Al Curtis took my initial inquiry. Was able to provide a quote and time for the work within one hour of my first contact. He showed up himself at the agreed upon time to perform the work. Did an excellent job and took special care to insure everything was done correctly, all trim pieces were back on securely and straight, and that the car looked the same as when he started, albeit with a new windshield. I must admit, that I was very impressed. Al was very personable and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. I found him to be extremely professional and always did what he said he would, whether it was a call back or showing up on time. If I ever need this service again for any of my cars, this is the company I'm calling for sure.

I called yesterday. They picked up the phone on the first ring. We scheduled an appt. for the next day. He was out the next morning and fixed the windshield in my driveway before I was done with my morning staff meeting. I got a phone call coordinating the timing, the work was great. He was polite, professional, punctual, etc.

This was actually the second time I've used SOS. They come to your location and repair or replace the windshield. The first time (about 18 months before the date shown above) I used them, a small rock had hit the windshield and made a star crack, so the insurance company deemed it repairable. SOS came to my workplace and did a repair, that day I could barely find the spot where they fixed it, and after a couple of months (when I had forgotten the exact location of the repair), I couldn't find it when I looked for it. This was 100% covered by insurance, so it didn't cost me a penny. Then a linear crack developed at the end of Feb 2014, one of those that kept getting longer as time went on. Again, SOS came to my workplace, this time they replaced the windshield, I have $100 deductible for glass, so all I had to do was write a check for $100 to SOS. They cleaned up thoroughly after the job, no evidence of them being there inside or outside of the car, other than the brand new windshield.

Al Curtis from S.O.S Windshield did a great job replacing our windshield. He showed up on time, did a great job and cleaned up when he was done. Very professional and will use him again when we need auto glass work. Great job!

Al Curtis responded quickly to my quote request (late on a Saturday evening!) after I found his company listed on Angie's List. Though my home address was a bit outside his service area, he suggested that he perform the replacement while my car was parked at my workplace, which was closer. This turned out to be even better for me, too. Al was responsive, courteous, and professional. He worked with me through a couple of reschedules due to bad weather. The replacement happened at the exact time scheduled, took the exact amount of time projected, and cost exactly what Al estimated (FAR less than other chains with big ad campaigns). This was an ideal experience. Period. While I hope I don't have the need to do business with SOS again, I would unequivocally recommend their services to anyone.

Had a cracked windshield and called SOS. Gave a quick appointment, arrived on time and did an exceptional job paying attention to every detail and very nice gentleman as well. A++++

I've used this company twice after a horrible experience with Safelite. My wife's car had a small chip in the windshield which Safelite "fixed" and "guaranteed." A month or so later, the chip cracked. Little did we know they would only refund the cost to "fix" the chip, but we would have to pay to replace the entire windshield. This is contrary to their commercials. Anyways, we chose SOS to replace Saflite's failure, because of the other reviews and couldn't be happier. They are courteous, prompt, reliable, and professional. They call ahead to make sure you are available, and show up when they say they will. They are very easy to deal with, and are an honest company. My car also received a chip. SOS came out as soon as the rain stopped, and fixed my chip. I can't even find where the chip was! The experience and quality is night and day when comparing the two companies.

I was just finishing up forecasting our family budget for the next three months and feeling pretty good about having gotten us out of a big debt hole and onto the right track, when my husband messaged to tell me a branch had fallen on our car in the driveway and put a huge crack in the windshield. Our insurance pointed out that we paid for the bare minimum insurance and so our deductible was way too high to cover even a windshield replacement. Our renter's insurance didn't cover it. Our car warranty didn't cover it. We were on our own. The insurance company recommended the company they work with and the soonest they could see us was 2 weeks and it would be a minimum of $350! No. Just... no. So I came to Angie's List for reviews and SOS came so highly recommended that we added them to the list. Not only did they come to my husband's workplace just a few days after we called BUT they were $100 cheaper than any other estimate! They were prompt, friendly and professional and if our windshield ever cracks like that again we'll probably just shove our car off a cliff BUT if we have need to use them again we most certainly will. Side note: I initially balked at paying the annual membership to Angie's List, but it's already paid for itself. And yes you can totally use that in your marketing.

