Rick and his crew are meticulous! They carefully matched colors, made sure fixtures and furniture were returned to proper locations after painting. Were prompt and courteous. They know their stuff! I have recommended Accent Painting to a friend and he was equally pleased. They are on my "A-List" for painters in the future. I highly recommend to others.

I had a very good experience with Rick Carter and his crew of five guys who worked at my house. They arrived on schedule, were professional, pleasant, accommodating and very easy to work with. They did a beautiful, meticulous job with the ceilings and the painting. I couldn't be more pleased with the way it looks. The guys were careful with my furniture and other things in the house and didn't damage anything. (I did empty the china cabinet and remove breakables from the dining room before the work started.) I was a little undecided about the paint color for the bedroom and Rick wanted to be sure I would be happy with the color I selected. He didn't complain when I changed my mind at the last minute, even though it threw him slightly off-schedule. From the reading and research I had done on popcorn ceiling removal, I expected it to be a messy job, and it was -- a lot of scraping and sanding and a lot of dust. The guys taped plastic ceiling-to-floor in the areas where they were working and covered all the furniture in areas near where they were working, but they had to be able to get in and out of the work areas and the dust drifted to adjacent areas. They vacuumed and cleaned after completing the work and I think they did a good job with that, but I wasn't surprised that I did have to do more dusting and cleaning after they left -- in areas where I hadn't noticed the dust before they left or I think they would have cleaned it if I had asked them to. I got quotes that were less than Rick Carter's and I could have had the work done at a lower cost, but I'm glad I decided to use Accents Professional Painting and hope to be able to use the company again when I'm ready to do more popcorn removal and painting.

I purchased their Angie's List deal for two painters for a day. Rick contacted me by email within hours of my purchase and we set an appointment for the next week. Gus and Sergio arrived on time (actually 5 minutes early!). They helped me move my very heavy bed and made sure everything was properly covered/protected. They changed the wall color in three rooms for me and had a little extra time left over to freshen up my baseboards too. They left everything very clean and all the furniture back in place. I couldn't be happier!

The work went well. Rick (the owner) was responsive and communicated both the work that was needed and the schedule in a very timely manner. Sergio, the employee who actually did the work, was professional and extremely clean. He isolated the work area by covering all free surfaces with plastic sheet, hung plastic sheet from the ceiling where there were doorways etc and covered the floor. He then proceeded to mud and spackle the areas that needed repair, and finally repainted the repaired areas. It is almost impossible to find these ares after everything had dried. He cleaned up at the end and left the room very clean. The time estimate for the work was correct and no hidden charges were forthcoming. Overall, we were very satisfied with the work and definitely will use them again.

Service was prompt, professional, and on time, as promised. They did a beautiful job and cleaned up after each of the two days that they performed work in our house.

Following purchase on Angie's list, I was promptly contacted by the Provider to perform the work. Work was scheduled much sooner than anticipated and then Rick came to look over the work to be performed, and the work was scheduled. Sergio arrived promptly, went straight to work and continued thru the day until everything was completed. He cleaned up the entire area and left it spotless.; there was absolutely nothing I had to do. The room was prepped for future painting. Excellent work.

Excellent! The Accents team is always do a great job and have worked for us for several years and we will have them back after pollen season in 2015 to do more work!

Rick Carter and his wonderful crew NEVER disappoint.... They are professional from START to FINISH. If you have read any of my postings on this site, you know I can be very demanding. Still, I doubt even someone as critical as I am, could find a single, negative thing to say about Mr. Carter and his crew. If you grew up believing in the adage, " a days work for a day's pay," Accent's Painting Company is the one for you.

I had a leak in my roof that caused water damage in my ceiling. The leak was repaired, now I needed to fix the ceiling. I called and left a message explaining my issue. I was not necessarily in a rush, but it was nice that the outgoing message explained that it would likely be a few weeks before any new work could be scheduled. Rick called me back the next day, and we arranged a time for him to come out to give me an estimate. Rick came out -- right on time -- and checked out the damage and sent me an email that day quoting $400 for the work. I had a really good feeling about Rick -- and all the positive reviews on Angie's List reinforced my faith in him, so I asked Rick to let me know when his next opening came up. He did, and we scheduled the work for Nov. 7 at 7:30. Rick's employee, Sergio showed up EARLY! He must have arrived around 7:10 or so, but he waited in the car until 7:30 to ring the bell. I was so impressed with his punctuality and consideration. I was even more impressed with Sergio's work. You would never guess that ceiling had ever been damaged -- it looks better than when I moved in. Plus, Sergio meticulously covered all of my furniture and cleaned up thoroughly. I am thrilled. Rick and Sergio are the definition of professionalism, and I would use Accents again in a heartbeat.

I spoke to Rick and he came out to give me an estimate. He emailed me soon after with a quote. It was a good price for the amount of work done. Rick and the two other painters were on time and very professional. They moved all furniture and smalls involved in the process. They draped the room in plastic sheets so no paint got any where it was not supposed to be. They replaced everything when finished moved the furniture back and vaccumed. It looks great and I could not be happier with the quality. If I ever need any painting I know who to call. They also cleaned my outdoor porch lights for me. Really great service

Rick (the owner) and Cathy and Ronny were very professional. The walls are smooth as silk. They did a lot of work to achieve that. It took longer than we thought it would, but they are perfectionists, and we are pleased with the results. We can highly recommend them. We will have some more painting projects in the future and will definitely hire them again.

