Our garage door is ancient and was experiencing serious shuddering when closing as well as being extremely loud (not the opener, the door). John called me prior to the appointment, came at the agreed upon time, and quickly went about replacing our rollers. The door is super quiet now and closes beautifully.

A spring broke on my 36-year old 2-car garage door on Tuesday and I purchased the spring replacement deal on Angie's List immediately after reading the good reviews for the company. They called me within an hour and scheduled the service for the next day between 10am and 12:30pm. The technician called me the next morning at 10:15 to say he'd be arriving within 30 minutes. He arrived on time, completed the spring replacement, lubricated several components, tightened several loose bolts, and leveled the door all within about 45 minutes. The door is now super quiet and works great. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and the price.

Open Up Garage Door was very prompt and performed a quality job. In addition to the spring replacements they lubed the entire system and it now works flawlessly.

Open Up Garage Doors installed a new garage door in my home a few months back. They were priced hundreds below the 2 other quotes I received, installed the door 2 days after I ordered it (other providers said it would be 1 or 2 weeks) and did an excellent job. This last weekend I noticed some unusual sounds as the door went up. I thought the door was out of alignment and called Open Up to request they check it out. The owner apologized for the inconvenience and said they would take care of it. A service tech was at my house that afternoon - same day response for a non-rev service call. He checked the door carefully but it turned out that the popping noise was coming from my door opener (older - was in the home when I bought it) not the door or the door tracks. He offered to either repair it by replacing the gear in the motor that had gone bad or replace it with a new unit. I opted for the new unit. The service tech installed it right away, problem solved. He programmed my outdoor keypad and even programmed the homelink transmitter in my car so I didn't have to dig through the owners manual to do it myself. He explained all of the features of the new opened and made sure I was completely satisfied before he left. I wish more companies were as professional and customer focused as Open Up Garage Doors. Highly recommended!

I spoke with John over the phone and scheduled an appointment time. John arrived on time when he came to our home about 1 week prior to our decision to install a new garage door. He was extremely patient to explain the several options right down to color choices. He inspected the work site and gave us details of what we could expect (both cost, time and installation). I called him back to make appointment for installation. John called 30 minutes prior to arriving for installation, he arrived with a co-worker, on time, the day of installation. They quickly disassembled the old garage door, removed all the debris, installed the new garage door all within a 2 hour window. After installation John demonstrated that everything worked properly, provided us with contact information (via sticker), provided us with an invoice informing us of our warranty and then took payment. John and his co-worker were extremely professional, prompt and polite. I would definitely use them again and will recommend them. Thanks for the excellent service.

great experience. knew I wanted to use a coupon but didn't know exactly what the problem was. talked with them and they advised on the coupon, came to do work on the day I called. quickly fixed issue. highly recommend

Tech arrived on time. Completed the tuneup and made adjustments. There were other alignment issues that tech could not resolve; so he, along with the owner returned the following week to complete the adjustments at no charge. Also had them install the bottom retainer/gasket and emergency key lock. Very responsive to customer needs with quality work. Will definitely use them for future garage door service.

John called when he was 30 minutes from arriving. He arrived promptly in the assigned window. John was extremely polite and explained exactly what he was going to look at for the tune up. After the tune up was complete, John gave me a detailed explanation of what he found. Nicely, there was no additional work needed. John also showed me how to use the new keypad on the garage.
