Lousy! I will never do business with this or any online business that does not show, upfront, their actual location, their address, their phone numbers, their contact person's name, etc.
Description of Work: On Dec. 30, 2008, I placed an online order with Bella Lace for lace drape curtains for a new front door and a window. The web site showed they only had 1 drape available instead of the two I wanted to order. I placed the order for one drape, at a greatly reduced price. I ordered a set of curtains and a valance from someone else. When I received my credit card statement there was a $30.80 charge from Bella Lace, double of what the print out read when I ordered. I called my credit card company because I still hadn't received my order from Bella Lace. The credit card company told me I had to wait for 30 days before I could file for a credit to my account. I attempted to call the lace company about the order. I got a voice message - Chris. I left a message but never received any return call. I looked at the website. I realized then there is no address, no phone, no way to contact them. I then called their supplier, Heritage Lace, a good and reliable wholesaler of lace curtains. I was told they had shipped two pairs of drape lace curtains to Bella Lace on 1-12-09 and I should be receiving them within a week. I was also told that Heritage Lace had numerous complaints about Bella Lace and they gave me the name of several other retail suppliers of lace curtains who are located closer to me to order from. It is now Jan. 27, and I am still waiting to hear from Bella Lace. No lace curtains, no return call, no email, no nothing from Bella Lace, Cal. I am using the email address for Chris at Bella Lace that Heritage Lace gave me and will send him an email informing him that I have contacted and complained to Heritage Lace and now to Angie's List to warn anyone else NOT to order anything from them. While the prices by LOOK good, their service is awful! I also have to wait until Jan. 30 to get a credit on my credit card. I am usually a very careful online shopper. I always check for addresses, phone numbers, contact people, etc. In this one case I didn't. I was in a hurry to find curtains. Being careful is always best. If a web site doesn't show where and how to contact them, in case of a problem, by a street address, phone number, email, with a contact person readily available, leave the site. Prices mean nothing. Quality of service and ease of contact with reputable people is everything! Bella Lace takes your money and runs, leaving the buyer with nothing!
