Fusion did an excellent job. The first contractor who started our rebuild put the wrong siding on and then abandoned the job rather than fix it. Jason gave us a resonable price to complete the job. He and his dad worked hard to get every detail right as we had specified it at the beginning. He provided upfront pricing we understood and stuck to it. The quality and service was very good. All our expectations were met. They were able to understand what we wanted and delivered beyond our expectations. The home is beautiful.
Description of Work: Finished my home. After the first builder abandoned my home after putting on wrong siding, Jason and his dad rescued our project

The tornado hit our house in April. Mr. Oates started the demolition in July. The construction didn't begin until the fall, and he thought we would be in the house by Christmas. Then it would be January.....we finally moved in early March. I'm sure Mr Oates would say the delay was our fault if you asked him. We assumed that he would be proactive and push the project forward. Instead, we had to push him to get the work done. He seemed to work faster near the end of the month when he needed money.
Description of Work: We used this contractor on the advice of a friend. Our home had been damaged by the April 2011 tornado. Unfortunately the work completed was not up to our expectations. This company subcontracts almost all of the work, and doesn't supervise the subs adequately. Starting with a problem with the framing, and continuing with details in almost every part of the job, it took a long time to resolve mistakes. The contractor was not at the work site for days or weeks at a time. Work was very slow, and small details, such as crooked doorhandles and incorrectly hung doors were never fixed. We finally just got tired of trying to explain correct way to complete repairs and did them ourselves. At a profit margin of 25%, they made a lot of money on this job, and we expected better.

He did a quote for the bathroom and I asked him for the quote and he never gave it to me. Finally, he came after four weeks and asked if I still wanted the quote. I have been calling him and e-mailing him and he's says that he will get it to me and he never gets through to me. Meanwhile, the bathroom is completed as I got somebody else to do it. It all started when he said he would get back to me in a week and it was past two weeks, he hadn't got back to me. When I asked him he said he would get back to me next week, he never did and I tried to get back to him and didn't reply. I would not use him in the future.
Description of Work: I had to get a quote from Fusion Contractors LLC for bathroom in April. He never came back to me with a quote.

Tommy uses subcontractors that he has worked with on multiple projects, therefore we did not have any concerns when Tommy asked if he could leave a lockbox on our door. We never had any concerns with the integrity of his team. Tommy was always eager to work with any ideas we had and to offer suggestions to help us out. We wanted to use our own painter for the project and Tommy was eager to meet him. We wanted to reuse the toilet and a door in the future master bathroom and Tommy was happy to reuse these items. Also, we chose to buy our bathroom fixtures online because it was cheaper and Tommy was happy to have his plumber just install those items for us. One of my primary reasons of going with Tommy was that I had interviewed multiple contractors who refused to get the proper permitting for my project. Tommy did not hesitate to comply. He even suggested that I have the electrician hard-wire in smoke detectors while he was here ? at no additional charge. Likewise, he suggested that when the garbage dumpster was here to take advantage of it and dispose of any large items that I needed to and that when his drywall subs were here to point out any places that needed patching throughout the house. Tommy suggested an even payment plan ? not just half up front and half at the end. He even suggested a retainer be held until all the punchlist items were complete. The majority of his team always seemed to be willing to go the extra mile. During demolition, an item on a shelf in an adjoining room fell and broke so his demo subs actually went and took down all the breakable items in the other rooms. Also during demolition, a piece of wood accidentally fell in the toilet hole before it was capped off. We had plumbing problems and Tommy?s plumber came out the next day to figure it out and eventually get the wood out. Our project took a little bit longer than expected since it was around the holidays. It also cost more than we originally expected since we did not define high price items like granite counters, semi-frameless shower door and the tub surround. The only surprise really was the flue work-around. We had a furnace flue pass through the future bathroom and we had to back it up into the wall by cutting into the floor joist and reinforcing the joist from the room below. Overall, we had a great experience with Fusion. I recommend that you check the progress of the project and the quality of the work for yourself each day. If any concerns come up during the project, it is important that you address them with Tommy immediately, and he will work with you to resolve your issues. Also, do your best to plan for everything ahead of time. There were times when some of our decisions hadn?t been made far enough in advance, and then we had to waiting for the item to be custom made or shipped.
Description of Work: Tommy’s team demolished the master bathroom and a closet, relocated the doorway between the bedroom and hallway, redesigned a better master bathroom and closet. All plumbing and electrical had to be reconfigured, as well as HVAC ductwork. A double vanity with granite counter, hot soak tub with a surround matching the vanity and a semi-frameless shower door were installed. The shower, floor and tub surround were all tiled. Five can lights and 2 vanity lights were installed for the project. Two can lights were added to the master bedroom. Crown molding was installed in the master bath and bedroom. A pocket door was installed and the bathroom ceiling was scraped and finished flat.
