Very pleased with work. Two people came and it was clear that they had the right tools, and the right expertise, to clean the windows well and quickly.H

Scheduling was awkward because we tried to call and set up an appointment but was told that we have to send an email to set up the appointment. Other than that the service was fine. Scheduled for a Friday, but they had to reschedule to Saturday because a previous job took longer than expected. Not a big deal since they accommodated to come the day after. End result of services was excellent and very detail oriented. Would definitely use again next time around.

The finished result was very good. I was pleased with the final result and how the concrete areas looked...almost new. I had a bit of trouble setting up the appointment around my schedule and theirs....maybe they had soold alotof the big deal! We kept emailing and finally got a date that worked for both..that was fine since it was not an emergency situation.

They were responsive and made an appointment quickly. They were on time and did a thorough job.

Overall, the interaction with Window Genie was professional and courteous. The work was completed on the scheduled date. I was given a invoice for the extra square footage which was a reasonable price.

Initially, we did not get a response to our two voice mails asking to schedule service. These calls were made during the busy season, and I suppose were somehow overlooked. When Angie's List asked me to review the Big Deal, I said we hadn't had the service yet. They got involved and we received immediate response from Window Genie and scheduled service within two weeks of that day. Two young men came out and performed the services, and they returned a few days later to touch up a few spots that appeared after they left (dirty water came out from behind the vinyl siding and left black drip marks - not their fault). They were eager for our satisfaction, so I would hire them again.

I am very pleased! The guys showed up early due to cancellation of other appointments... they called first. Brian and his partner did a great job... moved things in the way and put them back carefully! The windows sparkle... I will definitely use them again!

The contractor washed most of the crude off the surfaces. I don't they used any soap or cleaner just water pressure. The house looks better.

Start was ok, however the overall job was not completed because of lack of water pressure.

After a shaky start, and late arrival (they got really lost), they had equipment failure, said they would come the next day, but that didn't work out, so we had to re-schedule. Once they did get here they went right to work and finished both houses in good time.

Very nice folks that performed a good service removing several years worth of gronge, They cleaned up afterwards and I was very happy with the results

We had used Window Genie last fall for indoor and outdoor window cleaning and they did an excellent job. The house trim and deck needed pressure washing so we decided to call them back for this work. We called in late June and the appointment was scheduled for the afternoon of July 9 (Monday). About 3 pm a guy called and said that he was running late and that he would be there around 5:00 pm. Well, 5:00 pm came and no one showed up and no one called and we heard nothing the next day. We had decided to call someone else when the owner called on Friday evening (July 13) and said that he had been out of town, apologized for the confusion and offered to re-schedule.Since they had done a good job for us earlier, we decided to re-schedule and made an appointment for July 24 am. While the guy was about 30 minutes late showing up, he did call and say that he was going to be late and showed up at the time that he promised. He got on the roof and brushed down some debris above the deck that we are unable to reach. Then pressure washed the trim of the house and the deck. The whole process took about an hour. We are pleased with the result. They were able to remove a lot of dirt left by the spring pollen and canker worm infestation. We will have them back to clean windows or pressure wash.

The quality of the work was fine, but scheduling was very frustrating. I purchased an Angie's List special on 3/23 and waited a couple of months thinking they would be very busy after running the special. When I contacted them to schedule on 5/22, they indicated 6/21 was the earliest they could do the work, so we scheduled for then. They called late that day and indicated they ran long on another job and would not be able to make it. I was very frustrated that we were again put "at the bottom of the stack" for scheduling. It took several emails/phone calls to reschedule, the next time they could come out was the week of 7/16. We finally arranged for 7/19 which was 2 months after I contacted them and 4 months after I purchased the special. It was obvious they simply overbooked their ability to deliver services.

The two-man team took their time and work each section until it was clean and bright. I understand why they were late arriving, given the time and energy the exerted at our house. The washer was very powerful and got into the nooks and crannies of the house. The back porch is spotless, including the ceiling. They even cleaned some of the paint off the wooden posts holding up the porch, helping us to prepare to paint them without having to do so much scraping (we considered that a bonus). Overall, it was a job well-done. The team was courteous, professional, and did not leave a mess. They ensure our satisfaction before disconnecting their equipment - walking around the house and discussing the areas cleaned. I would recommend them to my family and friends and will use them again.

I scheduled the original service in month of May. It several phone calls to get hold of the person and receive a return call.When the preson came to presuure wash, the machine broke down and I had a party scheduled at my home the next day.I had to follow up with several phone calls and emails to get hold of the preson and reschedule the service.I was under the impression that the preson will come and use a pressure wash machine that you usually see people using.But, his machine looked more like a carpet cleaner type of machine. I don't think the pressure was job they did took off all the black spots and really cleaned my driveway very well. I was not happy with the work. The thing I liked about them is that they cleaned more area than what they are supposed to as they had to come in the 2nd time to complete the job.

It was hard to get this scheduled. I was in the hospital 2 months ago for surgery. He finally scheduled this 2 months ago and first agreed to be here on 06/26/12 at 8am. Then they called and said they would be here between 11-11:30. They then called again at noon and said they were here and no one was there. I finally told them I had to go I would leave the door open so they could go in and do it. I came home and no work was done. I called them and he said the windows were painted shut, which there was no paint on my windows since they were metal. Basically he said the job was too big and too hard. He also said my windows were too dirty. I gave him every opportnity to make it right and he basically blew me off and told me tol call Angie's List for the refund.

