I was very happy with Ron, my painting crew led by Danny and the job done. Ron kept in touch with email with updates, receiving my quote, asking if I had any questions. I felt like a valued customer and he followed through with all promises. Workers were professional and efficient. I would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to friends.

Ron and his team did a great job painting the interior of our house, as well as the exterior porch. We gathered many quotes as we needed our entire house, including molding, ceiling and trim painted. Not only was Queen City Painting's quote the least expensive, we felt like Ron was attentive to our questions and needs when visiting to review the project. We have several areas of our house that needed extra attention - the previous owners has used textured paint in several areas of the house. We reviewed the project with the team at the end of each day, and provided feedback on the progress. Ron was very responsive and wanted to make sure we were happy with the work. Ron and his team went above and beyond to ensure that everything looked great and we were happy with the finished product. They returned to the house for more days than expected to ensure that all areas were complete.

.It was an excellent experience. I had gotten several estimates; all were higher priced and requiring many days. Queen City completed my whole house in a day. I was amazed. They were very professional, and took great care and pride in their work. I can't recommend them higher! I will be contacting them to do my interior next :)

Ron's crew and their supervisor Danny did an excellent job. They were hardworking, very neat , cooperative and accomplished the job far more quickly than I expected. I have no negative comments what so ever. I have already recommended Queen City to several of my friends and neighbors. The owner, Ron MacMillan, is very professional and was very responsive to all of my requests and scheduling questions.

We had five respected painting companies submit quotes. They all were friendly and explained their process. Queen City Painting offered the best price. They had a team of 10 guys show up on time and did a great job finishing in time. We got a lot of compliments over the past few weeks and our neighbor across the street decided to hire Queen City as well.

The service was great! He came out to give an estimate immediately after calling; the crew showed up and were nothing but professional and did a great job. They cleaned up well! It was almost if no one had been inside the house. The paint looks great! We were so pleased.

We converted an unfinished attic space into an extra room and laundry room. Ron came the week before to give an estimate. He did point out some areas that the contractor needed to fix before paint. The guys came out applied primer, then sanded the surfaces. They then applied the finish color. Very pleased with the painters work. However there were several areas that had to be remudded and resanded by the contractor. Then the repainting was my responsibility, because the painters were contracted to paint a paint ready surface.

We had a week before closing on our new home to schedule multiple contractors for painting, shades, etc. This company's owner, Ron, responded quickly to come onsite and give us an estimate that was very reasonable. Knowing our time limitations, he scheduled the job for less than a week after our closing date. The painters arrived promptly, were courteous and extremely careful and thorough all day. We found only one small area that needed touch-up at the end. The workers coordinated their assigned areas so that they had no unproductive time and the job was completed more quickly than anticipated. The owner, Ron, followed up that evening to make sure we had no problems. Overall we were extremely pleased with the professionalism, promptness, quality and attention to detail by this company. We will certainly use them again and would recommend them to our friends and neighbors. We have owned seven homes over the past 42 years. This was the BEST painting contractor we have dealt with from all aspects, start to finish.

This is our second time using Queen City and we're very happy with the results. Ron was very responsive to all of our concerns and was super helpful in helping pick out colors. He knows his stuff and is very straightforward to deal with. Everyone was always on time and the foreman, Danny, was awesome. Given the amount of work we wanted done and some additions we made to the original scope, Ron went out of his way to bring in some extra crew members to help get the job done in one day. They had to put on more coats of paint than originally anticipated, but stayed until 10 PM on a Friday night to make sure the job was done correctly. Would highly recommend them.

While it was only one room, this was a tricky project. We added extensive moulding throughout our den (wall panels, pediments, doorway and window extensions, built in cabinetry, etc). We trusted the caulking and paint work to Ron and the gang, and as before, they did not disappoint. Another tricky task, a high luster finish in two colors, applied flawlessly. As always, the attention to detail is perfect (and I am a perfectionist). I first used Ron Mac and QCP to paint our exterior and interior when we first moved in. I will use them for all of my future projects in and out.

Ron and team completed both jobs, the condo common areas and my particular condo and far exceeded expectations. They are prompt, kind, detail oriented and did a fabulous job. We have more common areas that require painting and his team will be back. Highly recommend him for the price, quality and service.

We were tremendously happy with these guys. We had a very tight timeline and they came in and really knocked it out for us. They did a fantastic job on all the patchwork and prep work. The guys were great. Their crews were great. They cleaned up really well. Regarding the exterior, they were in and out of here in two and a half days. The house was incredible. They brought in a whole crew and just really got it done. They were really good and I really enjoyed working with Ron as well, so much so, that when we did the exterior, we found a house that we liked the paint color and he gladly knocked on the door and paint matched for us. They weren’t the cheapest but it was fair and also not the most expensive.

I have never had a more pleasant and professional experience with a home improvement company in my life. I generally am not the type to post reviews good or bad but the other day I got an email from Ron thanking me for my business and helping him grow his business. our project was done back in July so for him to think back to us when they are so busy was very kind and really professional. Our project was mostly inside painting but we also added a few things outside as they painted some of our windows that were chipping. Some windows also needed new glazing and caulking which they addressed plus they painted the large front paladian window in front.. We plan to replace the windows over the next couple of years but due to budget we need to do in phases so we wanted to protect what is there for now. Since they were already there painting inside Ron gave me a really cheap price to add the few windows outside. The main project was inside where they painted most of the walls, some closets, wood work and a few ceilings which had water stains on them. Ron gave some suggestions for closets to save me money and they turned out awesome. More durable and easier to clean and maintain. He also pointed out a few things that I never knew existed and made the repairs without charging me.. I definitely feel like their pricing and service was a great value and I probably would have paid more for the extras they did for me. The days of the job everyone was a few minutes early which was great. The forman/leader was here the entire time. The was no language barrier with anyone which was terrific and surprising! The owner and forman walked the project with me in the morning to confirm things we discussed and answered all questions that I had. The whole team work very hard and really fast. The clean up was thorough and detailed. I am actually embarrassed to say my floors were cleaner when they left then when they got there. I could not be happier and was just blown away with the professionalism they displayed from the top down. I would definitely use again and very highly recommend.

