I would highly recommend working with Jim Valentine! He and his team were very professional and wonderful to work with. They took pride in the job they did. We are very happy and will hire them again in the future.

This is the second time we have used Valentine Painting. Jim is always very responsive, punctual and his team does a great job. Their work is professional and they work hard to ensure we as customers, are happy with the progress along the way. This was a gift to our parents and Jim sent us a video as the job was being completed. Would highly recommend Valentine Painting.

I needed a bonus room painted very quickly so that it would be ready by Christmas to make a playroom for my daughter. He had a busy schedule but due to weather on an outdoor project he came with his crew the next day and got it all done for me!!! I was amazed!! He was so professional and his team did an awesome job! I highly recommend Jim and his team if you want quality painting done. You won’t regret it!

Quickly and professionally. No surprises

Jim and team did an amazing job on painting the exterior of our home. Everyone was pleasant to deal with and always smiling. His team cleaned up everyday prior to leaving and showed up every morning until the job was complete. On the final day, Jim performed a thorough walk-thru of the job to ensure the work was complete and accurate. I would most definitely hire them again. Amazing job!

Very happy with the work. Jim is very meticulous and wanted to make sure everything was done perfect. His crew was friendly and respectful and did an excellent job ensuring that furniture and floors were all covered. They also did an excellent job repairing a difficult to access crack in the ceiling that was 20 feet high over stairs. Not the easiest thing to fix. Would definitely use again.

Jim's crew did a great job. Very professional and everything looks great. Their work included prepping the walls and fixed holes, imperfections and other damage by the previous owners, applying 2-3 coats of paint, moving various furniture and other items around and cleaning. Jim walked the house before they were done and noted a few issues which were fixed, highly recommend.

This is the third time I've used Jim's services for painting between 2017 and 2021- 1) Interior painting 3 rooms, 2) Exterior painting, all house trim, 3) Interior painting 4 rooms. Jim is a perfectionist and he QCs all of the work performed by his team (and they are skilled!)- I've never seen this quality of painting concerning the prep and final product. I added a photo of a small sample of his work. BTW, they clean up their work site well too! I have a fall garage project- I will be calling on Jim and his team!

A great experience with Jim and Team. He did a thorough estimate so there were no surprises. His team worked efficiently and cleanly and came in on time and on budget. Jim does a detailed final walk through to ensure everything is up to his standards. We immediately hired him again to do some work on the home we are selling to move into the townhome. His team completed all the work in a day. Excellent results, top notch service! Would definitely hire again.

Jim's team did a great job. We had our old kitchen cabinets refinished from a lightly stained and varnished maple finish to a modern white. It looks great. This was a difficult job and I am especially meticulous about every detail. I had reconfigured our old cabinets for the new kitchen design which included several door that had been resized (which means seams, filler, and sanding). In addition, our old hinges were on the outside of the cabinets. Going to hidden hinges meant that slots on the sides of the doors needed to be filled and sanded. The end result is that you can't even tell that the doors ever had exterior hinges or that some of them had been resized. The cabinets look like they just came straight from the manufacturer.

Valentine Painting painted the interior of our entire home, closets, everything! They did such an excellent job! The quality of their work was outstanding and they finished ahead of schedule. They were prompt, courteous, and clean. Customer Service went above and beyond at each step! Of the several contractors I contacted for my project, Jim, owner of Valentine Painting, was the first to return my inquiry. He called promptly and introduced his firm and services. We quickly scheduled a time to come out to assess the scope of the work and he got in touch shortly afterward with pricing. He was willing and in fact encouraged other bids which I did get before making the decision to go with Valentine Painting. Throughout the entire process the communication was excellent, the painters were polite, efficient, and very respectful of my property. Jim followed up before and after each time they needed to come (multi day project). The entire process from start to finish exceeded my expectations and I would/will definitely hire again when I need further painting done. Their pricing is a bit higher than others but the value is well worth it.

Jim and his crew are very professional. Jim was responsive and involved throughout our engagement - from proposal through the work and to the final product. Our house needed some paint TLC and Jim's crew delivered. We had some soffit , trim, and door repair needed as well and they handled it without issue. House looks better today than when we bought it 11 years ago. What we especially appreciated was Jims attention to finish detail - things we spotted that needed to be touched up - he caught and more - couldn't be happier with the final product.

We had worked with Jim and his crew at our previous home. He did such an amazing job that we had him do the trim work in our new one. Very prompt, the crew is courteous and very careful about their work. We are planning on Valentine Painting doing the outside of our home as well. Definitely worth the money.

I highly recommend Valentine Painting for the knowledgeable and professional job they did for us. All of the 22 badly painted interior doors in our 1970’s condo were peeling, and the old, cheap hinges had many coats of paint when we bought this condo. They seriously detracted from the remodeling improvements we have done. I received several estimates for repair and repainting of the doors, all of which were quite expensive but cost less than replacing the doors. Jim Valentine gave me a very knowledgeable and professional explanation of what caused the peeling paint and how his crew would correct the problem. He also agreed to replace the ugly old hinges as part of the job. His price was comparable to the other estimates, and reasonable when I considered the sanding, dusting, oil-based primer, rehanging and two coats of premium paint required to fix the problem. He and his great crew were always on time, wore their masks, and kept our home clean and relatively dust-free. They were quick to respond to all of my concerns and did the job as agreed upon in our contract. The doors now look perfectly beautiful and make an amazing difference in this older condo! The crew did an absolutely meticulous Jon with our job. We had a lot of cracks, imperfections and holes in our walls and they took the utmost care to not only paint but to ensure that the walls were smooth, repaired, etc. The transformation is amazing. Jim monitors the entire process and holds his crews to the highest standards. The crew was extremely professional and courteous and cleaned up after themselves. They even cleaned our front foyer window just because they were up on the ladder! We have used Jim for years and will continue to use him for additional paint jobs.
