We initially had an estimate done and then moved about two weeks later. The estimate ended up being high so the move cost us less than anticipated--which is always a nice surprise. There were three movers: Mike Jordan, the driver/supervisor, James McKnight, and Clayton Smith, who worked on the move. All three did an excellent job at wrapping the furniture, carrying up and down stairs and through doorways that required doors being taken off to get large pieces inside rooms. There was no furniture damage and only minor scuffs on the stairwell--which was a miracle since the furniture going up barely fit. The guys worked well together as a team and I would definitely call the company again. If you have an interstate move ask for Mike Jordan, the driver, as he did a great job.

They were on time, worked around several other subs. Inspected the duct work and fixed problems. Would recommend for your house.

Glenn Cole came out to give estimate on moving ALL possessions, INCLUDING plants he assured us. Extremely pleasant man. We were told packing would be on May 23, finishing up and loading with delivery on May 24. However, scheduled was changed apparently for their benefit. They came on May 23, packed AND loaded truck. Door was closed on truck when we realized they had left boxes and a safe in our closet. No room as these items were apparently not planned for. Boxes AND safe had to be loaded on OUR small pick up.ay 24 early we went back to the house, before driving to Morganton to meet the truck, and saw they had left the ENTIRE lazy susan full. Very annoyed, so I called "Jason" who seemed sympathetic (a little) at that time. But offered no solution. My husband and son had to drive back over Friday afternoon, load all the plants which we were TOLD would be brought, and pack up the lazy susan. At that point, they saw that our entire bar, which kitchen appliances, cooking items, etc, had not been packed either. They had to make a SECOND trip over on Saturday to pack and load these items. Jason called on Friday afternoon, wanted to know if "that day" had gone smoothly, obviously picked up my irritation with the situation, and just said "well I'll let you go then." The bottom line is, they did not pack everything, and even though their contract says they will "resolve all issues", there was no offer to help finish this move, little concern from Jason, and we have yet to hear a word from Dan. We are senior citizens, were ASSURED the move would be COMPLETE and we would not have to assist. So, two trips over to finish THEIR job we paid a good price for, and apparently no interest, no "resolving issues". I will say, other than the person responsible for packing the kitchen who left out a lot of things, the other 3 guys were very nice and helpful. Unfortunately that does not make up for our trips back over, or Jason's who cares attitude. Interesting to see if he responds saying he did all he could, etc. He did nothing at all. Would like to add if anyone is missing a large photo, with apparently professional house plan schetches, we have them. They were unloaded with OUR boxes.

It went well, they arrived on time and moved efficiently

Their initial estimate was very close. The charges ended up being a little less than the estimate. All of the staff we interacted with were extremely professional and helpful. They worked with us every step of the way. Everything was delivered to our new home and the furniture set in place and put back together. Nothing was damaged in transit. I would highly recommend their services. They clearly deserve to be an Angie's list Super Award Winner.

These guys were awesome. I don't typically leave reviews unless I'm super impressed or really mad. I was very impressed with Easy Movers. They showed up 10 minutes early, worked really fast and carefully, wrapped all of our stuff very well, were very nice to my wife and kids, etc... I will definitely use them again if needed and will be referring them to my friends. Only con was that they smoked cigarettes on my property and left the cigarettes on the ground. I didn't like that, but honestly the rest of the experience was so great that I wasn't too concerned. Just an area where they could improve. Definitely an excellent experience.

The folks at easy movers were friendly and professional. The movers were careful, friendly and efficient. This is my second move with them and they have done a great job both times.

I think this is important to share. We have moved many times before and most times have been burned by the final bill. It always ended up being more than our budget. This time when we decided to move we wanted to make sure we had a quote in hand. I called 4 companies using Angie's List. Only one company was interested in coming to our house to do a formal quote and put it in writing and that was Easy Movers. From the estimation process to everything was moved from one house to the other and us signing the final document agreeing to the final bill, working with Easy Movers was an incredibly pleasant experience. Tim, Larry and James arrived at our house in Concord, NC at 9:05. I showed them around the house. I requested to load the furniture on the truck last at old house and furniture off the truck first at new house, and they agreed to my request. After they got all of the boxes on the truck, they started on the furniture. We have some "old North Carolina" pieces of furniture. The guys wrapped each piece with padding and giant rubber bands, then wrapped the padding and rubber bands with giant plastic wrap. It was an amazing sight to see them in action. around 11:30 the old house was packed on the truck. We headed over to the new house. I showed them the inside of the house. Then they started unloading furniture. Again, what an awesome experience. They were very accomodating as our furniture plan on paper didn't quite work out when the furniture was in the rooms. Without any hesitation they moved the furniture around to a much better layout. At 1:05pm they were done. Every box and piece of furniture was off the truck and in our new house. We highly recommend Easy Movers.

