Cary Granite came recommended by another highly-rated contractor, and they lived up to the recommendation. Joe, Jill and the installation team were all wonderful from start to finish. They are clearly committed to customer satisfaction and a top-quality service. We will definitely use them again for future countertop needs.

They came out right away after we called to get a free estimate. The price was a few hundred lower than another local granite shop and approximately the same as a company located outside of Greensboro. We chose Cary Granite due to price and the ability to go to their site and choose our remnant pieces without a really long drive, and my husband liked the company representative. They walked us through the process and were very patient during the remnant selection process (on a cold Monday morning). The tops were installed approximately 10 days later. The installers were very professional and quick. The vanity tops look fantastic.

Outstanding experience all around. Great selection of granite at their shop. Very helpful in making our selections and offered great advice. We decided to reschedule because of the holidays and that was not a problem with them. They arranged to have a plumber come on the day of the installation to install new faucets. Will definitely use them in the future for any counter top work.

I am truly impressed with this company! Everything was professional and streamlined from the first meeting with Joe to the installation. My kitchen looks amazing! Joe also recommended a plumber and tile installer ( for the back splash) that were equally professional and did great work.

We recently bought a house and absolutely hated the granite pattern that was in the kitchen. So we opted to have the granite replaced with a granite pattern of our choosing. After deciding to use Cary Granite, we went to a couple of places to look at the different granite. Then we went to Cary Granite's yard and found the exact granite we wanted. It was super easy, we should have went to their yard to start with. Our salesman, Jimmy, was such a pleasure to work with. He offered to go with us to some other granite places if we didn't find what we wanted in stock at Cary Granite. On the day of the install, the installers arrived early which was fine by us. The granite fit perfectly (thanks to a superb template done by Jimmy) and looks wonderful! We had wanted to keep our existing kitchen sink since it looked fairly new, but Jimmy said it would be easier to make the template if we got a new sink, so he supplied us with a new sink free of charge! If we kept our existing sink he would have had to remove it in order to create the template, which means we would have been without a sink for a few days. We actually like the new sink better than the old one! We love our new granite and had a great experience working with Jimmy from Cary Granite!

Cary Granite was outstanding to work with. Jill and Joe run a tight ship. They walked us through the process, showed up the granite slabs, provided a quote very quickly and we were installed two weeks later. The installers were courteous, clean and prompt. Price was great and the counters look outstanding!

Joe Murphy and his crew did a terrific job installing our new kitchen countertops and sink. Joe clearly outlined the scope of the job and his cost estimates were on par with three other area granite installation companies. What sets Cary Granite apart from the competition is his personable nature, the professionalism of his crew and their attention to detail. The seams joining pieces of granite together are virtually invisible. The installation was quick and clean. There was practically no dust experienced when they made several cuts onsite. Our counters are beautiful.

Joe's price was easily the best and we got quotes from several companies including the Home depot. He was on time and professional every step of the way. We love the look of our new counter tops. Angie's list members get a free lazy susan made from your counter top material. The lazy susan was very helpful when we went shopping for backsplash tile. It allowed us to see first hand how the counter tops would go with the tile using more than just a small piece of counter top material. It was very helpful. The price above included everything: the sink, faucet, installation, and tax. We are very happy with Joe's performance . Plus he recommended a tile guy who did excellent work at a reasonable price,

Joe and Jill were excellent to work with, very professional and flexible in meeting what we wanted. We were looking for a specific style of granite color / look and after many weeks of hunting we found what we wanted at Cary Granite. Not only did we find what we wanted here we also got the best price after comparing other providers in this area for something similar. Joe is a geologist by trade so he took the time to explain what we were looking at and made us feel comfortable that we were making the right decision. I do have to add this ( I think this has been mentioned here before but probably worth mentioning again) - Joe doesn't take any advance payment for his services and only expects you to pay if you are happy with the outcome. I have never heard of a provider do that before!!! His crew was very courteous, professional and took extreme care of the floor and the cabinets (in fact they fixed some of my sliders in the cabinetry that were already broken). When I negotiated the price initially, it was based on my estimate of what the sqft would be. When I realized I had forgotten to add the backsplash portion to my original estimate, Joe said he would take a look at that during the measurement phase. I received the final invoice and noticed that Joe didn't add anything to the original estimate. When I mentioned the backsplash adder he seemingly forgot to add, his response was - 'I am comfortable with your original estimate, it was close enough. I am happy, you don't need to pay more" - AMAZING !!! Joe and Jill, We love our countertop and have already referred you to my friends and neighbors. It was a pleasure doing business with you and needless to say you will be the ONLY one we will reach out to in future !!!

