Express Yourself Repairs

This was our second time using EYP, based on the very positive experience we had when they did interior painting for us they where our first call for estimates and planning for doing the exterior of our house. Everyone on the EYP team just get it, all very professional, they show up on time and they execute to the highest level of standard. Brent, Allison and the guys on our painting crew set a high expectation, through the attention. to detail that our crew clearly demonstrated they far exceeded that expectation.

Don offered us a great estimate with the best paint quality and he listened and catered all our needs. Communication was clear, often and excellent from start to finish. Then Lopez Brothers took over to paint the house as if it was their own.Octavio did an excellent and meticulous job throughout the house and the porch. I highly recommend them due to their attention to slightest detail, very careful job to remove everything and prepare the house for painting. Don and Octavio always answered my questions and even when I added extra projects they took care of it.

Brent gave me an estimate I could afford and his crew started the next day! Laura and the rest of the painters took the time to mask everything out to remove the pop corn ceilings first. Then they painted the entire interior of my house! They cleaned up afterward and touched up anything I noticed needed touching up! It only took three days to do the entire job! They did not play around! Excellent price and high quality work! I plan to refer Express Yourself Paint to everyone I know!

From start to finish, the staff at EYP was attentive and personable. Communication was clear and frequent, and the quality of the painting is exceptional. Pedro and his team tackled 13 rooms plus stair rail, cabinets in the kitchen and powder room. We can't stop raving about the job that was done. I highly recommend EYP!

Everything from scheduling to the finished project was excellent! All the staff was professional, communicated well throughout the process and the work itself took the house we bought and made it feel like a home! The workers in the field were very professional and attentive to quality.

Although the painters were very nice I found many drips on woodwork and handles. Also, after they left I noticed my electric panel had been tripped and found my hall light severed at the ceiling connection. They must have hit it with their ladder cause it was hanging by the wires with only wire nuts holding it.

EYP has some talented workers. They did a very good job at the edging between the walls and the ceiling. Some of the imperfections in the wall were fixed but I was told there were too many to fix them all. I was told during the estimate that they would all be fixed. I would rather them have taken another day then to leave the imperfections. There were also paint droppings on our floors, countertops, light fixtures, bathtub, and shower. In our contract, we agreed for one coat of paint on the ceiling, it looks good everywhere besides around lights on the ceiling. I was told that it was just how the roller applied the paint to the ceiling but that just seems like an excuse for laziness. Wouldn t it take a couple minutes to just go around the lights with a brush to fix it? Now I have to be the one to do it myself when that s what I hired them for. Overall, the paint job is fine but for the expectation that I was given during the estimate, it does not match.

After contacting EYP, a friendly representative came to our home to estimate/quantify the painting job within days, gave us valuable info and advice, send a fair estimate. Also EYP was very responsive to our demands and changes. Then, The job was done quickly, within the timeframe estimated. More importantly, the job was done with great care of our home and furniture, and the result is stunning. I highly recommend EYP to everybody.

Work was top notch.. They can be called back for touch ups etc.

We needed our ceiling painted in a short timeframe. They were the most affordable option and able to get the job done quickly. We had a large drywall repair we did ourselves from our upstairs shower leaking. They smoothed it out and also fixed several seams. The paint job looks great, and you cannot tell there was ever a hole in the ceiling!

I took four bids for the work, and EYP was the tied for lowest bid. I liked the salesman, and I liked the process that they outlined. I asked for references, and called two of them. Both references gave very good reviews. I decided to go with them. They arrived on time and executed the project exactly as they said that they would. They were very friendly and professional during the entire process.

Professionals !!

The sub-contractors were excellent and very professional, however the office staff and sales people do not seem to know what the other person is doing... very poor company to do business with in my opinion.

1. All (putty) sanding was not leveled, there's bumps on the walls 2. There was only one piece of framing around the kitchen window installed, should have been 4 and the work around the newly installed window is sloppy. I should have followed my gut and waited until after the painting. When the sill was cut off, yep my window was slightly damaged. 3. A three man crew probably would have been better for the work involved, but I understand cost. -The walls/ceilings were in bad shape so the newness of fresh paint is appreciated.

Price was the lowest of the three estimates we obtained. Crew was on time and professional. Very pleased with the finished results.

Loved my sales person, John. He was great. Really enjoyed working with him. Unfortunately, the crew that did the work did not take pride in their work, and I was disappointed in a lot of it. However, wonderful Tony (huge kudos) came by and made everything right. He truly treats his job as an art form.

I hired Express yourself painting to do our exterior railings at our commercial building.There are a lot of spindles involved in this railing and each one was sanded, primed and painted and made to look like new. The workers were so careful about drips and overspray there was none.

The painters Darwin and Luis worked diligently and kept me engaged throughout the process make sure at various steps that what they had completed met my expectation. Great job guys.

We were very happy with the wall and cabinet painting that was completed! Everything turned out great and was exactly what we wanted! They even came back out twice for some quick touch ups and fixes on things that we noticed after our final walk-through.
