I am completely satisfied with Open Up Garage Door. I mistakenly scheduled service on the wrong day and when I called to tell them what happened, they moved their schedule around to fit me in on the day I needed service. They called when they were on their way and arrived 20 min later. They also inspected my garage door, instructed us on how to oil the new rollers and also explained what additional items would be needed should we want our garage door to be quieter. Extremely pleased with the level of customer service...will definitely use them again in the future.

Open Up Garage Door did a great job for us. We realized a torsion spring on one of our doors was broken when it would not go up properly. The tell-tell sign was that we could hardly lift the door by hand when set to manual open. We purchased the Angie's List "$215 for Double Torsion Spring Replacement" in hopes this was the issue. Open Up contacted us very quickly after the purchase and scheduled time to come out and check the door. They determined the spring was busted and quickly replaced it. Everything works perfectly. In addition, the tech actually checked over a second door and made some needed adjustments. These guys do great work!

The torsion spring on my Dalton garage door broke and needed replacement. This is the second time this spring has broken in 14 years and I was not pleased with the Dalton door spring system. I found Open Up Garage Door on Angie's List and called them on Tuesday afternoon. They set an appointment for Wednesday afternoon. John arrived on Wednesday during the time period set for the appointment and called about 20 minutes before arrival to let me know he was on the way. John was very professional both appearance and in his work. He replaced the Dalton spring with a standard torsion spring system that hopefully will last longer. The charge was $325 for this repair, which was the Angie's List price. This was higher than a competitor I found, but I was pleased with their prompt response and punctuality. The repair took less than an hour including John checking the door system and insuring its proper operation. I would recommend Open Up Garage Door to my friends and neighbors.

I am frustrated with contractors making appointment windows that they have no intention of keeping. Jeremy scheduled for us to meet and evaluate the job between 10:00 and 12:00. He contacted me at 11:35 to tell me that he was not going to make it by 12:00. He also stated that the job he was working on was taking longer than he expected. I asked him why he didn't call earlier to let me know that he was not going to be on time. He then stated that he had arrived at the previous job at 10:55 and that it was more work than expected. So of course I'm thinking why am I waiting around at 10:00 when he's just starting another job at 10:55. He also told me the job he was working on was in Weddington, NC and I live out by Lake Wylie, NC. This is easily a 30 min drive. So if he started the other job at 10:55 and completed it in 20 min the earliest he could of made it to my house would be 11:45. My conclusion is that Jeremy had no intention of making the appointment window that he had scheduled. If you value your time try another contractor.

getting them here was a little cumbersome. Tied up with other people but the weather had a lot of things messed up. they did stay in contact all day about the time they were arriving though which helps a lot. Very friendly people. changed out the rollers and tightened springs and bolts. did a great job. Definitely need to put on the periodic maintenance list.

Work was completed fast and on time. Would use again for future services.

It was great. I received a communication from the company immediately after purchasing the deal and has an appointment schedule for between 8 am and 10 am the next day. Jeremy arrived within the time frame, was friendly and professional, and soon after my garage door was free of noise. I would definitely recommend their service and would use them again as needed.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and the experience turned out just fine. They came out the same day that I bought the deal. They stayed in the big deal price. Their commitment to see it through successfully, and workmanship stood out. They did not just walk away.

John arrived exactly when he said he would. Very professional and personable. Did the entire replacement and checked out everything else in less than an hour! Awesome! Would highly recommend.

John was the service person. He arrived and did the work that was expected and more. He adjusted the track, inspected to rollers, greased the mechanisms and installed the free entry pad. When the work was done, he reviewed is work with me, advised me of how often I should grease the mechanisms going forward. I was certain that there would be an attempt to sell me goods/services that I didn't need. That was not the case with Open Up Garage Door. Open Up Garage Door will be my first call for any future garage door services.

Purchased the Deal on Monday and had an appointment scheduled by the end of the day. They came out on Wednesday when promised and replaced the spring in less than hour. Great job and very professional!!

Open Up Garage Door was able to come out the very same day I called them. For $89, they were able to completely fix our EXTREMELY loud garage door and make it as quiet as it possibly could be. They tuned up the unit (oiled the rollers, etc.) and replaced our old, metal wheels with new, higher-qualtiy and MUCH quieter wheels. The difference is like night and day!

I purchased a "Deal" through Angie's List for a service call with replacement of the rollers. The service was scheduled promptly, the contractor showed up on time, and the work was performed as promised. Jeremy was very easy to work with, and very professional. I would definitely recommend his services, and will use him again in the future if necessary.

We contacted Open Up Garage Door about needing a new opener for our 20 year old house. They replied very quickly to schedule the service. Everything that was listed as included in the deal was just as described and more. Our technician was one of the friendliest I've ever had for any job at our home. It was starting to snow heavily as he arrived and he didn't rush at all to quickly get done and get out of there. He took his time, walked me through everything he did, and even sat in my car to help link up my HomeLink to the garage. HIGHLY recommend!

The service technician was very professional and courteous. He arrived within the scheduled appointment time and gave us a call 20 minutes ahead of his arrival to let us know the exact time of his arrival. Overall, we are very pleased with the work and the efficiency of the technician.

The Open Up Garage Door crew are top notch to say the least. They work extremely well together and thrive on perfection. Despite below freezing temperatures and a little snow, they got it done in just under 2 hours. My torsion spring broke and ripped a small hole in the panel of my garage door. John came by took a look and said easy fix. He was about to swap out the spring when I asked about a putting windows in the door. Unfortunately, because it was an older door, switching out a panel wasn't an option. Long story short, I decided on a new insulated door with windows. We rescheduled for the Wednesday after the ice storm. They called before they showed up and when they arrived, wasted no time getting to work. Jeremy started piecing together all the new hardware and guide rails while John took the old door apart. I left for a while and came back to see the new door more than halfway in stalled. I left and came back again and they were practically done! They were quick and NEAT. I own several rentals and have some experience with work crews and contractors. So with that being said, I cant begin to tell you all how impressed I am with Jeremy and John. Absolutely no complaints. I wish more people were as professional as they are. Service was very prompt; the same day I asked about a quote they were able to come out and fix the door. I was given a time window and the technician arrived 5 minutes early and was ready to get right to work. He took a look at the second door, said that it did not need additional service, but added a support free of charge just to make sure.

I bought a special through Angie's list for $80 to have an inspection and the rollers replaced. John showed up on time and was very courteous. He found that my trolley needed to be replaced. I was disappointed by his quote. Normally to replace a trolley is $165. The trolley costs $12 - $20 at Lowe's. You can buy an entire garage door opener for $180!!! John said since he was there, the price would be $80. Still expensive but I approved. Just know the fair cost of repairs before agreeing to any work. If the repair is more than $200, buy a new opener.

I'm so impressed start to finish with this company. I had a tight time frame on when I had availability to get the work done and they were able to accomodate me. John (the service technician) was on time, knowledgeable, very professional and was able to solve my issue. I will definately use this company again.
