I had arranged with the servicer to arrive at a particular time as my wife had to leave to pick up our child from school. He was expected to come around noon, but did not arrive until later (after my wife had picked up our child). Nonetheless, when he arrived, the job was done quickly and efficiently. The garage door has been working well since that time.

Everything went great. He called to give me a time estimate, arrived when he said he would and completed the work quickly and thoroughly. My garage door now opens/closes as quiete and smooth as the day it was new.

the gentleman arrived on time and started right to working. It's nice to know I won't be able to lock myself out of my house now; and it's nice being able to close my garage door while I'm gardening and not worry about someone getting in my house.

The individual arrived on time, was very nice and professional. He explained what he was going to do, gave me pricing on the services I inquired about that were in addition to the deal I purchased through Angie's list. He also provided great tips on how to keep the garage door working for the next few years. He did all of this in about 30 minutes. Excellent experience!

Open Up Garage Doors did a fantastic job. I would recommend them to anyone looking for service or a new garage door. Jeremy was very professional; he was on-time and he was efficient. Jeremy was very friendly in all our interactions and pleasant to work with. I didn't feel like Jeremy was trying to push products on us or be the ultimate salesman. He gave us great information on the two options and let us make the decision. Based on the research we did online, I thought the price was very reasonable. He handled everything including disposal of our old garage door. Open Up Garage Doors was able to make an appointment in very short notice which was appreciated. The new garage door is great. It has more insulation than the previous one and actually keeps the garage quite mild on really cold nights. The weather strip on the bottom is high quality as well. I very much appreciate the service provided and would not hesitate to call again or recommend them to a someone looking.

John arrived on time. He's a most pleasant and polite guy. He installed the new Liftmaster door motor with remotes and keypad as per the Angie's List Big Deal for $325.00. He suggested that in the near future I might need to replace the plastic pulleys for vinyl and the rollers for a quieter and smoother lift and showed me where the most affected door pulley was damaged. I decided to go for his suggestion rather than wait for a problem to occur. The family is pleased and happy to not have to haul the door open and closed every day. Both doors operate beautifully. From the initial call, Jeremy (owner) was very responsive. The tech came (John) and was very courteous, professional, and answered all our questions. One day later, a new garage door was installed. The whole experience was as pleasant as can be expected and would highly recommend.

HE PERFORMED LIKE A PRO AND ACTUALLY WALKED ME THROUGH THE PROCEDURE WHICH I APPRECIATED. HE ADJUSTED AND GREASED THE ENTIRE SYSTEM. HE LEFT BEHIND A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER. The gentleman arrived exactly on time, explained what needed to be done and the cost. He quietly and quickly completed the work, including lubricating all the moving parts (not originally discussed or requested). He answered my questions relating to maintaining the door and departed cleaning up all the old parts and repair trash. I absolutely recommend these folks if you need a garage door repaired. I'm guessing they would do as well installing a new door or opener. I'll find out when I get to needing those in the future.

The weather seal on the bottom of my 17 year-old garage door needed to be replaced. But since it had been many years since it was professionally maintained, I wanted someone to check out the other components too. So I reviewed Angie's List and called around town to all the highly recommended companies. Of all the folks I spoke to, the owner of Open Up Garage (Jeremy) was by far the most knowledgeable about my weather seal problem. Plus he did a great job of clearly explaining what was involved / included in an inspection they perform. He also shared the kinds of things that need attention with a door of our age and what each item cost. This prepared me for the things they may find. After I spoke to all the other firms, it was easy to select Open Up. I called them back to schedule the service appointment. Jeremy shared that they would be by early the next day and that they would call when they were 30 minutes from my home. The next day they called just as they said they would and they arrived when they said they would. Jeremy and John did the inspection and showed us what the issues were (beyond the bottom weather seal). We talked price and agreed. They went right to work and did a super job. At the end, they asked if there was anything else and it reminded me I needed a garage door remote for one of our cars. They had a new remote for my door opener and it was the same or cheaper than the home improvement store. Plus they programmed it to work with my door too. After all this work, I was amazed at how quiet the door operated now. And there are the little things that you notice too (besides showing up on-time and doing a good job at a fair price)... they showed up in a company vehicle that was clearly marked / identified as being "Open Up Garage Doors". Jeremy and John both wore company shirts sporting the logo so when they first came to the door, you knew who they were . They were polite when they spoke and were always thorough and clear with answers to my questions about the repairs that were needed and the costs. I'd highly recommend Open Up Garage Doors and would do business with them again.