Initially, the first cleaning was done about the second or third week of April. The service person arrived several hours late and started the job. He later told me that the house was not coming clean. We did a walk around and there were still mildew and dirt stains along the eaves of the house. I asked if he used bleach or other cleaners, he told me that his boss gave him 3 different kinds of bleach and that bleach doesn't work. While the service person was unfailingly polite, I just was not satisfied. I contacted the owner, Peter Cogan and expressed my dissatisfaction with the job and the comments that his employee made. He stated that he wanted to make things right and what would I prefer a refund or redo. Since the housecleaning was what I wanted, he agreed to reschedule. We worked out some mutual dates and a crew was dispatched on May 23, 2012. The crew was late and apologized, but this time I had 3 technicians. We did a walkaround to discuss the areas of concern. The senior technician pointed out that the house was made of masonite and too much pressure would strip the paint off the wood. He and the other two tecnicians actually hand washed the house with long handled brooms. By the time they left my house was sparkling.I am happy with the results and the fact that Peter was willing to do whatever he needed to do to satisfy a customer.

I didn't have a great experience with Window Genie. I bought the Groupon for $99 and called them - the Groupon was for a 2000 sq ft house - mine is 3000 sq ft - it was 1/2 off so assume that the extra would be $100 but they charged me $150 - so in the end I paid what I would have paid just about any other company. That was the first bad taste in my mouth. I scheduled my appt and they didn't show up - it was late in the day and they called at about 4p to say they were running late but they would still be there. They came by at 7ish to look at what needed to be done and they didn't see a problem with most of the house - there is some rust stains from the air conditioner that they didn't think they could get out, but the rest would be great. I asked about the chemicals used because I have lots of flowers that I love and I was assured that they were mild and wouldn't hurt them. He asked to reschedule because he really wanted to take the time and do it right - no problem. I called and rescheduled the next day for April 23 at noon. They showed up at about 4pm (I'm fuzzy on exactly what time but late). It wasn't the guy that had come out before but they assured me that everything could be done and that they would do their best on the rust stain. They finished after dark and I tipped them and thanked them - it wasn't possible to check the results. Next morning, I looked and could barely tell that the house had been pressure washed. Both of my neighbors have recently had theirs done (by other companies) and their houses looked so much better. So I called the owner and said that I really wasn't happy. He told me that they were having trouble with their equipment and that most of their machines were in the shop and he would do it over when the machines were out of the shop and I would be satisfied. I said I'm not in a rush, I just want it done right so we scheduled the next time slot - May 24. Late again. I had to leave to pick up kids so the guy came when I was out - which wouldn't have been a problem if the results were good. He asked what he was to redo and I said basically the whole house - I could tell he wasn't happy but assumed that he would do what was scheduled. The guy called me afterwards and told me there was nothing that could be done - he had "tried everything". Came home less than an hour after he left and there was no sign of water use - NONE. There was a hand brush on my air conditioner and no other sign that anything had been done. No follow up call from the owner to see if I was happy with the results. I've decided not to follow up since I basically just got lip service with my dissatisfaction. I really hate leaving bad reviews but I feel I need to in this case. I would not recommend them to anyone. The owner on the phone is very nice and seems to want to do a good job but it's just not happening.

This was the first time I used a company that I had found on Angie's list and I was very disappointed. It took several weeks to get on the calendar for this company, and once they came, only one person came as opposed to the 2 person crew we expected, and this individual couldn't figure out how to take out and replace the screens on our window's, so he only did the interior window's. Not sure it was the guy's fault who actually came to do that job, but it still was a pain to us as we had to contact the company to have them come out again to do the exterior on another day. When I contacted the company, they asked me who came to the house - would have expected this would have been something they knew - not us! The job they did on the interior that day was just OK - their were several window's that I had to request be done again. They came again and still seemed to struggle with the screen's - one they actually asked if they could not replace since it was difficult, which was in our toddler's son's room, clearly not an option! Replacing screens for this type of job would seem a basic requirement... Overall, I was disappointed given the great review's on Angie's list. This job took nearly 5 to 6 weeks to get it completed once I first contacted them, took multiple visits to get it completed, and just seemed to be harder than it needed to be to get done. I don't expect to use them again.

They were supposed to come on May 8th but called and left a message saying they were canceling and didn't leave a reason. It had already been over a month since I purchased the service. I was not able to get ahold of them after they left the message.

I used an Angie's list coupon for this company to pressure wash my house. I don't know what their regular price is, so I can't comment on how competitive their pricing is. They showed up pretty close to when they were supposed to, about 9:00 in the morning, but did not bring the proper equipment with them. They said most of their gas pressure washers were being repaired, and the electric ones they brought with them would be inadequate. They said there was a possibility they could come back later in the day with gas pressure washers. I waited all day for them to contact me, and then at 4:30 they called to say they were on their way. An hour later, they called again to ask if they could come the next day instead. When they did come the next day, they did a good job. I thought the communication could have been better so I wasn't sitting around my house all day the first day waiting for them.
