We have an older home so they had to figure out how to reconfigure it to put in another unit upstairs and replace the one downstairs. They had to take out all the old ductwork and put in all new. They were absolutely fantastic and we would recommend them to anyone. They cleaned up after themselves. They were timely and came on time when they said they would be here. They didn't expect any money until they were totally complete. They are just on it and they were very dependable. They were great and we had no complaints. The price was good for what I got and what they had to do.

Very Nice People. Kind, courteous. Initial call for routine service was made. They came two days later. Price was reasonable. Nothing shady that I was aware of. I would use their services again.

For approximately 6 months the circuit breaker connected to my outdoor a/c unit was tripping. After visits from two separate HVAC companies, the problem continued. I scheduled a visit with Bass and the technician discovered the problem to be a faulty compressor in about 15 minutes. The diagnostic fee was $69. A separate visit was scheduled to replace the compressor and fortunately they were able to complete the repair while I was away at work. They timed the repair so that they would be finished by the time I returned home from work (about 5:30pm). The technician explained the repair that was done & also was able to answer my questions about the job. The technician was professional and friendly. I didn't compare prices for this type of repair with other HVAC companies so I don't know what the going rate is for replacing a compressor, which means its difficult to judge the fairness of the price. The final price of the repair includes a 10% discount coupon that I downloaded from their website. Luckily, the compressor that was replaced was still under the manufacturer warranty (the unit was installed 3 years ago from new construction). If the compressor had not been under warranty, the repair would have been even more expensive. It appears that Bass are specialist in the HVAC field, so I had confidence that they weren't guessing at what the problem was, but KNEW what the problem was. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I had called them and another company to see if I could have someone come out ASAP. My heat had gone out that morning and it was a cold day. They called back before the other company and had someone out here in 30 minutes or so. They had two repairman come and they were very thorough. They found the problem and got the new part as soon as they could. They were here for about an hour and a half. They explained everything very clearly, since I didn't know much about heating and cooling systems. The part they put in has a year long warrantly and my husband and I were overall very satisfied with their work. We would definitely have them back here again. The other company didn't call me back until 4:30 PM that evening when I had originally called them at 8:30 AM.

We had to replace two 14 year old HVAC systems within a month of purchasing our home. We knew from the inspection that they would need to be replaced soon, but we did not realize exactly how soon. From the start the systems we had did not cool and dehumidify properly, and we had laready had the warranty company out once to do repairs (to no avail). Bass was incredibly responsive when we requested a quote - Eddie came out the same day to do an estimate. Provided numerous options for replacement of both upstairs and downstairs systems. Unfortunatly because of the way homes are built in NC, we had no choice but to replace our two complete HVAC systems with another two systems rather than zoning as we had initially hoped. I debated back and forth between a "B" for price becasue it was so costly, but it is not really Bass's fault - you get what you pay for afterall. The company did work with us on zero interest financing, rebates, and military discount. Overall, they did everything they could to make sure we were getting what we paid for. The installation team was very professional, courteous, and did great work. Eddie came out and checked on the crew as they got started, which we very much appreciated. Bass performed daily quality checks to ensure the installation was going well, and went over and above to make sure the systems were balanced and level with our clay and sand soil. They even performed a small soil stabilization! Once the systems were installed and we found that there was mold and mildew in the vents, Bass was very responsive in getting us a quote for replacement of the duct system, and completed the wrok in a full day less than they anticipated. Bass also made all arragenements for the city inspector to come out, and we were not surprised but pleased to find that the system was installed perfectly, and that the city inspector himself would always advise people to use Bass based on their quality of work and quality of systems they sell. We purchased two high efficiency systems, that we already had experience with from our last home so we were already sold on them. Though we have not yet seen the cost savings (it has not been long enough) here in Fayetteville, we saw an incredible cost savings in our last home, so we know we will be happy with the systems. They are a hefty price, but they really are worth it to protect the investment of our home. Bass understands this, and worked with us to ensure the models they reccomended were of the quality we wanted, but they did not take advantage of our previous experience and simply reccomend the most costly system. Overall we were incredibly satisfied with them and will ALWAYS go to them with our HVAC needs!
