My wife and I tried to schedule the appointment. They called 2 different times to cancel and then when he was supposed to come out, he never showed up.

It went great. I added things to the list since he felt he could do more and he did. He ran errand to pick up items that we needed and did a great job getting to lots of little things that I needed. he was there for a full 8 hours and I would definitely have him return again to do handyman work for me.

It took longer than I would have expected to get the work scheduled. The man who came out didn't have all the tools he needed to complete the job properly. Also, he did not bring anything to clean up after the job was done. Since he didn't have the tool to put the carpet back down, he just left it and stomped around the edges. Later that evening my wife and were trying to get the carpet down a little better and found a 6 inch spike left under the carpet as well as other debris from the job. We also noticed cut marks on my deck from his saw. We called Leon and he said someone would be out the next day to fix the carpet. The next day a different man came out. He made everything right with the carpet and did a good job. However we later received a call from Leon wanting to know where he could send the invoice. I was shocked that I was being asked to pay for the second trip out when the job wasn't done right the first time. In the end he said he would not invoice us.

Leon asked for an appointment day and time to come. I gave him one, he did not show up. I reached out to Angies List and they had the service provider contact me. He said he would give me 40 hours of labor for the deal. A month later he contacted me to let me know he was going to charge me a total of 15 hours for travel time. This meant I would only receive 25 hours of labor. This is not acceptable. I have requested a refund.

Leon Home Repairs answered my phone call for roof repair and roof vent screening immediately. The forecast was for heavy rain beginning in two days and I was concerned the two small leaks I had found in my ceilings would only get worse. Chris Leon (owner) had a crew show up the next day. My house is 15 years old and Chris's crew discovered the caulking around the roof vents had dried out. He replaced all 6 roof exhaust pipes and installed them with new caulking. His crew also replaced the screening of our attic vents. During the repair of the roof leak over the master bathroom Chris's crew found out part of the problem was a small drip leak in the overhead guest room toilet pipe which was slow dripping into the area above the master bath ceiling causing a wet spot to appear. His workmen made my repair job a priority and in three days had replaced the upstairs toilet andPVC pipe, taken out the old, wet insulation and replaced it with new, replaced the 4x4 foot cutout they had made in the master bathroom ceiling and then painted it and the crown molding so that it looked new. There was a workman on the premises for the better part of four-five days. Leon Home Repairs and Chris Leon in particular are very good at what they do. His workmen were on-time and polite. All were proficient in the tasks they were assigned. We highly recommend this company.

Chris and his workers did a good job on all the work required. My home is 90 years old so there where some complications they had to over come. In the half bath they had to finish installing sheet rock, mud, paint, etc.. They had to do electrical, plumbing, install fixtures, install marble floor. The doors were not prehung so they had to install them. The finished product looks amazing. In the upstairs bedroom they had to completely remove all old, old sheet rock, replace, mud, paint, add outlets, repair some water damage in a closet, install fan w/light. I could not give Chris an A for punctuality as a couple of times he failed to call and cancel a meeting. This was minor problem as Chris and his crew are scheduled to remove all the vinyl siding and metal trim from my home, do some repairs and paint my home. We will continue to use Chris for our remodel or handyman needs.

The job took an entire day to complete by 2 men. Once completed, the new door, frame, hardwood flooring, and storm door look EXCELLENT. You can't even tell that the newly installed door frame is not part of the original house construction. I don't see any flaws at all in the work completed, and would definitely recommend Leon Home Construction to home owners with handymen needs. The job itself cost $750 in labor, and I purchased the materials (1 metal door, 1 storm door, hardwood flooring bundle, door knob, and paint) on my own for an additional cost of ~$600, so it was a $1,350 job. The only issue in working with them is that when you try to contact and coordinate a schedule, you usually have to leave a message and then they'll get back to you that night. That's understandable considering that they're busy during the day. You just need to be aware of that up front, but it really wasn't that big of a deal to me once I figured out that is their M.O. Also, the work was scheduled to begin at 8:30 AM but the crew didn't arrive until 9:30 AM. This really didn't matter to me, as I knew I was going to be stuck at the house all day anyway.

A rep came out for the job, but when he realized that I needed some blinds cut he told me that he wasn't able to take care of it. Nevertheless he reached out to his company and made an effort to find someone who would. I really didn't have anything else for him to do that would justify the 2hrs.

I had an appointment set up for a price quote for shed installation service. Someone was supposed to come at 9 am but never showed up. I never received a follow up phone call as to why no one showed up or a phone call indicating a change in my appointment status.

They did a great job. Prompt. Professional. Property equipped for the job.

Everything went as I would expect for a service person with great skills.

