They were very nice and they seemed very good. They pointed out things that needed to be done that really helped us. I felt there advise was good.

Terrific crew. Showed up on time, were courteous and proficient. Made a great suggestion of changing the paint color on the garage door from house to trim paint color. My favorite part was the walk around. After they were finished, the supervisor walked us around to see if there was anything not done to our satisfaction. Of course, everything was perfect!

It could not have been better. He was very professional and took the time to answer questions even though I would not be using him because we are moving out of the area.

Ron and his company may just be the best company I have ever hired. They are fast, the entire house in 3 days, percise, neat, and i cant praise them enough The quote was the quote. Inspected and checked, then checked again, and our house is in great shape They did the deck in the same fashion, and I just want to beam about how great everything looks. I cant wait for them to do next years exterior project for us. Ill never call another painting company as long as we are living here

I was very pleased with Queen City. The owner is very responsive and available at all times. The supervisor, Danny, was very professional, very nice, and detail oriented. The crew did a LOT of thoughtful things - for example, we have two small children - they tried to put all of the child proofing back in place (the safety plugs, etc.) They even found where we had stashed some of the mirrors and art and put them back in their places. And their prices were as good or better than quotes we had previously gotten and for very good quality paint. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Great job frm the start. Ron came and did the free estimate. Called me back a few days later to see what we were thinking. They pressure wadhed the house one day and came back the next and completely did everything on the house. They even came back 2 days later to repaint/change something we wanted to change on the front door.

I called to get an estimate for painting. The estimate was performed the next day and was very competitive. The owner was very helpful in suggestions on paint color. I scheduled for two weeks out. Two days before the painting was scheduled begin, I added to the project and decided to remove the textured ceilings. The owner was flexible and my originally scheduled date of service did not change. The painters came on time and were courteous and professional. They cleaned up the area and put all items back to their original locations. It was a fantastic experience.

These guys are fantastic. I called Ron for a quote in October and he was over within a day. He gave me a guaranteed price and it did not change, even after the painters discovered the popocorn to be more challenging than ever imagined. His men covered EVERYTHING - they taped off all open rooms, moved/covered my furniture, covered the facing of the fireplace so that nothing would get on it (this is a huge stone fireplace that runs all the way up to the ceiling ~ 30 ft). Ron put a lot of men on the job and they were so polite, on time (even came earlier one day at my request so I could make an appointment), they clean up everything, and worked late into the evening several days to get the job done. This was a challenging paint job (rough siding that had been whitewashed over an older stain, impossible baked on popcorn, 30ft ceilings) and they got the job done in a quick and professional manner. Ron is great to work with - I was completely undecided on the color for the walls and we did not want to buy multiple stain samples, so he arranged for us to get 4 free samples from Porter Paint to try them out. This was a huge help to let us "try before we buy." We were able to see the paint color in all different lights which is what you need when painting a room this large. Ron runs a professional company and you can trust all of his crew in your house. There was no hesitation to leave a key and I'm not someone who likes to do that. They clean up after themselves and leave the house in the best possible condition each night. They're aware of how messy it is (especially when removing popcorn and when sanding) and they do their best to contain the mess. Ron stops by on a daily basis and has a very open mind about any issues or concerns presented. I have had painters in the past who got the deal, then I never saw the original "salesman" again. This is Ron's company and he shows up, he always answers his phone calls and emails, and he does not take complete payment until you are satisfied. I've NEVER had a good experience with painters until now, and I've painted lots of houses inside and out. We will continue to use Queen City Painters and I highly recommed them

Called Ron to get a quote. He was very responsive. Came out to the house and walked through the potential job. He was thorough in his explanation and delivered a guaranteed quote before leaving. I had 2 other vendors come out to give me an estimate. Ron's was in the middle and I thought his company was professional and experienced enough to do the job. His crew came out the following week (the day before Christmas Eve) to do the work. They were able to knock it out in less than a day. The reason I would give my overall experience a "C" and not use them again is because 1) there were paint speckles and drips left throughout my house. Thirty minutes prior to finishing, they asked me to walk through with them and I didn't find too many issues; however, the next 3-4 days my wife and I found a ton of paint speckles and spots all over our floors, moldings, blinds, etc. We spent a lot of time cleaning that up. I do a lot of painting myself and expect to always have some general clean-up, but this was beyond that should be acceptable given what we paid for the job; 2) I found several cigarette butts in my yard (the workers smoked outside); and 3) Ron said the quality of the paint he used (Porter) was much better than Benjamin Moore and would more easily wipe off marks (we have two small children). He said to wait 3 days for the paint to properly dry before touching it. Six days later I brushed against one of the walls and it left a mark. My wife also had this happen. We're very disappointed and felt like we spent a lot of money for lackluster quality.

Ron came that morning and brought the crew. They were very professional and did a great job. They finished in a single day 8 rooms, 2.5 baths, a foyer, and stairway! I would recommend Queen's to anyone needing a painter.

They were very good. They quoted the job, it took longer than they thought and he didn't try to charge more money. He was very professional about it and finished the job so it was done properly.

We were referred to Ron and Queen City Painting by our neighbor. We stopped by after completion and their job turned out great. Definitely made us feel at ease seeing them in action and the results before contacting them to quote our job. We needed several rooms inside painted as well as our exterior trim. We called Queen City and am glad we did. It was a very positive experience. The owner was on site often keeping us constantly in the loop and updated. The foreman was very nice and helpful as was the entire crew. I was happy that there was no language barrier with anyone on the crew. They worked hard and kept the job site clean and orderly. They found some rotted wood outside that wasn't visible from the ground and they replaced it without charge. Our house never looked so good. We are super pleased with this company!!

I gathered a few quotes for the painting of my brick home. I chose Queen City because they were the most professional and they left me feeling that the job was going to be done the right way. This owner was the only one who wanted to use a masonry primer to help make the paint adhere better and to apply 2 coats after. Even with the extra work their price came in line with the others. I really enjoyed working with the owner. He found pictures of color combinations on his own and emailed them to me to aid in the decision making process. The project went smooth and easy. They did a great job and I will recommend to all Angieslist members!!

Great. I was surprised of how quick they were able to get the job done. No shortcuts, 2 coats of paint, all trim and they cleaned up after!

They are a very good company. The painting went very well. I would definitely recommend them. They cleaned up very well after they did all of the painting, and they did a very good job. They worked very fast. They painted six pretty good sized rooms in one day.

I was referred to Ron and Queen City by a colleague at CMS. The colleague raved about the work they did and the great price. They lived up to the accolades. Ron and crew were professional, trustworthy and meticulous. All of the work looks great and was done right the first time. In fact, they even replaced some brick molding around my windows for free because the previous painter did a poor job with the patchwork. Ron said if his name was on the job that the house was going to look great. I love it and will pass the Queen City name along.

We were very happy with the work that was done also. It had been a while since our house had been painted and we decided to change colors. Queen City pressure washed the house and did some minor repairs, then caulked and prepped for paint. We were very happy with the final product. The house looks great. I felt comfortable with the crew that came out and did the work. They were receptive to any concerns that I had about the work and addressed them, and also made sure they left the work area in the same condition that they found it. I would definitely use Queen City again and feel that I got more than my money's worth on the work that they did.

We are so glad that we chose Queen City Painters. They were the lowest bid by almost $2000.00. They were extremely professional and always on time. What we especially liked, (besides the price), was the extensive amount of prep work that they did before they even laid a brush on our home. After pressure washing, they scraped all the flaking paint, caulked everywhere, primed and painted. They even covered up all of our landscaping! We would definitely use them again and recommend without hesitation! Keep up the great work guys!
