Description of Work: A leaking gutter with a leaf guard presented a a problem for me. It was solved quickly and economically by Daniel from Case. We will call Case again in the spring to make repairs to rotted fascia and soffits at our house

Description of Work: I needed a window installed and a stormdoor hung. Everything went as planned, however stormdoor was hung inside/out. An attempt to remedy this turned out well:but it was still inside/out. Without hesitation a new door was obtained and installed. Problems do happen but Case, without question, solved it. They will be the first called with any future needs.

Description of Work: We were doing some remodeling in our master bathroom. The original bathroom fan installed was very inadequate in size and location for the space. We choose to install a bathroom fan in place of a ceiling light that was already there. We called another company to come and give us an estimate. That company came and said he would have to come back another time to look in the attic. He truly didn't know what he was doing. Then we called Case handyman. He knew exactly what needed to be done, sceduled it, came on time, very professional. It wasn't a big deal to them at all to install. The price seemed a little high but resonable in that he had to go through the attic and install a vent on the outside of the house as well, requiring a very high ladder. Overall, very pleased with the work and would definately use them again.

Description of Work: I had a litany of typical handyman items we just couldn't do ourselves, or didn't have the time. Case Rem. sent out Grant, and he took care of the list so quickly that I found a couple more things for him to do. I can't give enough praise to Grant, who worked very quickly, and handled a potpourri of things, easily. He's a wizard with the caulking gun, and that is no small thing! He fixed the bolts on a toilet seat, re-screwed a shower door handle, replaced a couple of small tiles (which fell off many years ago) on a bathroom wall, got a towel bar to stay ON, which I had tried a bazillion times, replaced a toilet handle, replaced some molding that fell from the top of a cathedral ceiling, and while there, caulked some where our ceiling tape had come loose after 28 years. Then he caulked several other seams that have been gaping for years. I used the Big Deal from Angie's List and it was a real bargain for me. I just wish my other Big Deal had been such a success. Description of Work: Repaired 4 exterior doors....at the base....bondo, sanded and primed for painting. I have used Case for a number of projects, and have always been pleased with the results. We always ask for Daniel because we have gotten to know him, like him and trust his work. Prices are fair and reasonable compared to other companies we have used.

Description of Work: Repaired my ceiling and roof where a limb had fallen through.

Description of Work: Case Handyman & Remodeling was one of a number of companies that we received an estimate from for one one or more of several remodeling projects on our home. The estimates were at least double (twice as expensive) as all of the others. When I asked for a breakdown of materials and labor, I never received a response. I still have not heard back, and this was over a month ago.

Description of Work: They installed counter tops, installed storm doors and a whole list of other major projects. They completed my to-do list and did a wonderful job.

Description of Work: Although we did not hire this company, we felt strongly that we would have been happy with the outcome. Craig, our salesperson, knows his materials and asked all the right questions and listened to our desires.

Description of Work: Fixed wood rot in dormers - also analyzed roof problem as requested. In major rot areas, replaced wood; in other areas used bondo to provide satisfactory repair. Sanded and painted areas of repair.

Description of Work: He built a railing from the garage to the house.

Description of Work: We had contacted Case via this site about getting a quote for some work on the house. The contact was very responsive and quick to get us scheduled for an estimate. We met with a very informative guy named Adam who gave us some good ideas and ballpark budgeting information for our project. At that time we decided to scale down the project and he would be in touch the next Thursday. We never heard from him again. It's been 3 weeks.

Description of Work: Came in, showed me a useless flip chart about the company, charged me $500 to have an engineer supposedly go through the crawlspace looking for dry rot. I received a two page low quality (fax) report from the engineer with no schematics or diagrams - nothing other than the words " dry rot throughout house." I paid $500 for nothing. The company project manager came in with his tales of doom and gloom, "yep, it's a goner, gonna have to rip out all of your floors, tub, cabinets, showers, basically your house will not be inhabitable while we're working (5-6 weeks). Very blas about the whole matter, with no options except to hand over our life's savings. Found a second opinion which was a very different story. Five professional people (plumber, pest control, cable, and our handyman) have been under our home, and not one mentioned seeing dry rot throughout. I know that it's there, but I have a hard time swallowing that our entire house has to be remodeled to correct the situation.
