It went fine. It's good. They're efficient.

.Brian arrived on time and ready to go. He did a very thorough job. He was able to reach my clerestory windows which are 18 feet above the main floor as well as my third story windows. I an well pleased with the results.

Unfortunately, they never followed up with me and never performed the work.

For the $99 Big Deal, I thought I was getting much more. First there was a mixup on when they were coming. Then they said there was an extra charge for each pane; they only count it as one window if the panes are grids between two pieces of glass and they don't have to deal with them. We agreed on a number of windows, now limited to avoid the pane charges, and agreed to their doing the outsides only. They removed the storm windows and cleaned out debris and spider webs. Then they soaped and hosed down the windows. This left standing puddles on the porch and the porch mats soaked, with the wrought iron porch furniture standing in water. At my request they got a broom and swept off some, but not nearly all, of the water. I was not satisfied with puddles still remaining and suggested they try their leaf blower, and to their credit they put some effort into getting the porch dry. But they blew a porch mat right off the porch into the bushes, making no effort to get it out of the way before or retrieve it after. They were polite, and the windows are very clean on the outside. But the time and price mixups and the lack of a professional job routine with standards will keep me from using them again.

The windows were not cleaned well but they offered to return and clean them if not satisfied. We have never been able to contact them again. We have tried emails and phone calls.

I've used Window Genie for many years, and they continue to provide excellent service and quality work. Peter always returns calls within 24 hours and scheduling is very easy. They are very accommodating and go the extra mile to please. I have used them also for a very difficult job of cleaning my brother's windows with residual paint spray...he was very pleased with the results and is bringing them back to clean windows and gutters this year on a regular schedule. I won't go anywhere else.

They cleaned the panes and the sill. I've never seen the windows so clear.

We wanted them to come out before our daughter's wedding reception in June. They couldn't get to our job until July 1. They were supposed to clean windows inside and out. and pressure wash the siding. We didn't follow them around inside the house, but the crew of two were inside working about 15 minutes. We have about 30 windows on three levels. That's pretty quick. They didn't do any of the garage windows. It was a very low quality, high-speed job. But the biggest problem was that in the process of pressure washing on the third floor, they managed to knock a hole in a piece of vinyl siding. We called them on it the next day. They offered to pay for the repair, but not to handle getting it done. They didn't even send out their insurance adjuster, but told us to get three quotes. We haven't been able to find anyone willing to come out to fix one piece of siding on the third floor our house. We contacted three "handy men" from Angie's List and none of them showed up. I guess it is too small of a job. So it's still broken, absorbing moisture, becoming a bigger problem all the time. Window Genie made it OUR responsibility to fix THEIR damage. I don't think that's how this should have been handled and I don't appreciate it. The dollar amount of damage is too small to sue over except in small claims court, which is a waste of time. So we're stuck with increasing damage from cheap work.

I was out running errands, etc. I was watching the time carefully and got home by 1 p.m. At 2:15, there was still no sign of Window Genie. I called them, got the typical voice mail message and politely asked if they could give me an approximate time of arrival. About 15 or 20 minutes later, I got a call from Brian (an employee of Window Genie). He was apologetic but told me that he was tied up in Mooresville and wouldn't be able to get to my home until 4 or 4:30. Furthermore, that if I wanted to re-schedule, the earliest opening would be next Tuesday morning. I declined. I then rec'd a voice mail from Mr. Cogan apologizing and blaming both the bad weather from yesterday, employee illness and the fact that scheduling this type of work is "not an exact science". I replied that I understand that things happen. What I have a problem with is Window Genie not bothering to discuss these problems with me. Mr. Cogan blamed Brian (the employee out doing the actual work) for not calling to let me know of the delay. Mr. Cogan as the business owner should be aware of scheduling problems as they occur and be prepared to communicate pertinent info to his customers. This experience says to me that this business has no respect for me or my time.

The guy came out and did a great job. Very professional. Was quick and very clean. We would definitely use him again.

I chose them because they had an Angie's list coupon to power wash the whole house for $149. I first contacted them to do the job on July 25 and they responded via email in just a few hours asking what area I lived in. I responded a few hours later and didn't hear back from them. In the middle of August I sent another reply asking them if they were coming out and they responded within a few minutes saying they could come out in about 2 weeks. Since they responded so quickly the last time I assume I just somehow fell through the cracks the first time. They came and did the job. The job was ok, my house really wasn't that much cleaner afterwards but it helped. A few days later I discovered that a small section of my drywall ceiling in my garage had gotten soaked as a result of the power wash and collapsed. They had spayed water under the eaves around the garage and apparently the water came through and landed on the top of the drywall. I can't really blame that on them as it seems to just have been an opening somewhere there that allowed the water through. But coupled with the length of time it took them to come out, it left a bad tasted in my mouth. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend them but I wouldn't recommend against using them either. My assumption is that you would likely have a better experience than I did. Overall it was an average job and worth what I paid.

Very good professionals who did their work very well. I would not hesitate to call them again and recommending them to other friends.

When I contacted him by email, he wrote back wanting to know how many windows I had. Then he asked how many panes were in each window. Then he asked about storm windows.. As it turned out, he wanted to charge me more than for a given number of windiows-also charge extra for the number of panes in each window, plus additional charges for every storm window. By the time he finished adding on charges, it would have cost me more to use him above the advertised price than it was advertised. I cancelled the order I felt like he was less than truthful in his advertisement, and I would not use him ever.

He just wanted to up sell other things and not do the just the deal.

I paid the cost of the deal. They did a very nice job and I would recommend them.

I trust Angie's List in general and the fact that they have the Big Deal. It was generally good but it some way annoyed me is that I think he dumped some of the waste water in the yard and I didn't have a round spot on the grass for a while; so that was annoying.

We now see the world through HD! I wish I had them out sooner to clean my windows. They really did a great job A+.

They are dependable, they are good and they are a bunch of guys who know what they are doing. And I watched what they did and if they had something they would have done they would just go ahead and do without extra charges. They just did a good job. I liked what they did.

Everything was terrific. They arrived on time, were very professional and courteous. We worked efficiently, and did a terrific job. They let us know about other services offered by Window Genie. They owner followed up by email a few days after the job to make sure that all went well. We would definitely use them again.
