My old garage door stopped opening/closing even though the motor continued to run. The Precision Door representative was as nice and encouraging as he could be. He immediately recognized the problem and proposed a partial rebuild using a much stronger, more supportive rod and structure than the original structure, while keeping the original garage door itself which I preferred. Less than an hour later, the new garage door system was up and running, more smooth and reliable than ever before. I noticed an immediate difference. The estimate and the price were very fair, I thought. And having a lifetime guarantee, as long as I own the home, was a nice added bonus. I would certainly use them again, though I hope I don't have to for a long while!

Couldn't have gone any better, actually. The representative arrived a couple hours after I scheduled them, located the problems in the garage door, made recommendations, and fixed the problem to my satisfaction ... all within 15 minutes. A couple issues we could not address immediately as we are retired on fixed income, but we will get the issues addressed AND it will be Precision Door that we use. It seems every rep they send is so very nice.

Greg was on time and very pleasant. After looking at my door opener (which I assumed needed to be totally replaced), he advised just replacing the "eyes" first. We did and now with savings in my pocket, we are all set! When the unit does quit, we will be calling Precision!

Feel just been ripped off. DISHONEST business. I have a spring broken on a double door. The service guy behavior more like a sales man, he first ask for $640 to replace both springs. I told him I will not use his services, then he come to a price of $350 for replace both springs, and says he just charge for the material prices of two springs, waive all service fee. I let him repaired it simply other wise I have to schedule another day off work. Google the cost of garage door Springs, pair of springs is way under $100.

They came and gave me an estimate, Over priced and tried to way over sell what was required. Miss characterized existing garage door. Quote for $2,000 new garage doors when I did not need them. Would not listen to what I wanted which was a new spring. Had to pay a service visit fee. Other company did for half and were on site 1 hour after precision left.

Technician came and determined the spring was broken. Since the door is almost 17 years old, I decided to replace the whole door and assembly. The quote is a bit high, even after I placed the order, I was still question my wisdom of paying the price. But the final work, materials and communication with the company seem justify the price. Very good door and quality of work. Will hire again.

From the initial phone call to the payment receipt I was very impressed with Precision Door. The technician was knowledgeable, explained my options clearly, provided clear pricing and helpful opinions on how to proceed. He was efficient in his work and was very detail oriented in fine tuning everything before he left. I would definitely hire this company again and recommend them highly. The length of ownership warranty on the torsion assembly is great too.

Very well. They showed up on time and made some adjustments to minimize the noise.

Service technician was prompt and courteous. The work was performed quickly and all was in working order within 30 minutes of his arrival.

Had Monday morning appt set on Saturday. Technician arrived a few minutes early, completed work in about 40 minutes. Explained what occurred. A nice surprise was that I paid for service call only as Precision replaced the entire mechanism a few years earlier and parts are guaranteed for life. Very pleased

They were terrific. The guy that came out, he fabulous. He was courteous, they were prompt. They gave me notice when they were coming. They came out the same day I called them. They fixed everything and then some additional things that I didn't even ask them to do. Like the light bulb was out and replaced the batteries for me. They did some things that needed to be done but I didn't really ask them to do that kind of stuff. They fixed the remote keypad that was broken. It was all good, they fixed it and were in and out quickly. Very courteous and I would definitely use them again. I can't imagine there is anything they could have done differently, they were great. I thought it was a good value. I would absolutely use them again.

Greg my installer was great and informative. He was careful to explain the systems functions and details. I would request Greg again.

When we called, we informed that our garage door spring was broken & it needed replacement. We spoke with 2 different person. The first person quoted $75 Service Fee (which included 25 point inspection) & $165 for replacing the spring. In spite of telling her that we got their number from Angie's, she did not offer the discount. After about 30-45 minutes & after comparing quotes from other vendors, we called again about Angie's discount. She honored $40 price for Service Fee & also quoted $165 for the springs. However, when the technician arrived, he said we have to replace both the springs for $165 each, and pay additional $60 for labor apart from the $40 service fees (Total=$430 instead of initial quote of $205). He also mentioned that they always recommend replacing both the springs when they go out for repairs. This was never explained to us by any of the person over the phone. Apart from that, the technician tried upselling even more repair options for over $700 where they would replace all the rollers, bearings, etc. When we denied the service, he insisted that we owed him $40 to come out & take a look at the garage door. Definitely not recommended.

The first guy who came said the motor needed to be replaced because some part was too old to replace. Unfortunately I wasn't home when he came because he was in the area before our scheduled time and I let him evaluate the situation while my teenage son was home and we communicated via phone call. The next guy who came to actually replace the motor said I should just change the pin settings and offered to do that for me. The second remote was in my husband's car so I said I would do it myself. That did the trick. I was only charged for a service call instead of a pricey new motor. The second guy was so helpful and I really appreciated his honesty.