Arrived early and knocked the job out with no issues.

Since Easy Movers moved the same piano a year ago, we didn't hesitate to call them when we needed it moved back to its original location. Their workers are friendly, professional, and very careful. They put down coverings over the hardwood floors to prevent scratching. The work was done quickly with no damage to the piano, walls, floors or nearby furniture.

Easy movers was great! They were very punctual and James M. & Garfield were great. Very professional, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Easy Movers.

The crew called on their way to our house on move day with an estimated time of arrival. Mike was extremely professional and the rest of the crew- Tyree, Aronald and Julis. I gave them a quick tour of the house and then they got to work. They were very careful and wrapped all the necessary items and put down pads when needed. Mike did an amazing packing job and used every inch of space in the truck! He did his very best to fit everything but we knew based on the estimate we would need to do a small load the following day. But he certainly tried! The crew was friendly, hard working and professional. The first day was an eleven hour day and towards the end of the day they were still in good spirits joking and singing! I had read lots of reviews and looked at many different companies and was glad I chose Easy Movers! I think having good movers is crucial in the moving process. Moving is such a stressful experience and they certainly made it easier! I would certainly recommend them to clients and friends. The cost of the move ended up being just slightly less than the estimate which we were happy with and felt was fair.

From the time Carrie picked up my first phone call asking for information, I knew we would choose Easy Movers. She was warm, patient, organized, and efficient. She made me comfortable and I felt safe in their hands. The men arrived on time and, although presented with trying circumstances (moving across uneven ground with no sidewalk from the parking lot to the truck, narrow doorways, etc.) they never complained but simply developed a strategy that worked well for them. They respected our possessions down to the most trivial and the most fragile, ancient, or inexpensive items. They wrapped everything well, and we were impressed. At the new place, they had an arduous trek and it was a tiring move for everyone. Again, they never complained. They never touched a wall with any item and not one single item was scratched or broken. We would like to recognize them; they were Ozzie and James and they were helpful and kind to us on what would have otherwise been a most stressful day for us. They worked harder than we can describe. We are thankful to Easy Movers and especially to Carrie, Ozzie, and James. As for the price, it was more than reasonable especially factoring in that they had to move without a sidewalk from the first residence to the truck then at the new place move heavy loads a long long way. We would choose Easy Movers again without hesitation and recommend them highly to others. I am not certain what year our new residence was built but it is probably fifteen or twenty years old. Our old residence was from the 1950s.

Mack and his team, Miguel and Garfield, arrived almost exactly at 9:30 AM as promised and started by surveying the furniture and pre packed boxes. ( Packed by us). All furniture was wrapped both in quilts and clear wrapping to protect it. Special handling was used to protect a marble top to a dining room server and a large glass top for a coffee table. Both of these items as well and all of our goods made it thru the move without a scratch!. Perfect!. The guys were very nice and pleasant to work with, and extremely patient when it came to placing certain large pieces of furniture and making adjustments after the fact. Smiles all the way !!! I would recommend them highly and would definitely use them in the future. The best move we have ever had!

Easy Movers Inc. were real good. They're dependable, courteous. They checked everything and wrote everything down. If there was anything wrong, they wrote it down. There was a defect and they pointed everything out to me. So, they were really good.

Easy Movers service was not as expected and I am disappointed in their level of customer service after the sale. Issue #1- I had paid extra for set up of the washer and dryer that was moved however they overlooked this request to have the washer and dryer connected during the move. The company had to send another crew out to complete the set up of the washer and dryer. Issue #2-Damage to items moved. On Jan 26 I notified thecustomer service rep with Easy Movers and advised of damage to my property. I was advised they would have to refer to claims dept for investigation. Spoke to Kristen in claims dept and she advised she would need to review and call me back. Spoke to Kristen Again 2 weeks later and she stated she was still reviewing the case and would call me back. She did return the call to advise that the damage was confirmed and she would need to determine next steps. Kristen called back on 02/11 and advised the company would reimburse for damage in the amount of $220 however to date no reimbursement has been sent. Confirmed today that the company has still not mailed check.

I spoke with Cynthia in the office initially to confirm that they were willing to come to the Raleigh area to complete the move. She was very helpful and based on prior move, we got a good idea of what the cost would be. Charge by weight of the move, no charge for the distance they had to drive it all or how much time it took them to get it all loaded. It was a drizzly day and when the crew arrived, they took time to be sure that the loading area would not be too soft so the truck didn't get stuck and so the furniture was protected. Tim, the crew leader, took time to go over the policies and procedures in detail before work was begun. After several hours, they had everything loaded and on the road. They took great care in getting everything properly inventoried and wrapped so that there would be no damage and no surprises on the delivery end. When they arrived at the new home an hour away, they were careful to move the items in and place in the rooms as I directed while taking extra pains to avoid dinging the walls, door frames or scratching the wood floors- not a ding or scratch and everything went in place without a hitch! No loss of any kind. I would highly recommend!

