Philip Muniz came and inspected the job. problem was water leaking through wall when rain is blowing against house. he offered two alternatives. plus he offered that the back porch downspouts should be connected to a closed pipe and connected to the existing system. i chose to go the full thing. Sat I called and said lets go. He wanted to come by Monday and sign contract and collect 1/2 estimate. I told him that our bank requires three days to transfer money and that meant Thu. He came anyway and started work with a signed contract but no money. he and Dennis worked HARD all day and achieved most work on Wed. Finished Thur. When estimating work to be done below ground there are many unknowns. Muniz encountered unexpected things but proceeded and worked around them. I am impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. I watched most of the work and photographed the whole operation. No problem with Benjamin Franklin.

After we drained and flushed our 16-year-old water heater, it began to leak. That evening, after I cleaned up the mess (my shop floor has never been cleaner!), I called the Benjamin Franklin plumbers after reading reviews on Angie's List. Since it wasn't a total catastrophe, I scheduled them to come the next day, although I was asked if I wanted immediate response. I gave them my contact information and Richard, their technician, showed up a little ahead of time the next day and sat down with us to explain the scope of the job, all costs, and warranty info. After getting our okay, he left and returned with a new tank and materials within the hour. Considering that we live a 20-minute drive from town, that was close enough to immediate response for me. His work was efficient and professional. My background is in industrial maintenance, so I noted nice little touches like the new plumbing was square and plumb, neat soldering, removal of excess flux, and a careful visual inspection after each joint was finished. After the installation was complete and the air bled from the water lines, he filled the tank and made a thorough follow-up inspection to check for leaks. The tank had a manufacturer's defect at a welded joint, so he called for a replacement, which was delivered shortly after he drained and removed the new tank. The new installation was done, the system reinspected, and the work site cleaned before he left. As I indicated in the ratings, I consider the work done, from initial call to the completed job very professional. Everyone involved was personable and made me feel like my situation was important to them. Although their rates are kind of pricey, I think I got fair value for my money. Remember, you get what you pay for.

small leak in water heater outfeed pipe developed due to PH of well water over time. Called these folks to do the repair.

We would have them do something else if we needed them. The guy was very nice and knowledgeable, and he gave us written quotes. He explained things nicely, delivered on time, and did things how he said he would do it. The price was moderate.

It was a very positive experience and they arrived on time. They told me upfront what the outdoor faucet would cost. I surely would recommend them to other people.
