Our dog went to the bathroom (liquid #2) all over our carpet, so I scheduled my appointment online for the next day for 3 areas to be steam cleaned. They got all of the stool up as well as lightened a dark blue candle stain from a couple years ago (that my dog again caused). They sold me on the deoderizer for the room that my dog had gone to the bathroom in - but not the rest of the rooms. After they finished i could still smell a foul smell where my dog went to the bathroom so they put more deorderizer on it and assured me that if the smell wasn't gone by the next day, they would come back and clean it again. Anyways, the smell was gone the next day and will definetly use them again!

Kourouma and William showed up on time and got right to work. They completed the job in a reasonable time (2 hours). I have four dogs and have my carpets cleaned every six months but they never look completely clean, no matter which company I hire. I asked Kourouma if it would help to clean them every three months but he didn't think it would make a difference. I have rated them as good because they worked hard. I've come to believe there isn't a carpet company around that can make my carpet look "like new" as most of them imply in their advertisements. I had Stanley Steemer spray on a protectant but one week after they did the job, the carpet looked like it hadn't even been cleaned.

The services was minimal in size, but I was very happy with them. They were punctual, helpful, and the rooms looked great. The rugs were very clean and they left no mess behind.

We use SS regularly. They do a great job. We have 2 older cats that spray on occasion and SS gets the smelll out. Very courteous and professional

The response to my call was prompt (they came the next day). Adam and Ronald cleaned carefully and fully, returning to some heavily soiled areas more than once. These eight year old rugs, which were heavily soiled in some places, looked like new when they finished. The chair had never been cleaned. It also looked like new. They did a great job, and soil that other carpet cleaning companies had left because they said it was caused by "wear" disappeared. I would definitely recommend them!

Called for an estimate for cleaning of hardwood floors in most of our downstairs and some other areas to include of poly. We didn't want to go through mess of sanding so thought this would be a cheaper alternative. The workers came out very quickly to give an estimate and it was right in line with other estimates we were given. Waited 2 months to have work done due to holidays.When I called I mentioned I was concerned about the moving of our office furniture b/c of its weight and I was assured it wouldn't be a problem.Well when the workers arrived it was a problem. We came up with acceptable solution of putting desk up on blocks in an area that would be covered later by rugs.Workers were very efficient and very careful with the moving of the furniture. So far I haven't noticed any damage to any of the furniture. I left the house and our family stayed overnight at hotel b/c the poly needs at least 6 hrs. to dry so you can walk on it in stocking feet. Floors look much better than they did. Didn't take up any of the surface scratches we have but put a bit of shine on them which is what we wanted. Be aware you can't put rugs back down for 7 days and the floors are easily scratched. We have already left some marks on them using magic movers to move some pieces of furniture back into place.I'm hoping they will toughen up once they are cured for the required 7 days. My only "complaint" so to speak was that when i stopped at the house in the afternoon to check on things before going to the hotel the workers had left many of the lights on and my back door was not locked. If we had gone on vacation for several days this would have been a big problem in my mind. I felt I couldn't go in to turn the lights off b/c of wet floors so they stayed on all night with open blinds which made me a bit nervous. So overall the process was pretty much what we expected and a good way to extend the life of the floors before the inevitable sanding in several years. I would recommend them but you will need to accept the fact that this process will not take up any scratches. I gave a B (B+)rather than an A b/c I was under the expectation that small scratches would be removed.

I requested the service using SS's internet site and they were ringing my doorbell a half hour later. Brian R. and Billy were professional, fast and thorough. I left them alone in my house, prepaid them and asked them to lock up when they left. It took them less them 2 hours to clean/protect the carpets in the whole house (4 bedrooms, third floor bonus room, family room, small office, family room, 2 staircases, hallway). The carpets looked great when I returned, the spots I had pointed out were gone, they took immaculate care of my furniture and belongings and they locked up just as I had asked. They were also careful not to let the cats out of the house! I also had Brian T. clean, protect and deodorize all of our furniture in late 2008. I was equally pleased with this service. Their process does wonders on old cat stains and odors (mostly vomit...gross). I also bought their recommended chemical for removing pet odors/stains and have used it on the furniture (nice Ethan Allen couch that really isn't supposed to be washed!) myself with equal success. I will be using SS every year to get my carpets cleaned (despite the expensive price....worth it). I would recommend looking for a coupon though!

We have had them for 6 to 8 months and they've done a good job each time they've been here. We have been here for 11 years and Stanley Steemer has been here 4 or 5 times. Their prices differed according to what we had done. They are very dependable and everything they said they would do, they did. I would give them A's on all categories.

They did a good job. They went through the house for whatever I wanted done in a timely manner, and everything was fine. I was very satisfied with them. I have seen other providers offering lower prices but I don’t know if they are good, bad or indifferent.

I have very old carpet but I must have done a good job of picking it, because it still cleans up beautifully every time they come out. Whenever they come out and clean the carpets it always looks like I just had brand new carpeting laid down.

The last time we used their services was about 2 months ago. We had all of our carpets cleaned by them. We also had them clean 4 dining room chairs and 1 living room chair. They cleaned the carpets in 4 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room and a hallway. My experience with them has been very positive. They are very professional and they are punctual too. They did an outstanding job and they were courteous. They took care of everything. The price that they charged was very fair. I will use them again in the future.

They were very helpful and professional. They had a supervisor come out and check on the work. He was very informative.

This was satisfactory. This was a normal business call and I was satisfied with it. I used a discount with them. I would hire them again.

They came and did a good job. They got out exactly what they said they were going to get out dirt-wise. The carpet dried when they said it was going to dry. They moved the furniture. I have three kids and my carpet was very dirty. I was satisfied with the way my carpet looked.

The workers at Stanley Steamer are very professional. They have great equipment and the quality of their work is great. I plan to keep on using their service.

Excellent. My daughter had the stomach flu the night before and we ended up with a huge stain on the carpet that I was unable to get out with numerous attempts (club soda, Resolve, organic carpet cleaner, handheld stain remover machine). Stanley Steamer sent a crew out that day and completely removed the stain. We are thrilled. (Note: I had called another carpet cleaner on Angie's List and they told me that the stain wouldn't come up and not to bother hiring anyone. Thankfully I mentioned this to a friend of mine who raved about Stanley Steamer and decided to ignore the initial advice).

Overall, it was fine. The men who performed the work showed up on time and were very professional. I would have given them an A, but many of the stains that were in our carpets are still there. The stains were large and quite old (we just moved into this house) so we didn't expect them all to come out; still, in many places, it looks just the same as it did before. Not quite sure how to be fair to this company, as they did warn us that the stains might not come out (pet stains that looked like they had not been cleaned up promptly when they were created). Other experiences with this provider have been excellent, and I will use them again (when we replace the old carpet!).

The three men were very professional. I was very satisfied. There was no time wasted.

It couldn't have gone better. They were on time, wore the booties over their shoes. One bathroom downstairs; two upstairs and they left no mess.
