The actual service they performed was good. The techs that came to my yard were always professional, did their job, and left the appropriate information behind...absolutely no complaints there. The reason I rate the company as an "F" is because of the general business practice they followed. July of '16, I agreed to a certain number of services per year for a certain price. Up to now (March '17) everything went as agreed to. However, the the invoice I received in March for the service they performed was double the agreed to amount. I thought it might be a billing error or something to do with the mosquito spray service that I just signed up for, but I was wrong. I called their customer service person and he was very helpful trying to figure out what happened. He looked for about 10 minutes and he finally concluded that the company just decided to give me a price increase. I told him that no one had notified me and I certainly didn't authorize a price increase. I also said that I did not want to continue the service if that was the price they planned to charge me. He was about to adjust the price to the originally agreed to amount (the amount that was on a signed contract, I will add) when he realized the amount was more than he was authorized to do. He said he would need to talk to someone and call me back. He called me a few hours later and told me that "they" weren't willing to change the amount. I assumed "they" was probably a manager or owner, but I am not sure. The customer service rep apologized for the inconvenience and asked what I wanted to do. I said that I wanted the difference between the new and old rate refunded, cancel the yard service and cancel the new mosquito service. He said he would and we concluded the conversation. The customer service rep was polite and professional. I understand there could be times for price increases, but it should never happen unless the customer is informed of it in advance. One final note...I only caught the increase because I was logging into the website to set the autopay for the new mosquito service and noticed the autopay for the lawn service was double. The fact that the company did not honor the originally agreed to price and the fact that they doubled the charge in less than one year WITHOUT notifying me is unacceptable and unprofessional in my view.

They come down 5 times on a service period. We have a contract with them. They are timely and they go about their business and leave. They call you and tell you they are going to be there and you don't have to be home but most times we are home. And they come down when they say they are going to come down. It takes them half an hour to do the work.

Not so great. Had weed man for 3 years and switched to TruGreen because it was several hundred dollars cheaper. Guess you get what you pay for. After one season my yard is full of dalligrass, weeds, and Bermudagrass.

Each treatment for us is a half acre lot and it costs 75 dollars.  When we first got them we had them reseed for missing spots in our lawn.  I would tell a friend that they are pretty decent.  Over all the grass looks really well. 

They seem to stand on a descent schedule but I'm not sure my lawn is anywhere close to where I like it to be.  They are probably not the best in the world but they are certainly not the worst in the world.  They are doing it regularly but my grass hasn't responded to it very well because they are dry.  I've been using them for over a year.  I make recommendation to them all the time but I got spots in my yard that don't have grass but basically I have to wait until fall and they'll reseed again.  It is an ongoing thing, we have a wet or dry summer.

Yesterday, on 4/16 I received a bill for $88 and some odd cents for the treatment.  I called Trugreen Mooresville and told them they had made the mistake, not me, and they treated a yard they shouldn't have.  They said I didn't call to cancel service until the day after the service was rendered.  I asked, "if you didn't know I had canceled why did you send a salesman around to get me to re-up in March?"  I offered to pay half of the billed amount since I got the service and told them they could forget the other half since they made the error.  The lady said she would be happy to take my half payment, but they would turn over the unpaid balance to a collection agency after 45 days.
The reason I didn't renew with this office of Trugreen was because last year when we signed up with them it was over three weeks before we got our first service and I had to call them a couple of times to get them started.  Then they would leave messages about when they would be out and they would not show when expected.  
I used Trugreen in Charlotte at my previous home for years and had wonderful service, but the Mooresville office is a different animal.  In fact, when I informed their salesman as to why I wasn't go to renew, he said they had had problems last year and they were correcting them.  Not yet!

They told me that the weeds would be gone, but I've had to call them 3-4 times because there are still weeds in my yard. My lawn is also turning brown. THis isn't even something that they mentioned. Now I've noticed that one of my pine trees in leaning over and turning brown as well.

The service man came yesterday unannounced and rang my doorbell. After he left I called Tru Green because he left a list of things that needed to be done at my home. I wish they would have told me that I had beetles in the tree before the trees started the die.