Don at Easy Movers responded quickly over the weekend to an email we sent through Angie's List the previous night. We ended up using a different mover who we had previously contacted, so no work was performed, but we were impressed with Don's professionalism (he committed that a representative from his firm would call us at 8.00am Monday to arrange an estimate and onsite inspection) and punctuality.

Overall, I would definitely use them again. We trust them. I do believe that I may have gotten the insurance which was a little extra. But, that helped us when there was an item that got damaged. Great company, love the guys, they're hard workers.

Overall, the experience was great. I had to call them last minute after the initial company I hired to take care of the move had terrible customer service. I contacted Easy Movers on Tuesday and moved the following Saturday morning. They were always prompt and friendly on the phone. The movers arrived on time and began immediately. They clearly know what they're doing as they were incredibly efficient with their time. We moved from two separate apartments to one home and the whole process only took four hours! This was the best money I have ever spent. I would use Easy Movers again and highly recommend them.

************Stay away from these people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The move was a nightmare!! I will try to summarize - Remember when I said that my wife and I were planning to move some items by ourselves in order to reduce the cost? Well we we went a little crazy. We rented a 16" truck with one dolly for two days. We moved all of our boxes (well over 50), the baby room (crib, changing table,etc), most of the living room furniture (couch, love seat, two end tables), the dining room chairs (eight), two book cases, some of the items in the garage (air compressor, three bikes, all materials inside our storage cabinets) etc. So, my wife and were feeling very good about what we had completed because probably 1/3 of what was quoted to us we moved ourselves. I will say that we were exhausted after two straight days of moving and and moving ourselves (the third day we had scheduled Easy Movers to be at our home). So, imagine our surprise when at the end of the night of our 'official move' with Easy Movers the total cost of our move came out to be 1917.00!! How could it come out to be more when my wife and I moved so much of what was on the quote ourselves!!!?? Only one of two things could have happened: 1) They quoted us low so they could get in the door but knew that they had a move that was going to be well over 1917 and knew based on the discussion that charging anything more would not get them the sale or 2) They were milking the clock to make sure they took as long as possible to get charge us the biggest bill possible. Personally, I think it was a combination of both. It was also obvious that Easy Movers was not concerned with customer service both during and after the sale (move). I was at the residence that we were moving into and my wife stayed back at our old house to continue packing and essentially also supervise the movers. My wife told me later, after the movers left, that they had actually back talked to her several times - as an example the movers asked where the 500lb safe that we had was going to go in the new house and she told them on the 2nd floor and the movers said, "That is not going upstairs. I will tell your husband no" ! In addition, my wife actually started to feel scared being alone with these people. They were complaining, throwing things and slamming things around the house as the night wore on Other examples of their lack of customer service include: putting all of our clothes in one big heaping pile in the closet at our new residence instead of hanging the clothes up as they were brought in (since they still had hangers on them all they needed to do was hang them)--literally dropping our clothes in a pile in our closet (if they were confused about what to do with them why wouldn't the supervisor ask the owner???). I also had to remind them to put the mirror back on the dresser in the master bedroom - if I hadn't it would have been left on the floor. While the supervisor was putting together a desk and one of the movers was standing around watching him instead of looking around to see what else needed to be done I decided to look around the house to see what was missed. I also noticed that a great amount of time was spent folding blankets when they could have been moving stuff inside. Instead of asking us if a leaf (extension) should be removed from our dining room table they went ahead and did it anyway (we had to add it back ourselves), They either forget or refused to move areas we asked them to pack and move back at the house were were moving out of (some closets, extra stuff we had laying around). By the way, any TVs or electronic devices, and stereos they moved to the new house they didn't set it up as per the estimate, the china buffet was left in the dining room where it was not centered and not placed close to the wall (sticking out 6 inches), In total we had three car loads of stuff that was still left in the house that the movers did not move. Nothing like having to move stuff yourself when the movers wouldn't move it because they didn't want to, or forgot about (if forgotten then shame on the supervisor for not checking with the owners). Especially given that that my wife and I were still exhausted from the two days straight of moving the two days before. We had to come back the next day and given that we had a noon deadline to have everything out of the premises or be charged for day this was NOT EASY. I actually noticed that time was being wasted by the movers to fold blankets in the truck when they could have been moving stuff faster into the house. Also, even my wife noticed it seemed that they didn't start moving quickly until later in the night. Because I knew that we were up against a quote of 1900 for 11 to hours of work and it was approaching 11 hours I essentially told them that I would assemble some of the stuff they took apart myself. One item that I had told the movers I would put