Scheduling was super easy and all handled promptly on line via email through AL. Jeremy then called me when he was a half hour away to give me a head's up. Jeremy was an honest professional and thoroughly explained the situation by giving me three options when he discovered that our motor had been warped and damaged by the extra load. First, we could let it go now that the springs were fixed and it would just make more noise coming down as the warped gears struggle to bear the load. He said it might last one year. Second, he has repaired and replaced the gears within the motor; however, they usually only last about 6 months due to the structural design of the machinery so he didn't recommend that from his experience with it. Third, although it was more than I expected to spend today, he could replace the motor now with a brand new one and give me the Angie's List discount. Although the motor might have had another year of life in it, I opted to get it replaced now so as not to be caught one day with a broken garage opener. Also, our system was at least 10 years old and the wireless security is much improved on the new models. As an added bonus, Jeremy offered to program my car's internal opener for me and he helped me set up the outdoor keypad so my husband and I wouldn't have to mess with it. He did this without getting our code of course. :) He was very neat and after he left with all the commotion and drilling etc., you couldn't even tell he had been there. He placed a sticker right on the motor with his info for our convenience, gave me all the paperwork and master programming key and told me he's a phone call away if we have any problems or concerns. He also takes credit cards which was helpful for me. I can't recommend Open Up Garage Door Inc and Jeremy highly enough.

Jeremy showed up in time and immediately started to work on replacing the garage door belt and the belt rail. He also replaced the old switch with a new one and installed a keyless entry keypad. He also lubricated the garage door. He did a very good job and I am very pleased with his work. Jeremy is punctual, professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely use his services again.

I recently purchased a home where the garage had been converted to a living space. I wanted to turn it back into a garage and wanted an opener since there was a garage door intact. Turns out the garage door was just a dummy door that was not operational. I was advised that I would need a whole new door before the opener could be installed. We scheduled another appointment for the following week and Jeremy explained what steps I needed to take and what he would be doing. Jeremy was very professional, understanding, showed up when he said he would, and did excellent work. He fully explained everything to me and answered every question I had. Great. He reset the door which appears to resolve the keypad problem. Also setup a new remote. Also discussed other options in case the keypad issue recurs.

Jeremy was great. He came out the same day and really knew his stuff. He had the spring replaced in no time plus he checked out the rest of the garage door and opener and lubed where needed. We highly recommend him and will definitely use him again if needed.

We have been doing a entire exterior remodel of our home and the garage door was the final part. When I say that this garage install, from initial meeting in January to install today, has been the smoothest part of this experience, I do not exaggerate! Jeremy is absolutely wonderful to work with, professional, punctual and kind. I input a request on website. Jeremy contacted me within 30 min. He was at the house by 11 am and repaired by 11:30. Prompt, courteous, efficient, and a good value.

Jeremy arrived on time, was friendly and explained the work he was going to do and why. The price was very reasonable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jeremy and his company.

Everything went fine except sometimes now, it is very screechy with the end of its opening. I have to talk over with them about that screech. I might still call them on that. They were fine.

They were unable to give me the keyless entry pad which was what I really wanted but made every effort to see if they could. When they couldn't get it to work (best guess was I needed to replace the chip in the opener), they replaced by wheels instead.

When Jeremy came to our home to look at some issues with our 17 year old garage door he mentioned a few fixes that he could do to repair the door but I asked his honest opinion about buying a newer steel door and lift master opener and the price was right and he ordered the equipment and it arrived in less than a week. Jeremy installed the new garage and Opener on 04/09/2016 and his personality and honesty was contagious while installing the newer equipment. I talked with Jeremy throughout the build and his business sense and attitude to do the best job was great. He checked everything after the setup to make sure everything worked including the wireless remote control. I meet a lot of people that try to sell you the things you do not need but when dealing with Jeremy he was the nicest business owner, installer I have met in years. The job was perfect and just meeting Jeremy was a pleasure. He made me and my wife feel very satisfied with the work he does and guess what HE DOES IT BY HIMSELF. If you need a company to fix or replace your garage door or opener you can count on Jeremy Dabbs his is very professional and down to earth attitude. It was not the cost of this project it was meeting Jeremy the owner of Open Up Garage Door Inc and now I can call him when needed and I will also tell my neighbors what a wonderful experience it was to deal with this Business Man. Jeremy was very responsive in taking and returning all calls to set up our appointments. He was very educational in explaining all the different options available to us. As a repeat customer he honored our loyalty with yet again great service at a great price. He installed a new double door, rails, springs, torsion coil, replaced seals, and installed a new opener.. we got the works done. He was very punctual and let us know when he was 30 minutes out. The job was done cleanly with nothing left behind. He was very courteous on the phone as well as in-person. He took great care of us.

Jeremy did excellent work. Everything went well. He demonstrated all system functionality, including the manual override. The second day there seemed to be a glitch and Jeremy was there within an hour. The glitch was our fault. We were not using the remotes correctly. He again checked out all aspects of the system to be sure. Everything has gone well since then and we are very pleased with our new openers.

I would use this company again and recommend them in a heartbeat! My garage door spring broke and I needed it fixed. I went into Angies List and bought a coupon for double spring replacement. Then I called first thing in the morning and Jeremy said he could come by that same day. Unfortunately he didn't have the proper spring as my garage door is "commercial" grade but ordered and came back the next day and replaced it. He honored the coupon price even though the commercial spring was more expensive. While he was here he also tuned up the other garage door, at no cost. Jeremy was professional, knowledgeable and very polite. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing garage door service!! Thank you Jeremy!!

Contacted Open up Garage Door, Inc. on Sunday afternoon when the torsion spring broke on my garage door. Jeremy called me back Sunday evening, and we arranged an appointment on Monday afternoon to replace the spring. Jeremy confirmed the time of the appointment at 1 PM Monday, and arrived promptly at 2 PM. He was very personable, and went right to work removing the broken springs. It was obvious Jeremy was expert and experienced at what he was doing. The new springs he brought were higher quality than the original installation. He completed the installation in about 30 minutes, and lubricated the moving parts of the garage door system. I was very satisfied with the responsiveness and quality of work that Open Up Garage Door, Inc. provided, and will use them in the future for garage door maintenance.

Jeremy was fairly close by when I called, and he was at my house within a hour or so. He was professional, knows garage doors, and worked quickly to get the door operational again. Would definitely recommend...and will use again.

Had rollers replaced with nylon rollers. It did quiet the squeaking noises, but the only way to truly make the garage quiet is to replace the opener with a belt drive. Overall very satisfied with the roller.

Garage door quit going up and down. Called Open Up Garage Door. They were able to come out the next day at a time that worked for us. Gave us a 2 hour window and called 30 minutes before arriving. Upon inspecting and determining the issue, they gave us a quote. We had some additional questions and after discussing the options, we decided to fix the issue and replace the motor. They were able to complete the job at that time and not have to come back. Work was done professionally.
