Rick came promptly to give the estimate and worked started within a few days. They accommodated well to the flooring crew that was there at the same time. The job took a whole month to complete, but the crew tried to do the least interruptions to a normal life as much as they could. They did an excellent job, with a very thorough prep work, which really showed at the end. They cleaned up everyday after they were finished and never left anything dangerous for two small children. They were very punctual and showed up on time. Denni, Roni and the rest of the crew were excellent and did a great job. This was our highest bid offer, but felt we got what we paid for and are very pleased with the results. Any concerns were addressed immediately to our greatest satisfaction.

Best, most professional painters we've had in our home. Excellent crew that arrived on time, and cleaned up each day. Started and finished the job on time. Meticulous preparation and finishing touches. Will definitely have them back.

This company promptly returned my emails (most companies I contacted for an estimate didn't). He was very friendly and came out to our home to give a free estimate. He was very professional and I was impressed with the company. At $4,000, his estimate was significantly higher than another ,so we used another painter. If we weren't on a tight budget, I would have used Accents Professional Painting.

This company is the BEST. They do outstanding work. The owner (Rick) is professional and courteous and his crew is fabulous. Fast, efficient and really willing to help out with small things like hanging new mirrors in the kid's bathroom. I would and WILL use them again. They also refinish decks and we will call them when we are ready to have our deck refinished. These guys are the best, no question.

This company did a great job. They completed the work in a day and a half. They were prompt and reliable. They were able to accommodate our schedule. They taped around the windows and doors before painting. Rick Carter, the owner, came out and checked to see how everything was going. They cleaned up after the project was over and were attentive to details. I was pleased with their work and would recommend them.

They have done an excellent job. This is my third time working with them. They are very clean cut and honest. They painted trim on my house also my deck and fence.

Excellent. I'm writing this with fond memories as the crew was here during the 9/11 trauma. It is now 7 years later, we are selling the house and it still looks great! The crew was so good, orderly, very good attitudes, good manners, no cursing, always on time and cleaned up beautifully every day. Never asked to take short cuts, etc.

They are excellent. I felt good enough in trusting them to be in my home working while I was out in meetings. Cleaned up well after each days work didn't leave things lying around. Took excellent care in doing things around our likings.

We are getting ready to hire them again to do some more painting in the house. They were on time and they worked very well. They were very polite about being inside our home. They covered up everything so they didn't get paint on anything. They had to prep the walls. They did an excellent job.

Fabulous. Rick and his crew were absolutely wonderful. I had three of the nicest individuals here working every day for about 2 weeks. They were courteous and professional and very nice to my kids. The guys even played basketball out in the driveway with my 7 year old son while they were on their lunch break! I would (and will) have them back for any painting work in the future. Oh, and Rick's cost came in under his estimate.

They did a great job and we were more then happy with the outcome of the work they performed. They were able to fit our job in quickly due to the rain (as they job they had lined up before ours was for exterior work). This was very convenient. Their quote was a bit higher then some of the other quotes that we got, but based on their feedback from Angie's List and their approach to the work (paint vs. spray) we decided to go with them. We were pleased with the work the performed. They were on time and cleaned up well. They were easy to communicate with and we would consider hiring them in the future.

The crew did excellent work. They were friendly and I was comfortable having them in my house. Rick was very accommodating as far as adding on the extra jobs we wanted to do. The guys were very punctual, professional, and did better work than any other painters we have used. They worked at my house twelve days, which was longer than I thought they would be there, but the end result looks like a new house. They take a lot of pride in their work and strive for perfection. They were very good about cleaning up at the end of the day and were always careful to hang plastic around the areas where they were working so the dust would not go all over the house. I am already thinking about which rooms they will do next!

Rick came and did an estimate. We had to change the date and Rick was very accommodating. A crew of four worked 3 and 1/3 days and did a marvelous job. They were very accommodating to my electrician who was replacing ceiling fixtures. They cleaned up after themselves each day and did a good job at limiting the dust from the repairs when they sanded the fresh plaster. They fixed problems with the walls that I never saw. The charge was the original estimate. I am very happy with the work and the price.

Accents did a wonderful job. Rick Carter and his crewman arrived on time the first morning to discuss the work. His crewman (Jervais? sp?) could not have been nicer. The job took 3 days and involved trying to remove up to 4 layers of old wallpaper. Jervais recommended that he remove as many layers as he could, and then coat the walls with oil-based primer for a good seal, followed by drywall compound to smooth out the surface. He arrived every day on schedule, worked hard without interruption and clean up meticulously every night. The walls look great and the cost of the job (which was based on time and materials) was less than competing fixed price bids. I'm completely satisfied.

Worked very quickly. Total time in my home was 4 hours. Did a good, thorough job.