together was the Nautilus dip/chip up station which one of the movers continuously asked me if I was going to take apart at the house we were moving out of. I kept telling the guy that I wouldn't have the time since I had to watch our 4 month old baby since my wife was packing. But, I supplied the tools in order for the movers to complete the task. Well, I shouldn't have been a surprised to learn that when I went to put the chinup/dipstation together at our new residence that this bolt was missing. Of all the pieces to lose on this machine this was the one piece that would prevent the chinup/dipstatoin from being able to be put back together. My wife and I swear that this bolt was lost in spite since the movers had continuously asked about me about taking it apart. Since the move was completed I have spent countless hours trying to replace this bolt with no luck (even calling Nautilus). Nautilus confirmed that they no longer carry this part since the item was obsolete. We also discovered that there was damage to an antique mirror that was in my wife's family for generations. Given the issues above my wife decided to call the guy we had been working with to coordinate the move. This person's name was Jason and from what I heard from my wife he stated that he was surprised at the issues we had and would follow up with the crew presumably to get there side of the story and to determine if they had the missing piece to my Nautilus dip machine. He then told my wife that he would call her back. He never did. After four days I decided to call Easy Movers myself and give them a piece of my mind as I was still in a state of shock (not to mention soreness) about moving 1/2 to 1/3 of the items on the estimate and still having it come out more than the quote. I tried to get around this guy Jason but the operator had told me that Jason was I called Easy Movers asked who the manager was and was told that Jason was the supervisor for the movers. So I decided to start with Jason (again). I asked why he did not return my wife's call and he said something like, "I don't know." He then proceeded to tell me the same thing that he had told my wife about being shocked about the the service we had received and even acknowledged the issues that my wife had told him about. Then, Jason mentioned something to me that actually made sense. Jason then told me that he had only been working this job for three weeks!! Maybe this is why there was a lack of customer service and professionalism Regardless, I explained to Jason again that there was no way that our total cost should be that high if we had moved 1/4 to a 1/3 of what was on the estimate ourselves. Jason then reminded me that the quote was just that - a quote. I then reminded Jason that 'we had our entire house moved in 2011 for 1600 and never touched a box. Now, two years later, we spent two days moving as much as we could in order to cut the quote as much possible and it comes out to be even more than what we were quoted'???? Jason then told me that 'that was a different crew.' What kind of an answer is that? I said 'if you can't count on getting the same service from the same company then what is the use of going back to the same place"! We had a baseline and there was no way that estimate should have been more. Jason then told me that he he had spoken to the owner (Don) and he was in agreement that there would be no refund. However, I could speak with the COO and he might have a different opinion. Jason then asked me where this person could contact me and I gave him my work number where he could at least leave a message and I would know that he tried to contact me. Jason then told me that this person would call me by noon the next day. Guess, what? This person never called the next day. I then waited until the next day and the next day and the next day.......In summary, I have never received a phone call from this person. So, as you can see using Easy Movers resulted in a move that was far from easy for us. Stay away from these people!!! If my wife and I had not moved as much as we could for two complete days with our friends in a 16 ft truck we would have probably have been looking at a final bill that might have been over 3,000K +. In actuality we should have been asking for the labor cost for what we moved ourselves that was listed to be moved by Easy Movers rather than only requesting the difference between the actual cost and the estimate less insurance. If you value your money and time stay away from these people.

It was a pretty straight forward move with minimal challenges like stairs and tight turns. That said, they moved efficiently and took good care to move the piano without damaging anything. The two gentlemen that did the move were very friendly and did a super job.

We picked Easy Movers based on their excellent Angie's List feedback. We had obtained a quote from another local moving company and made a reservation but they overbooked us and left us without movers at the last minute. This company was quick to respond and get us on the calendar. We were given a moving estimate over the phone of $918. This involved my husband walking from room to room describing each furniture piece to the booking agent. This competitive price was also one of the deciding factors when booking this company. We were given an arrival time of between 8:30 and 9:00 and the crew of three men arrived promptly at 8:30 and got started right away. They were all professional and friendly. As the move got underway, it became apparent that they estimate had been grossly underestimated. I really feel like this might be the company's only real problem. When giving over the phone estimates, it's very difficult to really gauge just how difficult certain pieces would be to move. Not all furniture is created equal! The guys took it all in stride and kept a positive attitude even when the day got long and the furniture got difficult. One mover in particular, Miguel, never stopped smiling and went above and beyond his call of duty! Overall, we are pleased with our service. It was a relatively uneventful move. Our only criticism is simply the underestimate. Our $918 move ended up costing us $1300.