Joe and Jill were wonderful to work with from start to finish in choosing and installing our granite countertops and were always easy to contact. My questions were answered in detail and the estimate was right on. Joe welcomed us to get additional estimates. We did so and found that their company offered the best deal along with offering a better quality granite than the "big box" stores. The installation was a bit more complicated than was expected but their workers handled the obstacles with perfect professionalism. In addition, the plumber that they recommended (Fred Duetsch), was prompt, had reasonable rates and did a great job. Joe was excellent to work with. His prices are great and he has an excellent selection of granite. The finishwork was beautiful. Really the kitchen has been completely transformed by the granite. He is also very responsive to both email and phone, which really helped me when I had questions. Joe came in one day, took all the measurements, he needed to come back to make a template since we had an odd shaped counter. We scheduled the install. They came in and installed the counters with no fuss. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves and Joe put me in touch with Fred at Always Plumbing to install the new sink (which was also an excellent experience). I definitely recommend working with Joe

This is the 3rd time that I have used Cary Granite. The first time they installed granite in my kitchen. The second time they installed it in my master bathroom and this last time they installed it in my guest bathroom. I have one more bathroom to do and I will definitely call on Cary Granite. They did a great job and they were so nice. They helped me select just the right granite and I couldn't believe how fast they got the job done! The workers were very professional and they did a great job of cleaning up when they were finished. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I look forward to working with them again.

Joe was great. I was in California and we needed the kitchen counters redone here in Wake Forest. We did everything over the phone & email. He was patient answering all my questions and did the job in the time frame needed.

Joe Murphy came out and gave an estimate which was very reasonable. His crew arrived on time and completed the work quickly and efficiently and cleaned up beautifully. Both Joe and his crew were delightful to work with and I would recommend them to anyone needing granite work done.

The process went very well. Joe came over and measured and sent me a quote for the job. I went out to the showroom and Joe's wife helped me select the granite. The templates were made and the next week the granite was installed. The process went very smoothly and everyone was very friendly and did a great job.

Excellent. We shopped all of the top rated contractors on Angies List and elsewhere including the big home improvement stores. No one was even close to Cary Granite on price. Our installation was probaly on the more difficult end of the scale, it required seems mid-sink and mid-cooktop, the craftsmanship there was superb, hardly noticeable. We also appreciate that granite "sealing" was not oversold. Some contractors will add on charges for this and depending on the stone any other than the wipe on wipe off stuff is a scame. We highly recommend Cary Granite.

Excellent! I would use Joe again, good family guy running a business the way all businesses should be run. He didn't just complete the work and forget about us, we did have an issue with how we were maintaining the granite and Joe was quick to respond and work around my schedule! Thanks Joe!

Joe Murphy came to measure and then promptly sent me an estimate. We went to his shop to pick out the granite and edge trim. We set up an installation date, and the crew arrived on time. they installed a very long l-shaped counter, an island, and a desk area in my kitchen. The crew definitely knew what they were doing as it went smoothly and without a glitch. The same process was true for the vanity in the bathroom.

Overall, in the course of about 2 mos., I only met Joe once. So, overall, lousy.

Fantastic results. Joe is easy to work with....unlike some of his competitors who didn't seem the least bit interested in working with us and were very arrogant (Transformations). The stone was gorgeous, well installed by a polite and workmanlike team. This really is the way to do it....not as expensive as I thought either.

Joe also put us in touch with a plumber and backsplash installer to complete our kitchen remodeling project. Both of these referrals provided excellent service too.