They did an amazing job of repairing and prepping the walls for paint, applied two coats of paint, and caulked and touched up the baseboard below. (We had asked to touch up the woodwork ourselves.) The job was beautifully done. The workers were extremely conscientious about their work and very courteous. Rick Carter and the workers did a good job of communicating when they would be working and adapted to our preferences. I felt comfortable having them in my home.

RICK RETURNED OUR CALL IN A VERY REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME (WITHIN TWO DAYS) & CAME OUT TO GIVE US A VERY THOROUGH ESTIMATE. AS OTHERS HAVE STATED, THEY ARE NOT THE LEAST EXPENSIVE COMPANY AROUND BUT THEY ARE THE BEST! ONCE THE PROJECT BEGAN THEY SHOWED UP EVERYDAY(ON TIME), WORKED NEATLY & CONSIDERATLY & CLEANED UP THOROUGHLY EVERY EVENING. THE CREW WAS PLEASANT TO BE AROUND ( VERY IMPORTANT WHEN YOU WILL BE SPENDING 2-3 WEEKS TOGETHER) AND COMPLETELY TRUSTWORTHY. I DID NOT HESITATE TO LEAVE MY HOME IN THEIR CARE IN THE MORNING AND NOT RETURN UNTIL THE LATE AFTERNOON. THE WORK THEY DID WAS IMPECCABLE AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARE TRUE ARTISTS AND MY HOME IS BEAUTIFUL!! WHEN WE ARE READY TO DO THE REMAINING 5 BEDROOMS AND TWO BATHS THIS IS WHO I WILL CALL.

We had used this company in the past and they did good work so we decided to contact them again. For financial reasons, we decided to go with another provider. However, they are so good about giving you a VERY detailed estimate. There are no questions, everything is perfectly clear; for this I applaud them. We defiantly would use this company in the future!

He couldn't give me price on stripping the paper, because he bases it off of work and materials. I wasn't comfortable with that. He said it would be over $1000 to paint, and I thought that was a little high. We decided not to use them.

This crew is fantastic and so hard working! They arrived every morning promptly at 7:30 am and then WORKED LONG DAYS. In fact, because of the long days they put in they were able to finish the job a day early! They are hardworking, polite, and do an excellent job. Also, they clean up after themselves every night. Accents is not the cheapest bid in town, but I value their work and my time and peace of mind too much to use anyone else.

Fantastic. This was the second time we used Rick and his crew. Again, they exceeded our expectations in the quality of work they did. They fixed our walls to ensure the wall paper went on right, did extra painting in my son's room to make it look right and the rooms look beautiful. Their price is usually a little higher than some others, but they're well worth it. They'll continue to be our top pick for painting and wallpapering.

Rick promptly returned my calls, showed up to estimate the job as promised and e-mailed me a quote on the next business day. He made recommendations for improving the overall job throughout his visit and made sure to stress the importance that I would be happy with the job and his crew's attention to detail and clean-up efforts. Rick also was very accommodating of our business travel schedule and was able to schedule the job around that. David and the crew were on time each day and extremely considerate of the fact that people were trying to live there while the work was being done. The paint job is beautiful; everything was cleaned up each day and each room was thoroughly re-assembled when it was completed. They even re-mounted the window seats our cats sleep on during the day! Of the three estimates I received, Rick's was the highest, partly because he offered to do more than the others. This company is the one to use for premier, not budget, jobs.

I cannot speak highly enough of this company. They are professional in every area. They show up on time, work very hard all day and clean up before they leave! The entire crew is very polite and respectful, even if they think your paint colors are terrible!! I will tell you that Accent is going to cost you more; however, when all is said and done, they are well worth the price. I'm fairly critical, as we own a building company at the NC coast and I see a lot of different painters. No one, and I mean NO ONE, can hold a candle to these guys.

This company is incredible! First, the crew was completely considerate that they were in my home, they were very polite and very meticulous. The owner is very responsive and aims to please. They went over every inch of my walls, ceilings and woodwork to patch any imperfections, they caught stuff I even missed. Also, they scraped the horrible popcorn stuff off of my ceilings, that in and of itself was a dramatic improvement. I think their quote was completely reasonable and worth every penny! They probably increased the value of my home by twice that.

The quality of the work is excellent. Not one drip, everything is smooth and repaired nicely and lines are very clean. The crew of three were very polite and hardworking. They were always on time and started early in the morning. The foreman on the job, Alfonso, was pleasant and easy to work with. I never felt uncomfortable having them in my home which is very important when they are in your house for a week or longer. They also were very clean and neat. Every night my house was completely cleaned up so that we could function. I have hardwood floors throughout my house and there was absolutely no problems with paint spatter or dust. And again, the quality of the work is excellent. Rick went through and inspected the job once it was close to completion. The job was completed on time. Pricing on this project was fair I thought for the quality and experience. I am very pleased and have already contacted him about another project.
