It was quick and smooth. They replaced the sheathing that needed replacing. Gave me a nice "Angie's List" Price. Painted all the stand pipes and did a remarkable job of cleanup. We haven't found any sign of them since they left. They have several crews, and I was told that we had their main crew, which had just come off a another job on Friday afternoon. We are very pleased with the work overall.

Exemplary. We just finished a whole house remodel and didn't initially include the roof repair as part of the project until some unforeseen circumstances forced our hand. I found TruGuard on Angie's List and things have only gotten better from there. As several other reviewers have attested, Christian is a superb communicator throughout the process and the team he works with matches his service quality. The old roof was taken down and the new roof put up in the same day. The install team was prompt, courteous, and very attentive to the needs of the project. They also helped us with bathroom ventilation in our house which didn't exist prior. The roof looks GREAT and the cleanup work after the roof was up was spotless. All that being said though the real difference maker in this process was Christian. I managed 10+ subcontractors on the recent home renovation and I wish all of them had half the skills of Christian when it comes to planning, communications, prompt follow up, and dedication to the customer. I am very sincere here. Never once did me or my fiancée have to worry about him following back up with us on anything and that is saying something after the amount of times we needed to rework our initial invoice to submit to the insurance company. He continues to help us with some post-install work related to our gutters and doesn't let up a bit on his professionalism and over all great service provided just because the final invoice was sent. I recommend Christian and his team without reservation. Matter of fact, I have already recommended them to at least two other friends, one of whom who has already engaged TruGuard and Christian in the repair of their roof. 10 out of 10 stars here. Probably the thing I hate most about having to put on a new roof is the pressure of finding a good roofing company, one that's going to do the job right (the first time) and be pleasant to work with. As I scanned through Angie's List listings, I could not help but notice the horror stories that can come from selecting the wrong company. I was determined to do my homework and get multiple bids - and I did! Why I chose TruGuard Construction: 1) Professional - from my very first meeting with Christian, I was struck by both his integrity and the professionalism of his company. He was VERY responsive ? before, during and AFTER the roof was installed! That's a HUGE plus in my book. I appreciated both his honesty and his follow-through. It made for a very pleasant experience. 2) Work Crew - you know, you really gotta be careful. Some companies apparently sub-contract out to various work crews and you really don't know WHO's going to actually be installing your roof. What I really appreciated about TruGuard is the longevity (and composition) of their crew. These guys KNOW THEIR STUFF? they were neat, practiced and professional. "Juan" their crew chief was awesome to work with ? great communication, and he made it his personal mission to insure our roof went on perfectly, without a hitch! He was very responsive to my requests, and really went the extra mile to make us 100% happy. Juan's (and his crew) are true professionals! 3) Price - competitive! That's what counts, right?! 4) Clean-up: WOW! Seriously. The crew went above & beyond on their clean-up ? absolutely no mess left whatsoever. And to top it off, Christian came back by to re-check his team. Not for 5 minutes either ? he really scoured our grounds to insure there was no nails, and no mess left at all. Nice! 5) Responsive - it's so refreshing when you can reach people when you need to get a hold of them - whether it's before, DURING or even AFTER the job's been done. TruGuard & Christian score a perfect "10" for responsiveness! ? no dodging of calls, no "putting me off" ? these guys mean business, and they encouraged me to call them with any concerns, and were easy to reach when I did! 6) Honesty - so important. It's really nice when you find people with integrity. There was zero pressure to spend more than I needed to. I appreciated that. 7) Character - you know, it's what people do when they think no one's watching that really tells the story, isn't it? So nice to work with people you can trust. Bottom Line: Perfect! Frankly, they could've had a film crew following them around as they did their work and I don't think they would've done a single thing differently! TruGuard did what they said they'd do - and more. Both Juan and Christian inspected everything once they were done and took their time to make sure it was done right! They were on time, neat, and a lot less noisy than I anticipated. Truly a great experience. Thank you guys!!

They arrived bright and early and worked until almost dark... completely an extensive job in one day. They did an excellent job and cleaned up the area entirely before leaving. No problems at all. I am not sure of all the details; my son worked with them; I watched and was amazed at the fantastic job that was performed on that roof. They were okay. Their price was the lowest of the people on Angie's List. There were some people lower that were not on Angie's List. I like the work they are doing. The proof is in the pudding. They are doing a good job quality-wise. Every once in a while they will get another job and work me in-between and they will be gone for a little while but I am happy with them. They are punctual and they show up. They are professional. I am doing a little bit with them at a time. They will be doing the stained concrete on my back patio.

Christian, the individual who provided our initial estimate, stayed with us throughout the entire process as our point of contact. He was at the site the morning of the job, and contacted us after to ensure we were fully satisfied. The crew was extremely professional, responsive and timely.

The job was easy to schedule. They showed up promptly, did the work and provided me with information about what work had been completed.

Our roof was repaired after the hail storm 2 years ago, but the previous owner had opted not to replace the roof. Due to areas found when we purchased the house last fall, we felt that we should replace the roof while upgrading the exterior of the home, painting, and landscaping. We received three estimates to replace our roof, and decided to go with TruGuard after meeting Christian Moon and talking with him about the project. Christian is absolutely the best guy to work with- he comes before, during, and after the job completion to make sure the crews are proceeding as planned. He told us the job would be completed in 1-2 days, and it took one day, plus a couple of hours the next morning for the final job to be completed. The shingles were a little late coming the first morning, or it probably would have all been done in one day, and it is a large house and roof. The crew worked about 12 hours the first day, and about 2-3 hours the next morning. Christian came out to check on things late the first day, even though I told him he did not have to make the trip. But Christian knew from talking with me, that I am very picky and particular about my house, so he wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied. He is in constant communication with you during the project from estimate, scheduling, and the actual job being done. Christian did not ask for any deposit or down payment, and their company offers a 10 year workmanship warranty in addition to the shingle warranty from Owens-Corning. Payment was not made until the Monday after the job was completed on Saturday morning. Also, Christian came and helped the crew with the clean up process, and he ran a magnet around the perimeter several times to make sure no nails were left in the yard or flower beds. He took care of Tega Cay permits prior to the start of the job and came to post the permit the evening prior to the job beginning. The crews use air drills for nailing, so the process was quick and not quite as noisy as hand nailing a roofing project, so once the tear off was done, being inside the house was tolerable as far as the noise level. Would definitely use TruGuard for any future home projects- and would request to work with Christian Moon as the rep in the future.

