Thank you for the compliment on our workmanship. I do want to clarify though that the repairs were not $30,000. They were $3,500 and of that amount, there was over $1,100 in materials. The remaining amount was for the labor to repair the following: Painted the entire front entry way Repainted the front door Replaced the broken glass transom above the entry door Replaced the trim around the transom above the front door Reinstalled 2 sections of fallen soffit Removed, repainted, and replaced the hardware on all the shutters on the front of the home Replaced 12 ft. of fascia above the garage bay doors by the roof Replaced rotted siding and trim around the garage bay door Repaired gutter damage from fallen limb Trimmed bushes and trees Replaced 3 cap shingles on the gable over the entry door Picked up materials as needed All of these items were listed on the customer’s invoice and can be verified upon request. Anyone who knows anything about maintenance, can see, after reviewing this list, can see that it was a good value for the money spent. I am surprised that there is an issue as we successfully repair weather stripping in various homes every week. But I am more surprised that this customer has failed to call us so that we are aware that there is a problem. We are more than willing to make corrections if and when they are needed. To Not let us know that there is an issue and give us a chance to investigate and correct the issue, while blasting us on a public forum, is not the actions of a reasonable person. I could understand if we had made a mistake and refused to correct it, but that is not the case. At this point we still do not know what the issue is because this customer has refused to communicate with us. We value every customer and stand behind our work. If this customer is willing to allow us to investigate the issue and correct as needed, than they should give us the courtesy of a phone call and the opportunity to do so. If Not, why Not? No one is perfect and if we made a mistake, I would expect the customer to allow us the opportunity to stand behind our work and our good name. Description of Work: We had several items that needed checking off on our to do list. We liked what we saw about The Bizzzy Bee on Angies List so I called and spoke to the owner Vince Curcio. He was helpful and knowledgeable. We needed a stretch of rotten wood replaced where the siding had pulled away and an ancient heavy basketball goal and backboard removed and the lag bolts cut off and patched. Mr. Curcio gave me an estimate of the time required plus the estimate of the materials needed to do the job. |Ray the tech arrived on time and his appearance and demeanor were businesslike and professional. He maintained a can do attitude throughout the project which also included climbing on the roof to give an estimate for the replacement of the chimney chase. All items (caulking gaps in siding, replacement of rotten wood and resetting of siding, removal of the backboard and sealing of lag bolts and brick) were done in a very efficient manner and in the time Mr. Curcio had quoted. The bill of work was extremely satisfactory to my husband and I and we will use The Bizzzy Bee for all our future handyman/ contractor needs in the future. We would heartily recommend this company to everyone!

They also installed a hook, so that I could hang my 6 ft. ladder in my garage. | |The installation went well. The curtain rods were hung at the perfect height and my curtains look great!

This is a Bogus Report and I was not able to have it removed even though the customer represented within this report did not write this report. I shall attempt to explain my dilemma. When I read this review I was surprised because I remembered this customer and they were happy with our service. Additionally, the review said that the work was performed July 27th 2015 but we did work for this customer in November/December of 2014. The fact that there were no comments and that our company records show that this was a happy customer from 2014 made me question what this was all about. So I called the customer to see what the problem was and they were surprised to hear that a report had been written. They told me that they did not know that a report had been submitted and that they were very happy with what we had done for them. They also told me that they were in the process of moving out of state and that they were a victim of identity theft and a mess was created for them that they will have to deal with. They seem to think that the prankster that got on their system has written this report as a joke and that after they were settled from moving they would have it removed. I texted them the number to Angie’s List so that they would have it available and then contacted my account representative at Angie’s List to see what help I could get with this unique problem. When I spoke with my representative, they informed me that they would pass this information along to the appropriate department to see what could be done. I followed up a couple of days later with my representative and was told that he could not contact the customer but that he had passed the information along. I waited for over a week but the customer had not called or written Angie’s List and rather than hound the customer who is in the middle of moving, I called to speak with a supervisor at Angie’s List. I explained my situation and when I was finished they simply said that Angie’s List would not call this customer. I tried to reason with the supervisor but honestly, all they did was make me angry because the policy of Angie’s List would not allow them to call the customer. No matter what I said it did not matter, they would not call to verify the facts in this situation. Naturally I was angry because my name was being unjustly trashed. In all fairness to Angie’s List, I understand that they cannot get in the middle of a ‘he said – she said’ situation and I would not expect them to. But this was a unique situation and after many years of good service I expected some help with such a unique situation like this. But the reality is, I am not allowed to go any further with my complaint and I cannot get them to simply call the customer to verify if this is a legitimate report. At this point I am no longer angry but sad. What kind of people have we become? Are we now so mechanical as a people, that making simple judgment calls is not allowed? Policy rules the day instead of reasoning out and judging what is right for a given situation. I am thankful that I never let my business get so big that the needs and concerns of my customers are no longer a concern, or worse muzzled by a blanket policy. I am not against Angie’s List, it is a great company. But I cannot agree with a blanket policy that does not allow a unique situation to be dealt with in an appropriate manner. If you have read through my rebuttal, than you can understand my frustration and I hope that this helps you see that I take my reputation very seriously. I care about every customer that calls us and I do my best to meet any and every need that we can. If you are looking for an honest quality minded company, than give us a call.
