My neighbor told me that their house was infested with termites. Because our houses are close in proximity and situated in a wooded setting, I was very concerned that we may have termites as well. I looked on Angies List and found good reports on Triangle Pest Control as well as a coupon for a free inspection. Eli Coburn came out right on time which was very important to me because I had a short break, as I teach Middle School Social Studies in Chapel Hill. He immediately began inspecting my garage and crawl space. Within 20 minutes he had determined that we did not need any applications at this time. He also took time with me to walk around my house as I showed him various other items that I was concerned about. He 100% identified issues that other people had identified and gave similar ideas of what to address and what not to address. His professionalism and knowledge assured me that he took great care to help me with my particular situation rather than trying to make a sale. THANK YOU!

They called and scheduled the service and came to the house on time. After performing a thorough inspection, the technician explained what he was going to do and what future services they would perform if any termites or pests were found. We live in an older home and were relieved that they found no termite infestation. The technician placed sensors around the perimeter of the house and inside the house. He was very polite and explained things to us in a professional manner. We look forward to continuing with service from Triangle Pest Control.

Other than when I scheduled the appointment, they didn't try to talk me into a long-term pest service agreement. We had seen a couple of large beetles in our garage and beneath our house. Once I purchased the deal, they contacted me promptly to schedule and were out within a few days according to my schedule. The gentleman came out, did a complete pest control beneath the house and throughout the house. He set some cardboard moustraps in the garage (which have not yet been filled - thank goodness). We haven't seen any beetles or bugs since. Great job!

I signed a contract with them at a special Angie's List rate. I am very pleased with their services. They are very nice to deal with.

First, the inspector came. He did a thorough inspection, including crawling all around our entire crawlspace, which another company's rep. did not do. He explained our different options and taught me a few things about termites that I didn't know. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Also, I thought his estimate was done very thoroughly and accurately. At first the quoted price for treatment was a little high for us, but then we found a BigDeal offer from the company that made it much more attractive. The technician who treated our home was right on time. He worked almost non-stop and it took him about 5 hours. There was one spot that he didn't treat--I wish he'd asked me about it before completing the job, but that was a minor issue. He cleaned up well after the job; I did have to sweep afterwards because of the dust from drilling the concrete, but you can't expect them to do everything. Overall I feel the company is very professional and I would recommend them to others.

I like them; they have been pretty good. I was having problems with deer ticks but he came out, he was very friendly, and he explained all of the services that they offer. They spray outdoors during the summer months and then they stop until the winter. I haven’t compared prices much, but from what I understand they are pretty good.

I got them off Angie’s list and I had an Angie’s list deal. They were very good. They were actually early and they called to let me know that they will be coming early. I explained to them what I was seeing. The person was very professional and knowledgeable. They were very good. They honored their warranty because I saw more bugs within their 30-day period. They came back to spray. Their deal was much better than what I expected. They did not charge me anything for their second visit. I will use them in the future if needed.

They are listed on Angie's List. They are no. 1, that's why I wanted those services that I used; but I researched the other ones. I was very impressed by the fact that they gave a free inspection on my property, and in fact, they said that I didn't have anything. Typically, any person would say that we have a bug problem regardless of whether we have a bug problem or not. In our case, the guy came out and said, we don't have a bug problem and he cannot give me a service. He said we don't have bedbugs, which I thought we have. Based on that, I would recommend them and I liked the guy. He seemed to be a pretty good guy. He was trustworthy. He was very professional.

Technician was on time and very professional. All services were performed with care and explanations given for each process. All unwanted pests were eliminated within the first 10 days after service was performed.

They were extremely pleasant and arrived time. I was very satisfied their work, and I experienced no negative issues with them whatsoever.

From the beginning of this experience, this company has been courteous and professional. I had to change the date a few times and they were patient and understanding. Somehow the final appointment got removed from the system because of closeout, but when I called that day, the rep apologized for the problem and was able to call and have a rep to come out later that afternoon! The rep was very professional and knowledgeable on the product being used.....and I didn't have to ask him to put on 'booties' for their shoes! He took the time to explain the effects of the product and what I would expect to see as well as followup calls. Overall I was very pleased with the decision to go with this company after moving from a very well known pest control company

The exterminator was courteous and efficient, answering questions about the chemicals and the contract and responding to our concerns about pets and babies.

My experience with Triangle Pest Control Company went very well. The technician that came out was very professional. He was courteous. He was very good. He did very good work at a very reasonable price. I would use them again in the future.

The people at Triange are all very friendly and kind. Ryan, the worker that came to my home the most often, was always upbeat and shared a lot of helpfel tips with me. He knew his trade well, made me feel at ease and really educated me about pest control (especially ant control).

My house had a termite issue about 5-6 years ago with the previous owners. Not alot of damage was done but it was enough that I was worried about them returning...so I bought their termite package. They drilled holes in my garage floor and around the perimeter of my house and injected Termite killing solution into the holes. They then covered the holes up with a concrete patch. They did a great job. I was a little dissapointed that they were a little sloppy with the patchwork they did ( they didnt cleanup the patchwork as much as they could have but it wasnt a big deal. I went in with my pressure washer and was able to get up any residue which didnt belong there. To some degree I should also claim responsibility. I had noticed the day they came out that they didnt do a perfect cleanup job and I should have said something when they were there (which I didnt). But again, it wasnt a big deal. The remaining residue was easy to pull up with my pressure washer. They did a good job and I would definitely use them again.

