Men were on time every day and did exactly what was promised. They are efficient, cost conscious. Excellent job.

It was fabulous. They were really good and really good to work with. They did some work on my stairwell. It was all sheetrock work. They also worked in my stairwell going into my basement. They did the walls in my dining room and did a lot of work in my basement. For various reasons, I had them come back two more times to do more work.

They were great. We are very happy with the work that was done. Rick (the owner) is very responsive by phone and email. We trusted them enough to leave our key with them so they could work while we were on vacation. Rick was good to stay in touch and let us know how things were going, even letting us know that our cat was okay in our absence. He helped us to figure out what needed to be done -- and which areas were okay as they were. He pointed out some issues (like mold) that we had noticed and took care of them. The work was very well done. We'll certainly use them again.

First, we were contacted well within the three day timeframe promised. Within a few days, Rick Carter called to confirm our half-day appointment. The work began on time, was completely finished within the time allotted, and there were no additional expenses required. We could not be happier with the work performed. The worker, Sergio, was professional and took great care to keep any drywall dust to a minimum and confined to the workspace. At one point, he wrapped himself into the work area behind a sheet of plastic. He vacuumed the areas following the work and cleaned up completely. Rick Carter checked the work as it neared completion and was available in the event that we had any concerns. Would definitely recommend and would contact for additional work that we might need. Very satsified!

Very professional group. Showed up early but waited unit the agreed upon time to knock on the door. Worked all day and was extremely thorough. I plan on using them again in the future.

They cannot do this service in the time frame that I need. There are also additional costs that I cannot afford at this time.

Deni arrived punctually each morning and worked continually to complete the tasks. He removed wallpaper - 4 layers in some places as I had started the project and removed some of the wallpaper - washed the walls to remove the wallpaper paste, primed, patched and painted the walls in the bathroom. He also patched, sanded and painted some settling cracks in various walls in the house. He is very neat and cleaned up the area at the end of the day and at the completion of the job. He had worked in the house before and remembered where everything was. Thanks for another job well done!

Rick came out to walk through our home and provide estimates for the different work we were thinking of having done. He was polite, punctual, and gave us a detailed/itemized estimate so we could pick and choose based on budget, time, etc. The estimate ended up being very reasonable. Once we decided what we wanted done, Sergio came out and really did great work. I was particularly impressed where he patched water-damaged ceiling drywall where it met a wall with wallpaper, and was able to do so and save the wallpaper. It really looks perfect. Sergio was also polite and punctual, and we are very happy with the work. To top it all off, the total cost ended up being less than the estimate. Would definitely use Accents again.

After a hidden leak was found and repaired, we were left with nearly two dozen holes cut out of our walls and ceilings in various shapes and sizes. We were due to close on the sale of our house in less than 3 weeks, so we needed someone who could do a good job and get it done quickly. I am so glad we called Accents Professional Painting and Wallpapering. Rick was headed out of town but was kind enough to stop by before he left to see exactly what needed to be done. We discussed the scope of the work and the best way to handle it, and Rick quoted me a good price. He was very clear about what we needed to do beforehand (like shutting off the power to the laundry room, and moving our washer and dryer) and said he was going to put his best guy, Sergio, on it. I had seen Sergio mentioned positively in other Angie's List reviews, so I was hopeful. Sergio and Ricardo were due to arrive at 8:00 a.m., and we saw them pull up a few minutes beforehand. At 8:00 on the dot, our doorbell rang, and they immediately got to work. My husband walked them through the house and showed them what needed to be done, and they were off. It seemed like every time I walked through a room they were working on, they had finished another hole--they were that fast. It was unbelievable how much they got done, and the quality of their work was excellent. They draped everything in plastic to keep the dust off, and whenever they moved something, they put it back when they were done, which made the process as non-disruptive as possible. By the end of the afternoon, all of our ugly, gaping holes were history, and the patches were sanded, primed, and ready to paint. We could not have been happier with the results, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Great professional team that was always on time and courteous. They worked hard every day and were able to finish the project in a timely manner. The owner, Rick was at the job site often and was very personable and professional. I even had some hooks that were embedded in the ceiling prior to the work and I forgot to have them put back in the ceiling. Rick offered to return to the house at a later date to put them back in for me, what a great guy.