I contacted Accent in September for quotation of work. Mr. Rick Carter, the owner, came out personally to look at the job. He was able to quote in a modular format to permit me some budgetary and timing flexibility. I scheduled the work. They followed through and started just last week. The same crew worked the entire job from start to finish working full days with only normal daily breaks until the job was completed. Crew and management were attentive to questions and focused on quality and value of service, Several forks in the road were turned into improved value and ready solutions. The entire crew were pleasant to work with and I felt comfortable at all times that work was proceeding according to my wishes. I was very pleased the crew members were able to control the sheetrock dust to an impressive minimum. Clean up was well planned and executed. Virtually all waste disposal was included in the service. As things went well I have requested additional quotations for exterior repairs and painting. Spring is the target time frame. My selection criteria were: Local proximity; "A" level Angie's list rating; Good recent Angie's reports in my desired specialty and scope; Personable willing listener; Modular quote. What I most appreciated were: Modular quote for work amounts; Preparation of needed materials; Default path of decision was quality and efficiency; Follow through to the last detail; Personable nature of management and crew; Expertise.

When contacted on November 4, we made an appointment for the next day. However, I left a message telling them that they were unprofessional in placing their ad. P. Carter did not like hearing the truth about his deceptive ad and cancelled the appointment and told me to get a refund from Angie's List. In other words, don't pay for services until they have been met.

They were very responsive from the start. It was easy to set a date for the work. Rick was my contact person...the owner. Sergio was the worker that came. He arrived very punctually and professionally. He did a wonderful job. Being that it was an old wall with lots of buildup, the job took longer than 8 hours. Rick came and completed the job after the 8 hour period and charged a nominal fee to finish. The walls look great and they did a fantastic job. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again.

Rick Carter, the owner came to give us an estimate and provided a price within 24 hours. We were very impressed with his knowledge and what we were communicating we wanted the finish job to be. Without ANY hesitation I would hire this VERY PROFESSIONAL company again. Two of his painter - I hesitate to call them painters, because they are true Craftsmen and Artist at their work - serviced our job. From start to finish these men worked all the time and took their time to do Everything with Perfection. Their Pride in their Work was so evident from day one. We did as Rick had instructed and removed all breakables, etc. The men quickly and respectfully and carefully covered everything with plastic. They sanded down all the walls, they mudded all imperfections and cleaned up behind themselves. The next day they sanded all the mudded areas and continued to sand more walls............our drywall looked like brand new drywall when they finished. No old roller marks, paint strokes, etc were left on any of our walls or trim. They saw imperfections I never saw, never one time did I have to point out anything to them. They finished the job with a perfectly completed paint job - walls, ceilings, doors and trim. We could not be happier. It was the most pleasant experience we have ever had with a contractor.......and I am a perfectionist, so to please me they had to be REALLY REALLY Good and they were.

Rick Carter is extremely professional and the quality of the woe is excellent. I did not know Rick and we had a relatively small job. Despite being very busy, Rick fit us in within 2 weeks and did an impressive job. The folks who installed the cabinets on the wall that was repaired spontaneously commented on what a good job had been done. I will use Rick again and again in the future.

We had a two man crew for eight hours. I let them know everything that we wanted done if they had the time and to my surprise they were able to get it accomplished. They really went above and beyond to finish all the work we asked for. On top of all the hard work they were both very courteous and friendly. Scheduling was really easy, turn around was quick and they were able to come out within a day. I would highly recommend and will be using Accents Professional Painting again in the future.

This was my second time using the company, and my experience was just as great as the first. The worker arrived on time, did an excellent job, and didn't leave any messes.

Everything was great. The gentleman showed up on time, was friendly and courteous, and did an excellent job without leaving a mess. In fact, you would never have known that they were here. Additionally, the owner stopped by at least two or three times to check the work and make corrections when necessary.

Rick's response time was great. Made the process very easy. The painters arrived early but didn't come to the door until the appointment time. They did an excellent job. In addition, the workers were very neat and clean. I had originally requested bids for more work but had a limited budget so revised my requests to remove a spare bedroom and two closets. After accepting the proposal from Rick he said they would do one of the closets if they had time. They did which was wonderful. Also left me with a gallon of paint for me to use on the remaining bedroom and closet. All around very positive experience. Will use them again and recommend them to others.

I was very pleased with the work that Accents Professional Co provided. Rick contacted me in a timely manner after I left a message and he came to the house to give me an estimate on the project. He was very honest about what the job required and how much time it would take. He told me I that it would probably be 3 weeks before he could fit me into the scheduled, but I was pleasantly surprised when it only took a week for them to come do the work. Sergio, who performed the work, came in with Rick on the day of the project and started working immediately, so no time wasted. He even worked through his lunch hour to complete the work before my family got home. I was so happy with the work. It was wonderful to come home to pretty, new walls! It was like they were walls in a new house. And, I greatly appreciated the cleanliness of Sergio as very little dust was left behind, which helped me tremendously. I highly recommend these guys and would not hesitate to use them again!