The service man said he will draw up a contract and send it right out. After 3 weeks I called the company and my husband spoke to the service man and again we asked for a contract to be sent out. He again said it would becoming shortly. After another 3 weeks I finally called again and asked to speak to the owner, Donnie. He apologized and assured me that a service man would come out immediately. Another service man did come out and look over the situation and draw up a contract and scheduled the job to be done. It was done today and everything seems to be fine. The men that did the job, knew what they were doing and I'm happy with the results.

We have been using Triangle Pest Control for more than 1 year and there are fewer bugs making it through the outside barrier into the house. With high humidity and a lot of mulched or natural areas, we are prone to spiders and ants. We haven't seen as many since they began the preventative treatment. The tech, Jamie, is always professional and gets the job done quickly.

Triangle Pest Control sent their technician, Jamie, to do a free termite and pest inspection on a home my family just purchased. Jamie did not find any termites and was great about answering all the questions I had and providing me with information about Triangle's pest control and termite monitoring services. However, there was no hard sale and I appreciated Jamie's knowledge and easy approach. Definitely will call Triangle Pest Control when we need termite or pest control services.

This was a very positive experience. The fellow that came down was very specific and very informative about what they were looking for. He found the termites. They came out and do more than what is required. They drill through every single cement block in the house because they said if they don't they up having to come back. I was surprised when they were drilling holes in my front porch, but they filled them in with cement and you can hardly see it. I have an organic garden in the back and they were very good not to put the pesticides in that part of the house. We also had termites on the inside of the wall by my garage doors. They said when I was going to have that wood taken out to call them and they will spray some foam in those areas. They said there would be no charge for that.

Short summary is, the actual service performed is satisfactory - the service techs are very nice and professional, and it did improve our bug situation, although we did have to call them back twice between services as we continued to have bug problems, and our roach problem did not seem to really get solved until I sprayed with a $10 can of roach spray myself. However, I can't recommend this company to anyone else, as they suddenly tried to increase my quarterly charge without discussing it with me or even notifying me - besides an email bill for the "extra" amount, with no explanation of what it was for, or that my quarterly charge was increasing. I should note that while I gave a "B" for professionalism, I would split that up, the service techs should get an "A" for professionalism, but their billing should get a "D" for increasing my quarterly charges without discussing it with me or even notifying me that my quarterly charges were increasing. When I initially called them, I happened to get the owner on the phone (I knew he was the owner as I'd read several reviews here stating his name, so I asked if he was the owner and he confirmed it). He was very nice and professional and he described his different services to me, and we settled on the quarterly "Green service" plan. He did not try to upsell me to it, he said the normal service plan was fine, but I prefer "green" products, especially with pesticides; and he said it was just as effective as the normal service, so I went with it. He quoted me $100 initial service, and then $85 quarterly thereafter. One big selling part of the plan was their "guarantee" which was free service in-between each quarterly visit if we have any bug problems. The first treatment was great, they sent someone out who cleared all the spider webs, sprayed inside and out, and out roach problem was much better - we saw a few dead/dying ones for a couple days and then very few for a month or so. The second treatment was fine too, they sprayed outside but since we didn't have a problem did not treat inside. It was fine for a couple months, but as spring started some roaches started getting back in; since it was around a month to our next treatment we didn't call them to come treat us early. The next treatment was similar to the previous one although they did spray inside since we were seeing some roaches; however only a couple weeks or maybe a month after the treatment we started having more roach problems, so we called them to come back and treat again. They did come back and spray inside and put treatment paste in the kitchen cabinet hinges. They couldn't spray outside as it was raining, however. Only a week or two later, we had more roach problems, and so called them back again. They came back and sprayed/treated inside again some, and sprayed outside. A few days later I could see there were still many roaches on my back deck at night, so I sprayed the entire length of my deck where it meets the house myself with a store-bought can of roach spray, which appeared to kill most or all of them, and we've had virtually no problem since. A couple months later, it was time for the next quarterly visit, and they arrived and cleaned the spider webs but asked if we had any bug problems inside and I said not really (since we didn't) so they only sprayed outside. He also advised me of a wasp problem out back and how I could get rid of it, which I appreciated. He gave me a visit card that said the charge was $85 (as I expected). HOWEVER, only around 1 week later I got an additional charge on my credit card for $15. I didn't understand this and called them to figure out what the charge was for, and they told me I should have been getting charged $100 quarterly and they didn't know why the original person (i.e. the OWNER) told me I would only get charged $85 quarterly. I told them that is what I was told, that is what I'd been charged, and I didn't understand why they decided to suddenly increase my charge to $100 - without even telling me! They offered to take $5 off my last service but I was honestly quite offended that they thought they could try to bump up my quarterly charge without discussing it with me at all, and I canceled the service.

My husband said it went well. We haven't had the pest problems this year that we had last summer.

They were professional, but their price was the highest of six other companies. He said something like "the price is the price, but it is good quality." Seeing them was a waste of my time.
