Pella Windows and Doors

The salesmen was very professional and patient. I bought a wood casement window that looks great in my kitchen!

I looked at 4 different window companies to get quotes. Champion Windows, World of Windows, Mr. Rogers Windows, and Pella Windows from the Pella Store. After a lengthy review it came down to Mr Rogers and the Pella Windows. I decided on the Pella "Impervia" fiberglass replacement windows instead of vinyl or wood clad windows. I've had previous experience with the Pella fiberglass windows in this house and have experience in 2 other houses with Pella windows. I wish the warranty was as " straightforward" and comprehensive as Mr Rogers, but Pella has taken care of one other window previously to my satisfaction. The 2 things that sold me over Mr Rogers Windows were $2,500 less in cost and 0% financing on the windows for 4 years. To me this was the deal maker! Pella does not use there own employees for the window install. This did make me nervous. Also, the installer did not return my phone call for over 2 weeks do discuss where to start, how many men were coming, etc. About 5 days before the install Tony, the installer called me answered all my questions in a 15 minute conversation. I'm a "neat freak" and a detailed person, so I wanted to know how to keep the house as clean as possible, which room I wanted Tony to start in and how we could work together and communicate very well. The 3 man crew arrived at 8:30 am on Monday morning, we did the back kitchen windows first, moved to the second story front windows next. The next day they arrived at 8:30am and completed the 8 downstairs windows by 4pm on Tuesday afternoon.One gentleman worked and stayed on the inside while Tony and another gentleman worked on the outside fascia and install. The windows were centered, weatherproofed, weather sealed and the debris was cleaned up at the end of each day. The bad wood in the sill corners were cut out and replaced and sealed, and the windows were tested each time for balance and window opening and closing ease. I was there for each window install and watched the installation of weather stripping and weather sealing of the windows. This is very important! The installers used the Pella Caulk and the latest and greatest insulation material to keep out the heat and the cold. This was a big deal to me. The installation quality is just as important as the quality of the replacement window. The installer demonstrated the ease of opening and closing the window as well as the ease of "cleaning" the outside and inside for the placement windows as well. Although the communications with Tony, the installer did not start out a well as I had hoped, the ending project worked out fine. Based on my 2 days of closely working with these three gentlemen, when it's time to replace the last 12 windows, I would be happy to work with Tony and his crew again. Its been 2 weeks since the install. My wife and I notice how much quieter the rooms are where the new windows are installed and no drafts or leakage. I wish I could have afforded to replace all 27 windows at once. Also, Mike the inside installer did such a great job cleaning the inside and outside windows from the inside, I'm considering having him clean my windows every year! Overall, I'm very happy with my decision to buy the Impervia windows by Pella, get the 0% financing, and have Tony and his gentlemen complete the install vs someone else.

Excellent custom service, beginning with sales rep visit to discuss options & explain the process. Later 2 reps came to precisely check measurements. The installation went just as expected, and was finished in a timely manner. Many visitors here have complimented how beautiful the doors look, & how easily they operate. Since this is an older home, with some settling, it has been wonderful to have these patio doors fit so well, and we have been enjoying them a lot. The price was higher than getting the doors other places, I know, but the installation process & fit of the doors make it worth the extra.

Pella products are superior. Their installers are first rate professionals. They guarantee their installation and respond promptly when adjustments are required. They are a bit pricey but the cost is worth the price. I have all Pella windows and doors in my home and would not use another supplier.

Overall, the experience went very well. They were very prompt, clean, and tidied up after themselves. They did a really good job!

It did not, not paying 60% more for a product.

There was not a lot of pushing. The sales reps basically let the product sell itself. Once the order was placed, the installation all went flawlessly. We were not able to be there when the delivery or installation began,but was able to allow the contractors to enter and complete the work. Was very satisfied with the entire experience and will probably use them to replace two entry doors this spring.

They did not do any work for me, they had good customer services and a good instillation crew, I considered them right up to the end, and I went in a different direction. I did not like the product configuration that they had.

I had seen them at a home show and I liked their product, but I ended up going with another company. The presentation was really good. The sales guy, Andy was very nice, but I liked the products of the other company better and they were cheaper too. The door was $5500 and the windows were $5500. It worked out to $11000. They were pretty much comparable. I also had some extra built-in windows on the door which I did not really need. The guy even called back a couple of times. He was right on time for the appointment. I would rate their price a B if I'm trying to watch my money.

The salesman was professional, prompt and clearly explained the product. He followed up but did not hassale us when we decided to go in a different direction.

I had a very good experience with them from start to finish. I picked all my windows. They quoted and came out and measured. They came out what they said they were going to come out. I had the installer come out and he did an absolutely fabulous job. He came and he worked till 6’O clock in the night and came back the next day. I didn’t have a single problem with them. I would use them again in the future if need be.

The windows were wooden windows that had wooden interior and aluminium exterior. The reason that I went with them was because I had investigated some of the window replacement companies. They all wanted to just pop the window out of the frame and put the new window inside that frame which would give me a smaller window. I wanted the entire window frame to be taken out as it was an old house and I was concerned about the rot damage. Pella Window Store was the only company around that was willing to do that. They were probably a little more expensive than the other stores but they were worth every penny of it. I was very happy with them. The installer was incredible. He was very efficient and fast that it was just unbelievable. He was a perfectionist and did a very good job. Their price was high but it was worth for what I paid. I will definitely use them again in the future. We have a floater room that has entirely sliding glass doors and we could not afford to do everything at once. I will definitely call them for that.

Our experience with Pella was great from the intial in house estimate to the in store consultation, the final in house consultation and especially the installation process. No glitches anywhere. The product is the most expensive we considered but of the highest quality. We are glad we spent the extra money. We love the new door!

It went very smoothly and was completed inside of four hours.

We had some problems getting the windows to come in. They were damaged a number of times. They would order them and they were damaged and they would order again and they would be damaged. Once we finally got the windows and they were installed they were fine. We didn't compare prices with anyone else. We might use them in the future.

Pella Windows & Doors exceeded all of our expectations. They are fantastic. The salesperson was extremely knowledgeable and he followed up with everything accurately and thoroughly. Everything was taken care of. The person who installed the doors did a great job. They cleaned up their work area when they finished and they were very professional.

They have an excellent product, excellent workmanship, and everything was stand out. They are very expensive.

I think Pella did a good job and they were professional. They cost me a lot though. Many have told me that the windows in other places are at half the price that I paid Pella.

They are very well known and have branches nationwide. I explained my situation to the representative that they sent which was that we were looking to sell our house and we needed to get it in shape. Since we didn?t know any window manufacturer we thought that repair wasn?t an option. He found a manufacturer for us, told us who it was and where they were located so that we could find a repairman. Their staff was very professional and extremely helpful. They didn?t even get to the point of giving me a quote because once they discovered what my needs were they just addressed my needs and sent me away.