Looked them up and called but didn?t end up using them. Driver?s power window on car came loose from regulator (the power device that actually moves the window) during one of the deep freezes that was preceded by rain. Called SOS to see if they had experience with power windows or just windshields, and if experienced to see what they?d charge to fix. Since I couldn?t go to them, their trip fee was large portion of the cost and well over $100 so decided to give it a go myself. Also, in talking with them, they were pretty up front that wasn?t really something they ran into much. I appreciated the fact that they were forthcoming regarding their experience and if I ever have auto glass to replace, they'll be my first call

Al replaced the windshield on my 2003 Camry. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and also quite friendly. He did a great job despite the fact that it was a bit chilly. The glass was OEM quality.

Our Honda Civic had a crack in the windshield about 15 inches long, so it required a new windshield. I contacted S.O.S. Windshield based on reviews on Angie's List. I received a response quickly with an estimate for the repair. Al showed up promptly at the agreed upon time and finished the job in about an hour. I had a transponder attached to the cracked windshield with adhesive velcro strips, which I had decided to transfer to another car. He carefully removed the strips for me without damaging them, and I was able to reuse them with no problem. The new windshield looks great, and the windshield wipers seem to work better and more quietly than they did on the old windshield.

Great. SOS is an hour away from my home, so we agreed to meet half-way at a shopping center. Al called the day of the appointment to confirm. The meeting and the work went off like clockwork. He also told me the things I would need to do over the next 24 hours to make sure their was a good seal. Windshield looks great. I would definitely recommend him and use him again.

They came to us to fill a chip in the windshield and were cheaper than the same service by another provider. They were very flexible when our plans kept changing - nothing seemed to phase them. My husband was there so I can't comment first-hand on punctuality or professionalism, but we're pleased and would use them again.

Two points of reference on this one, I first checked Angies List and than I checked with my car dealership, where I discovered business cards for SOS. Between the great reviews in Angie's List and the very high reccomendation from Honda, this was a no brainer. Called and spoke with owner Al, reviewed the damaged windshield crack - Al suggested that from my description this will more than likely be a full windshield replacement rather than a "repair". Al gave me the necessary info to call my insurance company. Al called back within the hour, requesting directions etc ... meet up with Al the next day just before lunch at my workplace. He stated the meeting time and was there rignt on the money ... friendly and totally professional. Pricing to say the least was not an issue ... the $10.00 coupon from Angie's List also came in handy. No issues, no problems ... I would not hesitate recommending SOS Windshield to anyone in need of windshield repair or replacement.

Al was wonderful. He called to schedule the repair the day I made contact with him. Today, he was running ahead of scheduled and asked if he could come earlier. It worked great for my schedule. He was extremely organized and methodical in his work and the windshield was replaced in no time. Would definitely recommend him in the future.

I requested a quote from SOS on their website and received a call back from Al within a couple of hours. He answered my questions and scheduled an appointment for the next day at 9:00am saying he or his Johnny would be here in the morning. At 8:55 I received a phone call from Johnny who was confirming that I was home and ready for his arrival. He was courteous and professional and I was absoluely satisfied with the windshield and the installation. I would recommend this company again and again.

Professional. Experienced. Took time and care to remove old (damaged) windshield and replaced with new. Had special tools so as not to scratch/damage my car. Impressed and I am glad I used this company. Repair is still new, so I can't comment on longevity of the workmanship. Based on install and my experience with the owner, I'm sure this will be a trouble free repair. Will use again in the future. Thanks!

This company was just fantastic. He gave me an estimate over the phone, and was here the next day to do the replacement. They were very professional and courteous. They showed up on time and It took less than an hour for the replacement to be completed. I would definitely do business with them again.
