This is the 3d time I've used Window Genie. Twice for windows but this was the first time they pressure washed the exterior of my 2-story house. I used an Angies List Big Deal coupon this time and normal price I think is $225(?) but even at that price I would be very satisfied with the job. The owner/manager returned my call in a reasonable time to schedule the work, and then he called again the day after the work was done to make sure I was satisfied. I wasn't home when the 2-person team arrived in the late afternoon (Chad and Brian) and they had finished 3 sides of the house when I got home at about 6:30. They worked diligently and clearly knew what they were doing. Brian explained that the stains on the gutters could not be removed by the pressure washer and they require manual rubbing. (But I knew that already because I've tried it myself.) They finished perhaps a half-hour later (the side they were working on wasn't one of the 'bad' sides) and then we chatted for maybe 10 minutes. They were very friendly and impressed me as wanting to do the best job possible. They did a great job and I intend to bring them back every spring.

The power wash of the house was very good. All areas - bricsk, aluminun siding and gutters look much, much better than before. We are well pleased with the results.

I bought pressure washing as part of one of Angie's List Big Deals. I got a quick call back, but Peter was not able to get me on the schedule for 5 weeks. We had an appointment for Friday at 3:00 and after I left a message at the company, his tech called at 3:15 to tell me he wouldn't be able to get here until around 5:30-6 pm. I've been waiting weeks and planned my schedule accordingly. This is not acceptable. Updates to follow... Update: So Peter called Sunday and we talked Monday and the next time he could come out was Friday, so I'd waited 5 weeks, why not 6? We scheduled for first thing in the morning. Then he called Wednesday to say he looked at his schedule wrong and he had a bigger job in Highland Creek he needed to do first thing and changed the appointment to 11:00. His workers called Friday and arrived around 12:30. Surprise, right? You would think that since they knew I already had complaints, that they may perhaps try to make up for it in excellent quality of work, not so. There was dirt on the windowsills and spider web/pine needles coming down the corner of the garage. They told me the job would take an hour and a half to two hours and when I came back after an hour, they were gone. The excuse was that there was a car parked in front of the garage. There was room between the car and garage, they could have knocked on the door. or they could have called me. My husband had walked in right in front of them. They must have known he was here. I wish I had a way to post the pictures. After my complaint Friday, the worker-Brian came back today, Sunday, and cleaned that area. I wouldn't use them again and I hesitate to use an Angie's Big Deal again, since Peter said the reason for the delays, etc were due to an overwhelming workload from all the sales they made with that deal. In this case, he said it is causing much wear and tear on the pressure washers. I would have rather paid $250 to have it done in a timely manner, as scheduled and done right the first time. So if I am to list the cons and bad experience, I must fairly leave the pros. As promised at the time of the first appointment scheduled, Peter had his guys pressure wash our playhouse without an additional cost. His guys were very nice when they were here and even helped me move a couple things off the playhouse porch. And in the end, they did come back and wash the part they had missed. Note to Peter: Clients have schedules. You do not know all they have rearranged in order to meet your guys at their home. Ample time should be allotted for each job, so that they are not so often late. Also, even though we pay for a "deal", we want the same quality of job as one that is full price. I understand you got in a little over your head with this deal. Still, there were so many ways you could have made this a better experience. If pressure washers breaking down are the reasons for all the delays, perhaps carrying a back up one one on the truck wouldn't be a bad idea. If you're going to make it, it really does have to be about the clients.

Crew came on originally scheduled day and was unable to complete job due to what we later found out was equipment problems. It would have felt more professional had they communicated this along with the invoice left in our mailbox, rather than finding out through calling. They followed up with our messages, and reassured us the job would be completed on a specific date. They showed up as planned and did a good job. We were also under the impression that they utilized a house cleaner of some sort based on their website; after asking about moldy areas, they explained that they no longer used cleaners after complaints of such. They might want to explain that or update their site. We were satisfied overall.

I was very pleased with the service. The technician called to say he was going to be a little late, which I always appreciate. We have a cover on our pool, which had not yet been removed, and he helped me take it off because I wanted to be sure the edges up to the pool were as clean as the rest of the area. He moved furniture so he could clean around it and did a great job with a wonderful attitude.I had taken advantage of the Angie's List deal, and it worked out very well. Thanks!

They did a great job at a great price.

On a Wednesday, we had horrible weather and still these guys showed up and pressure washed our house and drive way. It rained for a few days. When it dried by the following Saturday. I called for touch-ups. The very next Monday, the guys were back and cleaned until I was completely satisfied. I would highly recommend Window Genie (Denver, NC) service.

