Description of Work: Everything went as Mike said it would go. The provider showed up replaced the broken spring (along with the other as he suggested replacing them in pairs) and hardware, double checked the operation of the door and lubricated all moving parts.

 + -1 moreOutstanding. Emailed on a Tuesday, received a quote by phone within an hour. They sized the job that afternoon and installed the door on Thursday. Professional service people. Excellent quality installation job. (Note: I almost bought this same door through another company for $8 less including installation. That process was going to take 3 weeks! It 3 days just to get the contractor out to measure. When he did not show up after 3 hours, I cancelled the entire order. Garage Door Specialist was so much better it's unbelievable.)
Description of Work: Installed a new 18 x 7 steel door, basic single layer, Amarr Stratford 1000. Removed and disposed of 22-year-old sagging 18 x 7 wooden door and old track. Removed old broken torsion spring and other misc hardware. Reconnected "old" opener (2 year old unit).

 + -1 moreBoth times we called they sent someone out the next day to give an estimate. When I backed my car into the garage door I couldn't get it open and I was stuck in there and they helped me open it to get out. They brought the new door and installed it and put a weather stripping around it.
Description of Work: We used this company twice, once to replace the springs and pulleys and then to replace the entire door.

Description of Work: My tension spring snapped on a Tuesday night - I called Garage Door Specialist on Wednesday morning - they set up a time to come over, arrived EARLY (after calling and making sure it was OK to come early), completed the job in under 20 minutes, and did it for exactly what I had been quoted. They replaced my existing single spring with a dual spring system.
