TruGuard

We contacted this company to obtain a quote to repair a suspected roof leak. We received a timely call back and scheduled an appointment for a couple days later. On the day of the appointment, they did not show up. After 30 minutes, I contacted their office to confirm and check the status of the appointment The staff member advised they would send a message to the owner to contact us. We never heard back from anyone.

Our neighbor had been clearing branches off of the roof of her garage. While up on her roof she thought that she noticed a slipped shingle on our roof. In that we had been in our house for 8-9 years I thought that it would be a good idea to have someone inspect this slipped shingle as well as the overall condition of our roof. I contacted TruGard and within 24 hours Christian returned my call. We set up a date / time for him to come over to the house. On the day and time we were to meet he arrived on schedule. He asked me a few questions about my concerns and walked the property with me asking a few questions of his own (about the roof etc). He told me that once on the roof he would take pictures and send them to me. A short while later, and as indicated, I received 7-8 pictures of our roof as well as an explanation that he could not find anything wrong with the shingles at all. Additionally, he commented that our pipe boots looked good as well. I will certainly remember both his professionalism and honesty the next time I am in need of any type of roofing service.

Mr. Moon arrived promptly and explained his process very clearly. He inspected the roof and took photos to show potential repairs. Fortunately he also told us that a new roof was not needed at this time.

Our roof is starting to look worn. I called truguard to schedule an inspection. Two days later Christian Moon came and inspected the roof. I was kind of expecting a hard sell. I was totally wrong. He was very friendly, honest, and professional. He told me there was some shingle cracking but I did not need a new roof anytime soon. He told me I should clean the gutters and watch the roof boots for cracking, but they look good now. I was very impressed. Call them. You will NOT regret it.

He stated that he didn't like to email quotes but would contact us to go over his estimate. It has been 5 days and he has not contacted us.

They were very professional. There was no initial money needed. They came out once the roofing materials had been delivered to us. TruGuard was the most reasonable and the product they had was equivalent if not better than what was being offered from other estimates. One thing that could have been better was the shingles delivered were different than what I agreed to and while I was told they were a very good if not better shingle I was apprehensive and researched the product myself. Also, once the roof was installed a row of shingles was sitting up and called them back as I was concerned that the shingles weren't laying down flat. The young man I spoke with indicated they would lay down flat and it would go away and it did after about after about just over two months. I wish he could have given me a timeline for this and I did feel the customer service could have been better with explaining/answering my concern over the shingles not laying flat. Finally, the crew leader for the siding project told me the initial people didn't install something needed for a part of siding and when I asked him about them installing this needed material to ensure the siding in this area was installed correctly and put in place he said he would come back and install this and I don't recall him ever doing so.

My experience was not good. It seemed like they did not spend any time on the roof, they were here maybe 45 minutes. They gave us the wrong information. We had to call someone else to repair the roof.

Rapair man was prompt and courteous. Completed the work on time and at a fair price, based on my research before hiring.

TruGuard did an excellent job replacing our roof. Christian Moon was very helpful in the entire process. He was willing to take the time to explain all the details and options. He was available by email whenever there was a question. James Collins was equally helpful as production manager. He even made another trip to our home to double-check an unrelated matter that was spotted in the roofing process, after our roof was completed. The roofing crew worked long and hard. They were considerate and fairly quiet, considering it was a roofing job. The crew worked until dark the first day and finished up around noon the second day. Our yard and driveway were left clean after the crew finished the job. We were very pleased with the entire project.

It has been 11 days since we met, I've not had any contact at all with TruGuard. No matter what the estimate were at this point I would not choose to do business with TruGuard. I met a different company 30 minutes before my TruGuard meeting and had their estimate is 4 hours.

They did a fine job. I was happy with the work. My complaint was that they were a little slow in getting the work scheduled.

The roof maintenace went perfectly. The man showed up exactly when he said he would. He repaired the shingles and the boots that are around the ventalation pipes. He was there for maybe 45 minutes.

I read great reviews about Truguard on here so I decided to give them a call related to some roofing work I needed done. I had a good initial conversation with Christian regarding the services needed and what I was looking to include in the estimate and what my options were. He seemed very knowledgeable and professional in our initial communication. We left it that he would reach out to his office and they would reach out to schedule a time to come for the estimate. I had initially thought we would use their services if the estimate was reasonable. Then... two weeks passed without contact, I had saved the number from my previous conversation so I reached back out, you know things happen so maybe I got lost in the shuffle. I had another good conversation with Christian who again assured me that I would be contacted via email to set up a time for the estimate...... and nothing. Finally, about a week and a half later, I received a call from Christian saying they had once again forgotten (or the office staff did not follow through, either way it did not happen) about coming out for our estimate. He was very polite and apologetic during the call, but as you can imagine we will not be using their service. I have given a 3 for professionalism based on the fact that he at least called to apologize for never following up. Maybe after our discussion we weren't a big enough job to warrant their service, I dont know, but in the end we will look elsewhere.

Chris came out to walk through the house and hear what I wanted done. He was on time and very professional. The written proposal was very thorough and detailed everything out. They were not the cheapest quote but I felt they would do the best job. The painters arrived on time each day and were meticulous in preparing the house for painting. Floors were completely covered and furniture and cabinets were draped with plastics. Process took the time estimated (2 days) and I was very happy with the completed job. I would not hesitate to use them again.

After getting several quotes to replace our roof, siding, and gutters due to hail damage, we chose TruGuard based on their very competitive pricing and excellent reviews. They did a great job on the roof, and when they accidentally broke our skylight, they replaced it immediately--by the time I got home, the new skylight was already installed. (And frankly, it's nicer than what it replaced.) They then moved on to the siding and did a good job on that as well. Unfortunately, a few of our shrubs and window screens were damaged in the process, but that kind of goes with the territory, and it was a relatively minor inconvenience. Because it had been very rainy, our yard was wet, and the materials and equipment tore up some of our grass, so they reseeded those spots once they had finished. By the time they finished installing new gutters, it looked like a brand new house, and we're very happy with the results.

Excellent response to initial request for quote (same day); excellent service in making repairs. Highly recommend this company.

This is my second time using Chris Gerbino for my homes painting needs. His customer service is top notch and his team does a GREAT job. Fast, efficient, professional and clean. They provide you with a very detailed and thorough quote that gives you options in pricing and product. I highly recommend this company!

They were excellent and I can't say nice enough things about them. They were very thorough and cost effective. They came with a team and did the job in one day. Then the next two days, they did the finishing work like insulation, sealant, sanding and painting window seals.

I did not use them this time, just need to hold off on this activity for now. Their presentation is very thorough and detailed - I knew exactly what would happen and when. They are very professional and I would definitely recommend and use them in the future.

Everything went well and they did good work and they came on time and got the job done in time they said. The price was good and everything worked out well. I would use them in the future.

We were extremely pleased with everyone we dealt with from TruGuard. Chris and Darryl were professional and knowledgeable as well as a pleasure to deal with. The two person crew that did the painting were punctual and courteous. They also were also very fast, completing the job in one day less than estimated. The final result was excellent. I would strongly recommend TruGuard.

The experience was great. They did a great job. They cleaned up everything. They were very professional and very good. They even did some extra things like; one of the gutters was hanging loose so they pounded it back up and fixed it. It was close to the wall. They did some extra stuff to secure the gutter a little better.

Did a good job with no known issues. I would use them again in the future.
