I contacted Richard after another contractor didn't keep his promise, thinking that the job was not big enough for him and didn't even bother to let me know. Richard came on time and did very clean and excellent work. I highly recommend him.

He was very good. He went to work on my list. Everything was completed. he even went out to Lowes to buy parts.

I was very pleased with the work. There were missing pieces or problems with the porch light and faucet and I had to get new fixtures while Richard and his assistant were working. The drain assembly that came with the faucet could not be installed due to the shape of the sink so Richard ordered a pop-up assembly to match the faucet finish and installed it at a later date.

Talked to Richard on Monday 4/17/2017. I explained to him the nature of the work needing done and he indicated he would like to come out to provide an estimate. I inquired as to when he would be able to start work on the job if hired and he said pretty immediately. We agreed upon an appointment at 4:00 on Wednesday 4/19/2017. Richard never showed up for the appointment. I called to make sure he could find the address but there was no answer and the mailbox was full so could not leave a message. I am unsure how someone this unprofessional earns an A and award acknowledgement from Angie's List. I think Angie needs to take more care with her grading system.

Richard was very punctual, pleasant and helpful. He brought along two co-workers--Manolo and Alex, who were just as pleasant. All my chores were completed very nicely. Richard frequently asked me to check what was done to see if I was satisfied. My list is finally done! I'm already starting my next list, and I will certainly call Richard again.

We needed a lot done! With two working parents and two small kiddos left us short on time but the projects kept piling up. We had quite the list for Richard and boy did he deliver. First, he was great about making sure he understood the scope of the work and had the tools to accomplish what we wanted. On the day of the job we expected Richard but we were pleasantly surprised that he had some additional workers with him. They not only did the list but they did more because of the extra hands. It was amazing it was like we had hired a genie =) They hung our chandelier, drywall replaced, hung our double doors in our master bathroom mirror framed, deck repair, putty in our sink drains and a few other random odds and ends we simply needed addressed. To say we were pleased is an understatement. What they did in a few hours would have taken us months to knock out. Richard and his team was great. Definitely recommend!

Great--the work was performed well and I have no complaints at all. I wish I had had more projects to get done at the time!

Richard was creative and figured out a way to install a baby gate that didn't quite fit. He quickly completed miscellaneous tasks, and he had a helper that did a great job repairing our garage and deck.

It went very well. It stopped the leak.

Very courteous, professional And arrived on time, even called to say he was on his way. Will definitely hire again!! Very pleased with outcome of all the work.

Mr King and his assistant were great to work with an did an outstanding job. I would definitely recommend them to others and hope to work with them again on future projects.

This company is awesome. Excellent work. They showed up on time and they were very thorough. They did everything we asked them to do and I would highly recommend them.

I called Mr. King because his reviews were positive. He answered promptly but said he was busy with a project, would have to check his calendar and would call me back later that day to set up an appointment. His return call came a day later than promised and he apologized for the delay. We discussed the scope of work and he asked if work would start at the appointed time. I said that I preferred to get an estimate first and allow time to get materials before staring work. We agreed on a date and time for him to stop by to look over the project, but he failed to show up at the promised time or to even to call or leave a text message with a reason he could not make it. I will take my business elsewhere.

What an exceptional experience! I had my listed ready when he arrived. Mr. Richard King worked nonstop for 6 hours to complete all t he items on my listed. He is jack of all trades. Will use him again.

I'm very satisfied with Richard's work. Kept me informed of his arrival time and he was on time. He knew what he was doing. Answered all my questions. He and his helper are hard workers. I gave him a list of things I need done for his next visit which is real soon. It's nice to find compent and knowledge people who know what they are doing. It's nice to have 90% of my Honey Do List completed.

I'm sure the service would have been amazing had I gotten to experience it. He seems to be a nice and really busy man but I feel a customer should not have to chase down a call-back, especially when they have already pre-paid for a service (and volunteered to be called back if he was currently with a customer). This is my first time on Angie's List so I may be using the app wrong by not calling first to verify he would actually be available to schedule a service. Lesson learned. I ended up requesting a refund since its been a full business day and I have not been a priority for a call yet. The deals should communicate that he does not work on the weekends and prefers not to work in the evenings in addition to usually being booked out for a week at a time. That could have saved us both time, money and unfortunately this review that I felt needed to be stated. No hard feelings, just suggestions for new customers who have time sensitive projects. Positives: He did answer the phone each time I called to follow up, he was just too busy with current customers for me to feel comfortable staying on the line. He does sound like a nice person to work with, I just wish we had.
