RICE TOYOTA

Rice has serviced my Toyota since before the year 2000. I won't drive anything but a Toyota.

Very pleased with everything about them. I think they are excellent. I've written a letter for them one time. They are also very close to us. We started going to them when we bought our first Toyota, 15 years ago. We were very pleased with the car and service so we continued to buy Toyota and use their service. We were very pleased. Their pricing is very reasonable to me anyway. Their responsiveness is very good. Punctuality, I'd give them a "B", because it's kind of hard. If we call we can make an appointment, there are times when for changing the oil we drive in early in the morning and get it right away. They are very good.

We have always found them a good effective dealership.

Price was part of my warranty. I have no complaints. I bought my car from them. They gave me a complete rundown of everything they did and what was check and told me to call them if I needed anything.

We have been using them for a number of years.

They explained everything they did and what might need to be done. The workers were fine. I usually just drop the car off and pick it up later in the day.

I had bought a used Prius from them. I had problems with the low MPG (34 - 36 mpg) and each time I took it in they gave me the runaround. Never treated me with respect, just kept changing their story as to why the MPG was so low (e.g. tires not inflated enough, tires too inflated, too cold out, too hot out, etc.) They ignored me when I went in to inquire about a trade-in. I would never deal with them again.

It took them about three weeks to complete all the repairs. My Toyota looks excellent, you cannot even tell I was in an accident. I also take my vehicle there for routine maintenance. I have been using their services since my first Toyota which I purchased in 1996.

They forgot to reset the maintenance button and we had to do it. 2010 Honda Pilot. They get the work done in a timely manner and are very conveniently located from work. We bought the Pilot used and feel comfortable with them providing general maintenance on it. We have used Rice's for many years, including 4 previous Toyotas.

I took it to another service shop that correctly diagnosed the problem as a worn-out alternator. They replaced it for about $400. Both the engine and the A/C have worked fine for the past four months.

We got in the habit of going for routine maintenance for our Toyota after buying it about 7 years ago (not from the same dealership). Although the quality of the work seemed to be OK, we just found that the service, overall, was impersonal and that requests to look at small things outside of regularly scheduled service items were ignored. For example, we asked can someone clean the battery terminals which had obvious build-up, while they're doing the usual scheduled oil/tire rotation service - this appeared to have been noted when we came in, but that extra request wasn't done. Fortunately, we were not charged for that work, but we just got the sense that if it wasn't broken or in the manufacturer's maintenance schedule they weren't really paying much attention to us when we came in. As far as dealer-based service departments go, this may be a typical experience, but after more than one occasion of receiving impersonal service we started going to a smaller mechanic for our regular maintenance needs and have been much happier as a result.

It took a little longer than expected to get the repairs started and completed, but the repair department did a great job fixing up the damage. We were very happy with the repair job, overall.

Rice provided recall service for three items on my 2008 Prius: steering shaft, floor mat, and electric water pump. They have a very efficient drop-off process; drive-in and someone is working with me right away. I can choose to wait or use their courtesy service to take me to work. Complimentary car wash after the service is a nice touch. I admit to having built-in suspicion of auto service from car dealships. Rice is the exception. Trust them enough to recommend them to my 87-year old father for his service. They don't suggest unnecessary work.

Good quality work, as always. Been a Rice customer (off and on) for many years. Prices seem a little high, but the work done is always done well, and have never felt I was being sold unnecessary services. Have purchased several cars from Rice, both new and used, and have felt the prices paid were very fair.

I own a Lexus, not a toyota, and they still serviced my car! They are great and they're very accommodating. They fix the issue with your car the first time! Their prices are very reasonable and have never been shockingly high. I've been going to them for the last 10 years and I'll keep going to them!

When I arrived at about 10:05 he was ready to perform this service. After about 45 minutes he took me into the shop and physically showed me what repairs had to be done. He also gave me a printed, itemized estimate of the repairs recommended, along with the prices of each item. There was no charge for this service. I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the shop, the friendly attitude, and the willingness to physically show me where the recommended repairs were. They were very good in terms of being quick. We never had any problems with them not doing it well, but they were pricey.

Had to wait about an hour, but that is reasonable for a busy dealership. Work was done fine.

They did a good job of repairing it but it wasn't very timely due to circumstances beyond anybody's control. My insurance covered for the repair because I had a deductible. I would use them in future if needed.

Unlike a lot of other car garages, I like that Rice Toyota doesn't try to charge or push any more work than what you request for them to work on. They also have same-day service and get the job done very quickly.

I have been using there service for about 5 years now. Every since I bought my car from there. They have a nice waiting room. They are reasonably prompt for this type of work.