Guys arrived early, were very personable, cleaned two additional windows for no charge and our windows have never looked better! I will definitely hire them for future jobs....we are very pleased with the service we received.

The team, 2 people, arrived early to clean all of my windows, inside and out, along with the window sills. They were careful when moving items away from the windows inside and put everything back the way it was before. Overall they did a very good job of cleaning the windows although they forgot to put several of the blinds back down. My house is a large ranch, so all of the windows were fairly easy to reach from outside. The inside was trickier because of tables, beds, etc. in front of the windows, but they did an excellent job with moving and replacing all of it. I would call them again when I next need the windows cleaned.

Things did not go well for me with this Angie's List Big Deal. The people on the phone at the time of scheduling were very professionalism/ attentive. Their first appointment was about 3 weeks out and I understood that it is Springtime and there would be a back log. They told me that they would come by on 4-12-12 after 4:00 pm. On the date to be service Window Genie's pressure washing man called, a half hour before he was due to show up and said that his pressure washer was broken. Things happen and I understood. I waited 3 weeks and was hoping to get this work done but it wasn't life or death. He said that they would try to get back the next day and that a manager would call me. I waited five days and no call. This made me a bit nervous as to the quality I of work I may get from this company. I called Angie's List and asked for a refund.

Overall, it was o.k., but next year I will shop around.

Wife was VERY happy! Not only did they do a great job, but were very flexile and accommodating (took off a MAJOR storm window for us). The house as built in 1941 and the windows looked like it! Now sparkling! Didn't know we had garden in the back yard from the view upstairs! :-)

Do make sure they clean your window sills. Don't hesitate to ask for extras. They are more than willing to work with you. Very friendly!

Overall, our experience with Window Genie was excellent. They responded to our call for an appointment in a timely manner, came to our home at the time they were supposed to arrive, were professional and thorough in their work and worked very hard to get the results they wanted. Played telephone tag for a week or so before we connected to get the job scheduled. They did excellent work and it made a big difference. I hadn't realized my window were so dirty.

They were very timely and made sure they understood exactly what areas we needed to have done. They did a great job of the sidewalk and then managed to make the driveway look good without a detailed dividing line, since we didn't do the whole thing. They blended it nicely. The wooden deck had a lot of green mold from overhanging trees...they did a fair job getting it off, but didn't quite get it all. The owner called later to see if we were pleased and offered to come back when they were in the area and redo the part that didn't quite come off completely. My one complaint was that the persons doing the job had red mud on their boots which left footprints on the freshly cleaned sidewalk which did not wash off in the rain.

The service was excellent;however, the men came 1 1/2 hours late. had to hurry before dark and I was involved in something else.

We had a coupon in the newspaper for 50 percent off. We were quite pleased. The price was good and that's why we used them. The quality was good.

I prepaid $75 to Angie's List.. Window Genie came two hours late then what they originally promised. After they measured my area,they said the area was approx. 2100 feet. Peter the owner said : "it would be $200 for the whole thing". I though since I've already paid $75, my balance should be $125. So I told them to go ahead to do this job. After they finished the job, I was told the whole thing costs me $275, not $200. The BIG DEAL turned out to be not a good deal. In my mind, my area is about twice as big as the $75 per 1,000 promotional price, the most I should pay is twice of $75. It does not make sense that I pay $75 for the first 1000 ft, then $200 for the 2nd 1000 ft., the 2nd 1000 ft is 266% more expensive than the first 1000 ft. Is this bait and switch? Also, the worker said it would take them 3 hours to do this job, but they finished it in one hour and 45 minutes. I felt I got ripped off. I will not use Window Genie again.

I had a wonderful experience with Window Genie. The customer service relations and the overall finished work exceeded my expectations. The gentlemen who came to my home were prompt, clean cut, and very respectful. They made me aware of what they would be doing, how long it would take, and where they would be at all times. Being a woman home alone with children, that was very reassuring. They did excellent and swift work and I felt the price was right on. I never knew the outside of my house was so white! And the clarity through my windows is great! The whole experience was amazing and I would highly recommend Window Genie to anyone in the market for these services.

From the first point of contact with Peter at Window Genie, I had a great customer experience and his team delivered excellent results. My home looked brand new after they were done power washing and cleaning out the gutters. Would not hesitate to use Window Genie's services again in the future and would recommend them to anyone in need of their services. Well done!
