TROSA Moving

We knew about them through word of mouth. They moved us from one house to another. They moved all the furniture and boxes. They were very professional and careful. They were all very knowledgeable on how to move things. They took things in and out of very tight spaces without damaging anything. They seemed to be relatively careful and they were polite about all of it compared to some of the other companies. They were just very professional. I think they are a non profit group and they work with recovering alcoholics and put them back to work while they are currently going through their counseling. As long people follow the counseling they tend to stay there and it helps with a lot of clients working. A lot of the people we spoke to feel positive about the job they have. They are reasonably priced. We have used them twice and both times we really liked them a lot.

I have used them multiple times. They are very reliable, and their prices are very competitive. They are hard workers and come from a program that I think should be supported. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

They were all great. She has lots of expensive furniture and they took great care of everything. They also happily moved things around in the new apartment several times while we tried to figure out where to put stuff!

They are community-based. They use people that have been in prison; they must be in a halfway home or something new. They were very nice and efficient. They were just right for the price. They were nice, respectful people. They took care in handling our stuff; we didn't have any damage or problems. They were prompt. The price was reasonable.

They were perfect and did a good job.

There were 4 guys assigned to our move and they each were polite, punctual, and quite professional. We bought them subs for lunch and they were so grateful. They were respectful of us, our home, our pets, and our belongings. I was very impressed with the care they took to make the process as convenient as possible. We have also used them more recently for landscaping services (a different division) and have been quite pleased.

TROSA was excellent in every way! Their communication was excellent, all phone calls were very professional and they followed-up when necessary. They provided a free estimate and the price was very close to the estimate. They also sell boxes FYI (both used and new) in addition to other packing supplies for a reasonable cost. On moving day the movers showed up a little late, but they called ahead to let us know that, it was less than a half hour anyway. I much appreciated their call. Once they arrived they were very fast, they worked SO hard even in the August heat! All of the movers were very polite and respectful. They finished in even less time than we had anticipated. They followed-up to make sure we were happy with their service and of course we were. I can't say enough good things about this company. We will definitely use them again in the future and I highly recommend them!

Fantastic! The men arrived on time and worked quickly but carefully. They were very polite and pleasant. All of my belongings were safely moved to my new home faster than I expected. They were so conscientious that one of the movers cleaned some "schmutz" off the sidewalk so they wouldn't step in it and track it into my home! I am very happy with their service and I recommend TROSA Moving whenever I hear that someone is planning to move.

They were amazing. They did a really good job. They were incredibly priced. All the men that worked were professional, prompt, and courteous. They wrapped and moved all our stuff. They also unpacked stuff. We recommend them highly.

The four moving men arrived on schedule with a large truck. It was a hot day but all four men worked non-stop and professionally. TROSA Moving has a fixed price per hour for the number of movers desired....they do not charge for transit from their facility or transit from one location to another (like most moving companies do). Their price is very reasonable and I would hire them again for sure. The TROSA program is a non-profit organization made up of various divisions (lawn care, moving, etc) which provides residential programs and work programs for those with substance abuse issues. Good work supporting a good cause!

The price was good. It was great. Their price is very competitive. The mulch was of good quality and they were generous with it. They were pretty fast.

Wonderful. I had to reschedule because I was going to arrive late. The person scheduling the move kept in touch with me as I drove to Raleigh (from Illinois) and made sure that I would have a team to unload the truck. When the folks at TROSA realized I would be there so late that there might be a problem getting the job done before the storage facility closed for the night they added more people on to my job to get me done in time. As soon as I arrived at the storage facility the team was on the way and an hour later they were done. All of my belongings were carefully unloaded, unwrapped, and stored safely. All of the moving blankets were refolded and placed in the truck and I was on my way.

They do an excellent job. The guys are polite who do the work and they have always done a great job. The guys who do the work are recovering substance abusers. The program is two years in length. Mr. Mcdonald is the guy who runs the program. They don't leave the campus unless they are on a job. After the two years, they help these guys get a job and get reestablished.

I had used them in the past. They are very hard working. They do a very good job. They don't stand around. They get busy in work and they did a terrific job. I would use them again in the future. They did an excellent job.

It was a perfect move. They arrived on time and were ready and equipped to do the job. They moved the safe quickly and without damage to the safe or to my steps and my hardwood floors. The entire job was finished in 20 minutes. They charged me the exact amount they had previously quoted to me over the phone. I highly recommend TROSA movers to others in my area.

I have hired them on two different occasions. Their work was very good.

I was in a hurry to move when I contacted Trosa and they were quite nice about trying to fit me in. The estimators came 2 days later. They were also very nice and professional, and good about answering my questions. When I said I thought they were estimating several more hours than it would take, one of the estimators explained to me how I could save the movers time, which I thought was great. They originally couldn't schedule me til the following Monday, but shortly after I booked it, he called back to say they could move me on Sunday and would waive the Sunday surcharge since they knew I was eager to get moved. On moving day, the crew showed up 1 1/2 hours late. Apparently, the company had decided to delay the start of all the moves that morning because of the snow we'd had the afternoon before. That in and of itself was fine, I just wish the office had called to tell me that. Gary and his crew each introduced themselves to me and had me take them through the house, so they could see what would be going and ask any questions. We did the paperwork, then shortly after the guys got to work. They did a good job of handling my furniture, some of which are antique pieces and one very large piece that was tricky to navigate out the door and down the dozen stairs. Overall, the loading went much faster than they had previously estimated. Loading went as smoothly and they were quite diligent about getting my fridge into the house and even the kitchen, despite it's large size and the small doors. Altogether, the move took about hours (1.5 hours shorter than they estimated) and I was quite happy with their work.

The crew showed up at our house on time with two team members and a crew leader. The crew leader didn't do much. One of the employees did most of the truck loading and was clearly experienced and hard working. The second crew member was brand new - he worked hard but didn't have moving experience. Loading truck inexplicably took WAY longer than expected. When they arrived at our new house, the crew leader and new team member took a break - but didn't communicate to us. Unloading went somewhat faster,but it seemed that the experienced crew member was carrying the team. This was our second time using Trosa moving. The first time was a wonderful experience - with fast moving, careful, professional service - which made this time disappointing. We did follow-up with Trosa about our experience and are hopeful that the problems were addressed with the crew leader. We'll continue to recommend Trosa and would use them again.

They are doing great! Their team went in and cleaned up our property, they trimmed our hedges, planted some flowers and cleaned up any mess they made. They came on time and were very professional.

They were good but they were more expensive than I thought they would be, but it wasn't unreasonable. I chose not to go with them for maintenance because the price was too high.

We selected the "ASAP" type move, meaning that TROSA would call us in the afternoon when a crew was available after morning moves. We received a call at 3:00, the crew arrived at the pickup location at 3:30. They spent 1 hour loading, 30 minutes travel, and then 1 hour unloading. Everything was efficient, professional and friendly. They took care with a few special items that needed it. No complaints.

They arrived on time, explained everything, started the timing after I signed the agreement. They wrapped everything to prevent scratches. They did not charge me for the 30 minutes they stopped for lunch. They placed everything where I instructed. They were courteous and professional. I would use them again and have already recommended them.

One table got damaged, but they repaired it and delivered it. We were happy with them. There was problem but they took care of it immediately. I will definitely use him in the future if needed.

The price was very reasonable. They showed up late because of the time change and one of the guys overslept so that wasn't a good thing. Aside from that, they did a good job.
