. Our main complaint is with the owner; Jason. He proved to be very dishonest with us and showed a lack of integrity. He disrespected us with not returning phone calls and/or emails. My husband called and emailed him repeatedly with no response from him. Being ignored like that is completely unacceptable and disrespectable. He made it apparent that his policy is all about making money quickly and as cheaply as possible for him. Due to this company?s owner; Jason, we will never do business with this company again, nor we will recommend NC Exteriors to anyone.

Very pleased-I did three bids, three contractors and chose NC Exteriors. Cody provided the estimate which was accurate. I added gutters at the end of the project which I had overlooked and the cost was spot on with two other estimates for this additional work. Chris organized the efforts and his wife Sandy ran the crew; everyone worked well together and made sure that the construction schedule worked around the fact that the deck was the main access to the enclosed back yard...I was never without the access for more than 12 hours...and I appreciated the efforts as we have four large dogs to accommodate.project began in January and extended a little beyond as we had snow and very cold weather with this tough winter but they came and got the job done.

The entire work was performed with extreme care and precision. ?It was so well done that my home now can withstand winds up to hurricane force without any damage. ?? Management insured that all work was done according to the specifications provided by my insurance company. If I ever need any home improvements, I will call North Carolina Exteriors. ?They are outstanding in all respects of the work performed.

Did a great job of removing the old deck and building he new deck.

Overall, we love it. We're very, very happy with it and we use it all the time. They worked really hard to get it done. We had a deadline. We had about 40 people coming over and the weather was going to be raining, and we really wanted it done in time. We kept calling them and they said they did knew our deadline, but the week before, they came. They had to stay until way in the night to finish it in time. They did a really good job. We had hired them a month before our deadline, so we thought they could have come earlier than to wait for the last minute. We were pleased with it, but they made it hard on themselves. We like them and they worked really hard to get it done. We're really happy with the job they did.

I recently had North Carolina Exteriors replace my roof, the siding on my home, my driveway, a few windows and I couldn't be happier with the team at NC Exteriors. From the first meeting with Cody Davis the process was extremely smooth. They were very diligent on staying on track with the time schedule and were very good about following up with any questions I had along the way. The project manager Chris was constantly coming by the home to make sure everything was running smoothly and keeping me up to speed on the progress. I would definitely recommend NC Exteriors to anyone that looking to have work done on their home.

We had NC Exteriors come in and make the entire exterior of our 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch style house brand new! They were in and out in 4 1/2 weeks and completed the long list above. Project manager was easy to get a hold of and very knowledgeable to assist with all questions/follow up. They kept me informed of the timeline and stuck to it! From the quote to the finished product, NC Exteriors were on point and got the job done. I got 3 quotes and they were the lowest. That along with being personable and easy to get a hold of, gave them the job and they came through for sure. The detail work in the siding & screened in porch show, and we love the finished product. I would highly recommend NC Exteriors for anyone's next project.

Overall I think this vendor would have done a good job but based on the scope of what I originally wanted, they didn't think it was a good fit b/c of cost & what I was budgeting. After discussing it w/ my wife I wrote back & proposed a patio (4/15/14) but never rec'd a response. A phone call didn't work either. I sent another note on 9/23/14 requesting a refund to which they responded. It was at that point they recommended contacting you to get the refund.

Just prior to installation there was a bit of confusion, because we were not fully aware of their processes. However, Mark and Jason immediately stepped in to provide excellent customer service. Mark worked diligently to assess our needs and develop an action plan that fit our situation. Jason worked with the installation crew to get us installed quickly and professionally. North Carolina Exteriors is clearly dedicated to their customers. They obviously cared about our needs and less about what is standard operating procedure. Every customer has different needs and situations. They demonstrated that they can and will rise to the challenge of meeting the needs of every customer individually. We appreciate their dedication to customer service, quality product and professionalism.

I recently had my home sided by North Carolina Exteriors, Cody Davis was the individual that I worked with, he was very professional and informative on the different siding options available. The workers were professional and courteous, the job site was kept clean and was was extremely satisfied with the company, the people and the finished product. I would highly recommend North Carolina Exteriors!