From the company owner, to the job team-lead/foreman, and the team doing the onsite work, everything went very well. They were communicative, responsive, efficient, and clean. I'd definitely use this company again and recommend them to others. No problems whatsoever.

Ron and his crew were great. I will be using them for all of my future painting projects. The quote wasn't the highest and wasn't the lowest, very fair and realistic. Scheduling was tight, showing that they know what they are doing and are booked out accordingly. Worth the wait!

It went great and they really go above and beyond! We have used queen city twice before and they have been great to work with every time. We now needed to paint the home that we just moved into, and we called them and Ron the owner came out and gave us a competitive quote. Ron was very easy to work with and was very responsive whenever we had questions. The day of the job, Danny, the paint crew leader came out and had me walk him through the home again to go over the areas that were being painted. He was very friendly, and I was able to speak with him throughout the day to see how the job was progressing. Ron the owner also came out a few times that day to check up on the work. They finished the job in one day since they had a large crew, and everything looks great. Not less then a week later I accidentally knocked some pictures off the wall causing damage to the new paint job. On top of that, I used magic eraser ( a big no no I came to find out) and took paint off the wall as well. I called queen city to see how I could fix the mishap, and Ron offered to come out to do the touch up himself while he was in the area the following week. I didn't expect that since it was my mistake, but it speaks so well of a company when they offer to do that.

Queen City was great!! They were very accomadating to all my requests and needs. My new house is a 1960's brick ranch and their paint job brought it back to life. I've never worked with nicer people and their paint job was beyond professional - it was outstanding!!!

I can't believe this company has such good reviews. The finishing on many walls was pretty bad. I can see the paint underneath, it is clear they only did one layer of paint and used the brush carelessly. I spoke to Ron complaining about the service and he did not want to come and see the mess. He asked me to take pictures and send it to him. The paint they used for the deck was not good at all. After a year of the service the paint is washing away, I told him I wanted something more protective for the wood. I bought the paint myself and I am sure I will do the job much better. Last, when I entered my home while they were working I saw one of his guys sleeping and snoring on the carpet of one of my beedrooms! I would not recommend them at all!

Our house was built in the 1970's and we had terribly outdated, old, textured-vinyl wallpaper that was hideous. It was torn in spots, there were holes in the walls and there were stains on the ceiling from previous water damage from a leaky roof. As the wallpaper had been glued directly to the wallboard, I knew that removing the wallpaper would be way over our budget. Ron answered my request for an estimate immediately and was right on time for the scheduled appointment. After reviewing all the work to be done, he warned me of all the pitfalls of painting over wallpaper ... and textured wallpaper, in particular. He said he really couldn't guarantee the work. I didn't care! I definitely wanted to go ahead with it. Danny and the crew arrived right on time on the scheduled day. They prepped everything perfectly!!! Then, they got to work. These were the hardest-working people I have ever seen! They repaired all the holes and nail pops in the walls, cut out the seams of the wallpaper, evened it out with "mud," primed, then painted. Although only door fronts were given in my quote, they generously painted the back of the louvered linen-closet door at no extra cost. When they were all finished, they cleaned everything up, then Danny led my husband and me on a walk-through to make sure we were satisfied. WOW! It was incredible! It has made such a difference in this old house! Everything looks brighter and bigger! All the repairs are invisible! I cannot say enough good things about Queen City Painting! Ron, Danny and the entire crew were pleasant and professional from start to finish and did a fabulous job. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again!!

Ron was great through the whole process. He was easy to get a hold of. He showed up on time for the quote. He offered great solutions and suggestions to make the entire process better. He came back to me within two hours with a very good price. I would have used him 9/10 times. I ended up having a conflict and was unable to use him for this project. I would recommend him going forward

Excellent job painting our 2-story foyer and hallway! The crew showed up first thing in the morning, right on time. They were very friendly and professional. They filled all the holes and dings in the walls before starting and did a great job. You cannot see even a hint of where any holes use to be. They painted the trim and two coats on the walls. All of the work was completed in one day. We are very happy with the job they did and would definitely use them again in the future.

Ron's crew was professional, efficient, and completed the job in 1.5 days. The completed work was excellent with Ron checking the finished rooms meticulously looking where touch ups were needed. The head of his crew handled many men working on three tasks harmoniously. What should have been chaos was not! I especially appreciated Henri who finished up with the wall color on the second day. The quality of the ceiling finishes and the crown molding installation is amazing. I will be using Ron this fall to continue the rejuvenation of my early 1970s cape cod because of the exceptional quality and fair pricing. When discussing with Ron the fall project...I asked him to include the exterior front door, shutters and dentil molding under the gutters. To my surprise, Ron told me it was really unnecessary to paint the exterior trim....it had another good one or two years before the work needed to be done! That is the honesty and integrity you can expect from Ron and his organization.

Highly recommended! Ron looked things over soon after contact and gave me a quote the same day, which was reasonable for the work being performed. Danny, Arnold, and the crew arrived on time, were very professional, and did a great job. They work hard and ask questions if they're unsure about something. I'll also say they are fast! I will definitely use them again - probably soon for some interior painting I need done. Nothing is cheap these days, but one doesn't mind paying for quality work provided by a competent contractor and team with an eye on customer service. Well done, guys!