We decided fo install a garage door and opener for our garage. We obtained several bids including one from a discount volume retailer. All were highly rated, but in the end, the bid from Jeremy Dabbs was the lowest, after the discounts offered to Angie's List members, by as much as $500. We looked at the door quality as well as price and user statements regarding the installation performance of the vendors. Jeremy and John had the door up in lass than 3 hours, the job was done professionally and the payment was due on completion. No up front money. Because the garage floor was not level, a deeper door base seal was required. It was promplty deliivered and installed the next day. In addition, a slight adjustment was needed to close a very narrow gap between two of the segments. That was also completed. We highly recommend this business based on the level of professionalism and customer focused response.

I purchased the garage door spring replacement deal through Angie's list for $215. I was concerned due to having a very heavy 45 year old solid wood door that's 18' wide. This door is HEAVY. After my purchase, I almost immediately received a call from the owner Jeremy Dabbs. We agreed on an appointment date/time. I had warned him about my door and there was no issue. He said we'll make sure it has the right springs on it for the price of the special. An hour before his technician was to arrive, he called again to let me know when to expect him. He also said that John would be calling me when he was 30 minutes out. As promised, John called me and was here at the promised time. I was still nervous having this heavy door. John informed me that this was no issue and put the springs that were designed for the door. He adjusted everything else as well including my operator. He was very professional, clean & neat. Did the job fast and up my door up and running in no time. End result - It all works perfect. On top of that the springs have a life time warranty!!! I never take the time to write reviews, but had to for these guys!

I called them Monday morning and they came out and quoted in just a few hours and were able to replace the doors in 2 days. One door was completely broken so it was helpful to get the work done promptly. John quoted and also did the installation. He was very pleasant and professional. He installed he doors In about 2 hours and cleaned up all packaging and broken parts and hauled them away. He even did a couple of minor repairs to the remote wiring and operating button at no additional cost so that they worked more efficiently. Not only did Open Up Garage Door have an excellent price on the initial quote (several hundred dollars below another quote), but I truly appreciated the senior discount which made their service an even greater value. I will definitely use them on all future garage door work. John said I would probably need new motors in 2 or 3 years and I will call them to replace the motors before then.

One of the springs on my 10 year old garage door broke, so I called the provider to find out about the $150 deal for single spring replacement. I was advised to replace both for $215 because they are both the same age, and there is high probability that the other one would break in the near future. This was too good of a deal to pass up. The technician showed up on time at the scheduled appointment time and replaced the springs in 30 minutes, but then he really took the time to make sure the doors functioned properly and that there were no unexpected noises. I was really impressed with the professionalism and the attention to detail. I will definitely use Open Up Garage Door in the future.

Very courteous and professional. Bought a deal they advertised to replace two torsion springs. They replaced them, garage door hinges, serviced all the moving parts, and tighten the garage door opener console. I would use them again and highly recommend!

They ran about an hour later than expected. Once they arrived they diagnosed, repaired and replaced. Jeremy and John were both pleasant, uniformed, polite, efficient and effective. The price was fair compared to some neighbors costs for similar service. We would call on them again if necessary..

John worked around our schedules of availability and was to our house in less than 24 hours after the request. He called us ahead to notify us he was on his way and arrived within the 2-hour window specified. John was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He described what he was doing during the repair so I could learn as he went. He was quick to give me multiple tips on garage door preventative maintenance to extend the life of my door and door openers. He also checked my other garage door and lubed/greased all of the necessary parts to ensure it functioned well and is now a ton quieter. I would strongly recommend calling John from Open Up Garage Door Inc for anyone with garage door issues. I will certainly call him again for any future needs. Hands down... great experience.

The technician was very knowledgeable and skilled. He cleaned up after the work, in fact left the area cleaner than when he arrived!