I didnt use the deal because the provider wasnt able to perform the job I needed, however my interaction with the provider was excellent!

Did a nice job, no problems. Even painted to match.

The provider came on site on time, evaluated the problem quickly, left one workman on site to prepare the window, went to the store to buy the replacement parts, installed them, painted them with the matching paint (which I provided) and finished in 2 hrs. The job was done very very well. I would recommend Leon to others and will hire them again in the Fall.

Ismael and his partner arrived on time and were very professional and friendly. There was some difficulty installing the yard statue as it did not properly align with the previously made platform but they persevered and made it work. It was a pleasure to have these guys work around my place; they were courteous and seemed not to be "all about the money" but more about making sure the job was done properly and leaving a satisfied customer.

I decided to complete a home renovation project. I contacted multiple sub-contractors based upon their particular speciality to start the interviewing and bidding process. Decided to ask Leon Home Repairs to provide small handyman services based upon the reviews given in Angie's List. However during the interview, I learned Leon Home Repairs offered much more than handyman services. I gave the owner of Leon's a larger set of renovation requirements and asked him to submit a bid. The owner submitted a timely and competitive bid with my documented requirements and won a large portion of the overall work. I conducted followup meetings with the owner of Leon's to give him an understanding of the scope of work of the other subcontractors I decided to hire. The owner of Leon's expressed his dependencies and I leveraged his general contracting skill-set to start scheduling all sub-contractors. Whenever it was time for Leon's team to start their particular milestone, the owner would contact me the week prior and schedule the number of men accordingly to the start the work the following week. He also gave an estimate of the amount of time it would take to complete the work-effort. Each visit, Leon's team would arrive on-time to the site, ready to work. Leon's brother/business partner in the company would lead the team from that point by obtaining additional required clarifications to ensure the design met my specifications. He'd take me through a complete walk-through of his plans to complete the work and we'd make any necessary tweaks to ensure consistency. The team was very timely, clean and QUIET on the job. They'd demolish and clean the work area quickly and resume the required work accordingly. In the end, Leon's brother/business partner and I collaborated to finalize a checklist of the remaining work and he meticulously completed every item/requirement. He was quite helpful with ensuring all of the work completed to my satisfaction and the overall craftsmanship is unbelievably immaculate. I had no idea these guys were so skilled at their craft. I'm convinced home renovation/remodeling is their forte. My master bathroom is a brilliant masterpiece even down to the access door to my jacuzzi tub designed and developed to compliment my coffered ceiling (courtesy of Leon's brother/partner in the business). I've received several high praises from various colleagues about the work and they've started reaching out to Leon's for their home repair/remodeling projects. All went well with the repairs. I did see that my gutter guards were significantly bent in the areas where the repairman climbed onto the roof. That should not have happened if the repairman was familiar with the "no step" nature of gutter guards. I am also still waiting to receive a statement of repairs with amount paid.

They were punctual and courteous. They got right to work.They were able to do most of the jobs on my list in the 4 hour time span. One job was not done correctly and needed to be redone but overall, I was satisfied with how much they accomplished and the quality of work.

Leon was courteous and professional. I got a second opinion and they fixed within an hour. They did not have to pull up the floor.

We were able to schedule an estimate for about 10 days after I first contacted the company. On the day of the estimate, the staff person was 90 minutes late. I called several times to ask if he was still coming, and finally he phoned and let me know that he was running late. After viewing the work that needed to be done, he said that he would take the info back to Chris Leon, and that I would receive an estimate that day or the next (July 10 or 11). I followed up by email and phone on July 12. It is now July 16 and I have not received any response. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other reviewers who noted this company's lack of responsiveness and professionalism.

The restoration was completed within the time limit of the special offer by two men. The completion was satisfactory. Due to a rush to finish before a house showing it was not possible to review the cost of materials which seemed somewhat high to me but was acceptable.

I will need a refund because we’ve not been able to schedule. I’m sure they’re professional enough, and it’s no fault of theirs. The timing just didn’t work out.

I purchased the deal of the day for 5 hours of wood rot work for $149.00, which I thought would be a good deal. Because of the response Leon's Home Repair had received they could not perform the work until May 23rd. After cancelling the first appointment it took a couple or weeks to finally agree to a time and Leon showed up slightly later than expected on the June 12. My main concern was the rotting trim as the base of the garage doors and I was pleased with work that was completed on that project. Since that work didn't take but a little over an hour, they did look at some other areas of concern that I pointed out but the work on the window time was less than what I expected. In fact I got out the ladder the next day and caulked around the trim on the one window and touched up the painting. I will think hard about purchasing another deal of the day.