Contacted Mr. Carter near the end of May. He came over promptly, looked at area and gave an estimate. Mr. Carter was professional and a genuine nice person to work with. Due to being booked up with some large jobs, set up tentative date for mid-June. Called on the 9th to set-up for the 12th. His main drywall installer Sergio came promptly at 7:30. Mr. Carter came by a few minutes later with some accessories and minimal instructions for Sergio. Sergio promptly started to work, which was completed in an excellent manner, within the time frame. He cleaned up as he went along. Very satisfied with the outcome and would recommend the company. And would use again in the future.

Excellent! Could not have been better! I was contacted by Rick initially and scheduled a day to have the work done. When the day came Rick let me know who it would be by name, and then gave me an option for a start time. Sergio was great. He showed up right on time, and went to work right away. I showed him the big problems first and he took care of those holes in no time at all. Amazing! To my surprise he also painted the repaired areas. You cannot tell where the repair was done! I then showed him the other areas and he did all of them, and painted them too. He was very careful. He put down a tarp and ran plastic over his work to catch anything that fell. He cleaned up everything before he left. These guys are now first on the list for getting my business for inside painting.

I purchased a Big Deal because I needed drywall repair in two bedrooms and a hallway. Rick came out to look at the job and while he was there, I asked for an estimate to paint my master bedroom and hallway. He came back with what I considered to be a reasonable price. He and his guys came out on time the morning we had scheduled for repair work. They fixed all of the places that needed repairing in the master bedroom and another bedroom, painted the walls and ceiling in the master bedroom, and painted over all of the repair work in the other bedroom, although that was not in the estimate. The hallway was tricky. My child had sprayed sunscreen or some kind of lotion all over the wall in the hallway. Another painter, recommended by a friend, had tried to get the stuff off, without success. He then covered it with some sort of primer and then painted over it, but it bled through the paint. He came out twice more and tried various things to cover the goo, but it continued to bleed through the paint. I don't know what Accents Professional Painting used to cover the mess, but so far I haven't seen any bleed through. They repainted the entire hallway. Accents finished on time and cleaned up really well. The rooms and hallway look beautiful.

Job went very well - the unit looks great. They patched several holes and cracks in the walls and put a coat of primer on before putting the final paint on. They were a bit pricey, but they tend to do larger jobs and therefore are very good at what they do. I would use them again for their quality and attention to detail.

The service was excellent. They showed up on time and the work quality came out wonderful. I highly recommend them and plan to use them again.

The workers showed up right on time. They were very meticulous in taping all the edges and putting up plastic sheeting to minimize the amount of dust that escaped from the work areas. Their work was very meticulous and professional. They cleaned up the work areas nicely before leaving. Unfortunately, some touch-up paint I had given them turned out to be a slightly lighter shade than what was on the dining room walls, even though it was supposed to be the exact same color. The owner, Rick Carter, came out promptly and corrected the problems himself. I purchased a new can of paint and he used it to repaint two walls and re-do some edging around the kitchen ceiling. I was very pleased with Accent Painting Company's work and am hiring them again to repaint some peeling skylights in our home. I would strongly recommend Accent Painting to anyone.

Scheduling was really good and they were fast; completing the work in four hours and cleaned up well after themselves.

Their service was great! It took more time than the deal offered which I expected. I made an additional $80 to complete the job. The work looks wonderful. He asked me if I wanted him to prepare the wall for painting. I told him that we wanted to remove the popcorn ceiling first which they might do. They got in touched with me regarding scheduling and the time was convenient. They had a lot of other jobs, but I was in no rush. The son of the owner Denny did the work. He is a nice guy and I am extremely pleased with the service.

I was told that this job could not be completed in 4 hours, so I went ahead and stripped wallpaper off of the bathroom walls. The remainder of the work for one bathroom took 8.5 hours. He did do a good job.

I bought one of Angie's list specials from Accent...$125 for 4 hours of wallpaper removal. It turns out that this was what I later found out was a "bait and switch." I was told by Richard Carter that wallpaper removal would probably take more than 4 hours, and that it would cost $30/hr. Ok, but I had no idea that it would take 20 1/2 hours!!!! 3 days!!! Richard had his son, Denny, do the work. Denny admitted to me that he was slow. Talk about slow...he was pulling tiny little pieces of wallpaper off the wall. I asked about the spray wallpaper remover that I used for the other portion of the bathroom, and Denny said that he COULD use it, but it MAY damage the carpet. I said OK, but really had my doubts. When I got the final bill, I wish that I had tackled the job myself.