The entire experience was fantastic. We had been researching windows and window installers for years. We finally decided upon Simonton and began to focus on local installers - that is when we landed on TruGuard. Christian and his team were absolutely great. These guys don't make their sole living trying to sell windows. I had creepy and annoying "sales pitches" from a lot of local window guys - Christian and team do none of that. They respected that I had done my research and wanted to work on getting aggressive pricing. It probably took 10 days or so between the contract and installation. They took detailed measurements inside and out and when the windows were delivered/installed, they were a perfect fit. The team was efficient during installation and made sure to minimize any disruption inside the house. The quality of the installation is top notch - caulking, brick mold, etc. all look great. It was a big investment for us and having the success we did with TruGuard makes us very happy. We highly recommend TruGuard for windows!!!

The service guy was extremely nice and fixed what needed to be repaired. He saw more missing shingles and went to Home Depot to purchase more. He finished in less than 2 hours.

one was all over the multiple roof surfaces checking and patching while the other worked on the additional rain runoff barriers - over the past 12 months no more leaks have occurred - :)

Chris Gerbino was wonderful. He took time to arrive with the crew when they started so we all were in agreement as to the scope of the job. Then he came back the second day to be sure all was going well and expectations were being met. He came again to do a final walk thru to be sure I was completely satisfied. In addition, the crew that came to our house was extremely efficient and personable. They were a pleasure to have working in our home.

I did not get the name of the TruGuard employee who performed the pressure washing. But I must compliment his work ethic and performance. The cedar siding on our home is not easy to reach on two sides of the house, so I was worried how well the work would be done. When I inspected the job afterward, I was amazed that the house sparkled and looked amazingly better. He worked hard and thoroughly, and seemed to be careful around the large picture windows we have. The only negative was that apparently a bit of water penetrated our outdoor electrical outlets, and tripped the protection switch. But after a little drying, it was fine. Next time I'll know to cover the outlets with plastic. Great Job and a happy customer!

I found TruGuard on Angie's list and they gave us a very reasonable quote to replace our roof. Mr. Christian Moon was very professional and explained everything clearly. They did a great job and we love our roof. They also fixed our drywall which was very convenient for us as we didn't have to get another contractor. It's good to know that there are a few companies that put service first rather than making a profit. We will certainly use them again if needed.

Chris Gerbino did a great job of explaining what was included in the paint job. He also took a piece of material with him so he could match it to the exact color I wanted. He followed up with me the whole time. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Very professional job and at a reasonable price.

Technician was punctual and professional. He sealed a leaky sky light and cleaned 15 years of dust build up off the glass. Inspected the rest of the roof and found some other issues that were outside the scope of the service but will return to do as another service. I was satisfied with the service.

Great. Very professional and easy to work with. They were supposed to provide a detail of services for the buyers' realtor and forgot to send.

They came in, brought the paint, caulked and painted all my trim as well as paint my laundry room red, touched up a few things from our last painter, cleaned up and left. Easy-peasy and great job.

The company arrived on time and preformed a check of the roof and shingles for damage. They replaced several shingle areas with shingles which we had from the construction. We were pleased with their report and would call them again if needed.

Very disappointed with this company. The painting that was done did not cover up the old paint and they had to come back a second time to re-do two of the rooms because it did not cover and there were paint drips. Part of this was my fault - that is, I didn't realize that the sticker on the paint can listed the color number AND the type of paint used (I thought it just gave the color number). However, Chris, the man in charge, should have known what type of paint would best cover up the old color. The other problem that I had was using the coupons for two painters for 8 hrs at $450. The coupon said that there was a limit of 2 coupons per person; so I asked Chris if I could use two of the coupons to get the entire house done (4 painters for 8 hrs) . He stated that I could and that they would get as much done as they could. However, after the job was completed for the second time, Chris told me that I was only suppose to use one coupon per project; and that they did what they could in the 8 hrs that they had. This made me angry, as I was expecting 8 hrs of quality work and not 8 hrs of "hurry up and get it done" work. My advice for anyone using the coupons: Get it in writing of what will be done and also make sure that the paint being used will cover up the walls the first time around.

They were on time and on budget. The customer care was good and the work was done until we were satisfied.

My house is 10 years old. I have lived her 6 years. I wanted to make sure the roof was in good shape. I have a number of neighbors that replaced their roofs because a roofing company canvassed the neighborhood convincing the neighbors to submit insurance claims for hail damage. I could not in good conscience falsely file if there was nothing wrong with my roof. The investigation showed there was no damage to my roof. I had great service! I greatly appreciated getting an assessment from an honest and professional company!

Excellent. From beginning to end this was an excellent experience.

I had several shingles that needed fixing or replaced. I called them for an estimate, and they came out very quickly to examine the roof. I had several extra shingles in my garage, so they fixed everything during the visit and examined my roof for other damage (thankfully there was none). Very responsive and professional.
