In response to this review. THESE ARE THE FACTS: This job was completed in April 2010. The total job cost was $6,300, of which we have ONLY been paid $1,600. The general contractor still owes us $4,700 which we have been unable to collect due to contractor going out of business with subsequent bankruptcy. In June of 2010 we were called to the home and did perform a service call despite not having been paid. We have never had another request for a service call. Per LG; a contractor does NOT have to be LG certified to install residential mini-splits. The only requirement is to be a licensed HVAC contractor which we are. We regularly install and service mini-split systems and have many satisfied customers.Service Provider Response
We were surprised to see the customer's review as we had no phone record of him calling our office regarding his charges and we were unaware he was unsatisfied with the charges. We have since tried to contact the customer and left him a message on Monday, June 3rd, but have not heard back from the customer as of June 6, 2013. Prior to going to the customer's home we quoted him $110/per system for a thorough service maintenance, plus parts, additional labor or refrigerant costs if needed. Customer requested the service maintenance's for his units after 3pm which we accommodated. When we arrived the customer told us he believed one system was low on refrigerant which it was and gave us authorization to added the 2# needed. The refrigerant was $52/pound. His total charge was $324 without any coupons or discounts. We would be happy to discuss this further with the customer if he would like to call our office. It is always our desire to have satisfied customers and we go out of our way whenever possible to make this happen.Electrical & Gas piping
