Vince Curcio - The Bizzzy Bee

We had some extensive rotten wood underneath a large 2nd story picture window that went pretty far between our two walls. There was also rot in some Masonite siding above our garage. Vinny was prompt in setting up an appointment to give us an estimate and spent the time w/us discussing what needed to be done and how he was going to do it. His price was very good and came in less than our other estimates (some of which were including work that Vince felt was unnecessary). He performed the work on the day he said he would, was always professional and did a great job! He was a very easy person to deal and speak with. I highly recommend this very trustworthy company!

Outstanding! Vince sent over two men that were willing to do any odd jobs that I needed done. He worked us into the schedule to help us get our house ready for a party the week after we moved in. He calls to check in to see if there is anything I need and is very accommodating. Thanks.

Mr Curcio promptly returned my call. Came out to the house and gave an estimate which I accepted. One of his employees came out to do the repair within the time frame of the estimate. He was very good as it required some tricky carpentry to match up the rest of the molding on the door jamb. The final price was within the estimate.

We called Vince and set up a time for the install. He was on the manufacturer's ''Recommended Installers'' list. He called to postpone the install, I think, three different times. On the third call I said for him not to worry about it. We'd go another route. I was tired of waiting. He apologized and returned our warranty/install documents. I think he is just a bit ''too Bizzy''.

This was my second experience with The Bizzzy Bee. Again, it was excellent. These guys really go all out to help their customers. They came out on a holiday to perform the repairs so that I could close on my house on time. Their work is excellent and the price is extremely fair.

Bizzzy Bees did a great job - deck looks like new! The pressure washing got the deck down to the bare wood - bright as if brand new! They allowed the wood to dry overnight then came back the next day to apply the seal/stain. The deck wood was still not dry, so instead of painting it anyway, they guy went on to another job and then came back later in the day. He worked late into the evening to get the job done! It looks great - thanks to Bizzzy Bees yet again!!

The team showed up sooner than I expected which was a great help to get the house on market sooner than later. They were truly "bizzzy" - worked non-stop, didn't goof around, obvious team-manship and obviously proud of their work. Each guy helping the other when needed. They knew what they were doing at each step and even improvised - figuring out a better way to fix something up (like my door threshold). And they wrapped up at the end of the day - everything finished! I was just over whelmingly pleased. They treated me with respect and total courteousness. I was able to do what I needed to do and they worked away at their list. I really liked the teammates, their work ethic. I definitely will use Vinnie and team for anything else that I need that is beyond my capabilities or that I just don't want to deal with! Considering everything I was dealing with to get this house ready for sale, it was so great to have Bizzzy Bees. I nominate them for Page of Happiness!!!

The two workers who came over were professional and pleasant and worked steadily. They came exactly on time. The job took longer than expected, 6 hours and was at least $100 over the top range of my estimate.

The window got cracked while they were doing work but they replaced the window at their cost. They were very professional and very thorough. He stood behind the work they did.

Vince was great at the time of estimate. Really helpful and knowledgeable. Duane (the handyman) was awesome, very professional, and friendly. All the work was done well, in a timely way.

Bizzy Bee was on time and polite. Once they began the repair, they identified additional problems which could only be identified after getting part of the way through the job. They had told us before that during the process of pulling off some of the existing materials that they might discover otherwise unidentifiable problems (ex., wood rot). In addition to the initial quoted work, they repaired some of these additional problems, and the total price for all work actually was less than the original estimate. They also took it upon themselves to repair a minor problem to our gate for virtually no additional cost. We had a prior experience with them for a minor job and have found them to be utterly trustworthy, extremely knowledgeable, professional, and reasonably priced. As we continue to repair this old house, we plan to use them for any and everything for which they believe they're qualified.

Vince and his crew were very professional and on time. This was a rush job due to the holidays and the timeline was very tight, but Vince and his crew delivered ahead of schedule. Knowing that we were thinking of putting a bookcase in one wall, he went ahead and reinforced the wall in order to be able to sustain heavier loads. The wall and the door itself look like they have been there from the time our place was initially built. Extremely pleased with their work.

THEY WERE PROMPT, RESPONSIVE, AND ALWAYS KEPT ME UP TO DATE ON THE COST. THE FOLLOW-UP WAS ALSO EXCELLENT. THE OWNER CALLED WHEN THE JOB WAS COMPLETED TO MAKE SURE WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE WORK. I WAS ESPECIALLY PLEASED WITH VINCE, THE OWNER.

I'D THINK THE SHINGLE COLOR ISSUE SHOULD'VE BEEN ADDRESSED BEFORE TEARING OPEN THE ROOF. THEN WE COULD HAVE BEEN PREPARED WITH BETTER MATCHING SHINGLES. WE ALSO PAID FOR A MECHANIZED ROOF VENT TO GO IN THE HOLE, WHICH IS USELESS AND WILL HAVE TO BE REMOVED SINCE WE WILL HAVE A CATHEDRAL CEILING. PERHAPS WE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS, BUT IN RETROSPECT, IT WOULD SEEM THE CONTRACTOR WOULD INQUIRE ABOUT THE INTERIOR PLANS IN ORDER TO GIVE THE BEST ADVICE. THIS COMPANY HAS VERY HIGH RATINGS, THOUGH, SO MAYBE OUR EXPERIENCE WAS ATYPICAL.

OUR TWO EXPERIENCES WERE VERY DIFFERENT. WE CHOSE THEM AGAIN, EVEN THOUGH EXPENSIVE, BECAUSE WE FELT THEY WOULD DO A VERY GOOD JOB, AS THEY HAD DONE BEFORE. HOWEVER, IF IT WOULD BE EVEN MORE MONEY FOR A DAY'S WORK WITH A SPADE AND SHOVEL, THEN IT BECOMES NOT COST-EFFECTIVE, BUT EXCESSIVE, AND WE WOULDN'T HAVE CONTRACTED FOR THE JOB. BOTTOM LINE IS, THIS COMPANY'S RATINGS ARE SO HIGH, THIS IS PROBABLY AN UNUSUAL SITUATION, BUT I WOULD BE SURE BOTH PARTIES ARE VERY CLEAR ON WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR BEFORE SIGNING A CONTRACT, ESPECIALLY FOR A BIG JOB. HATE SAYING NEGATIVE THINGS, BUT I WAS DISAPPOINTED.

THE MEN ARRIVED ON TIME AND WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS.

VINCE RETURNED CALL IN A TIMELY MANNER. SHOWED UP WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD AND GAVE A FREE ESTIMATE. HE GAVE ME SUGGESTIONS ON HOW THE ROTTED WOOD COULD BE REPLACED. HE TOLD ME AHEAD OF TIME HOW LONG IT WOULD BE BEFORE THE WORK COULD BE DONE. BEFORE BEGINNING,HE INTRODUCED THE GUYS THAT WERE GOING TO BE WORKING ON MY HOUSE. THEY WERE ALL VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. TWO DAYS AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETED, VINCE CALLED TO MAKE SURE THAT I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT I HAVE HAD TO HIRE SOMEONE TO DO THIS KIND OF WORK FOR ME. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE EXPERIENCE.
