He did a great job, was very professional & did as promised.

Ron responded immediately when I called to request an estimate. During the visit for the estimate, he had several great ideas on how best to install the wainscoting. Ron's team finished the entire job in just one day. We had a walk through at the end of the day and Ron called the following day to confirm that we were satisfied. We were absolutely thrilled with the results. The workers were professional, tidy and did a wonderful job. We will be using Queen City for all future painting projects.

I called Ron and he immediately called me back to schedule an estimate. Ron was knowledgeable and willing to answer all of my questions regarding the paint finishes and the process. The day of the job, Ron introduced me to Danny is project leader and they both walked through my home to confirm my colors and the rooms to paint. The crew was friendly, professional and very neat. Ron and Danny both kept me informed and wanted to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the process. We will definitely be utilizing Ron and his crew for any future projects. Awesome experience!

I had contacted about five A rated Angies List painting contractors for this project. Queen City was about in the middle price wise and seemed to be consistent with what I discussed with the others. I also was glad they used Sherwin Williams Super Paint which I've been happy with in the past. A crew of 11 showed up right on time and were very efficient. The on site manager Danny was there the whole time and very responsive. Overall I am happy with the results, the lines are pretty clean without overspray / drips on brick, roof, etc. The only reason I give a B is I feel like a better job could have been done on the prep work, at least as compared the process some competitors described. Many of the window sills were not thoroughly cleaned and have specks and so forth that were painted over, and other surfaces like the garage and front door and shutters were in pretty rough shape. Also, I was under the impression that the brick molds on windows would be fully replaced for the windows that the proposal indicated "replace". Some of the competitors mentioned that they do not take the shortcut of "notching" only the bottom corners with rot and their carpentry was priced accordingly. There was one additional window with two sills that was found with wood rot that caused the price to be higher than the original estimate, however worth noting that there were some other smaller items they found that they did for no additional charge.

I narrowed down my search to Queen City and 2 other painting contractors from Angies List based on their superior reviews. All 3 companies were excellently represented and very thorough in presenting their estimates. I went with Queen City because I felt very comfortable with Ron and they also offered the best price. Ron met with us several times re: paint selction etc and couldn't have been more helpful.On the day of the job we were introduced to Danny, the team supervisor who was quite visible throughout the day and kept the project moving efficiently on all the interior and exterior aspects of the job simultaneously.. (the pressure washing was done 2 days before the painting) At some point they must have had a crew of 13-14 and they worked smoothly without missteps of any kind. Bottom line was that the entire job, which included 2 coats was completed in one day.Their cleanup process was great and they took care of all the moving and replacing of all furniture. . As good as the interior and exterior painting was, I was really amazed at the transformation of our deck's appearance. We couldn't have been more pleased with Queen City's performance and it was by far the best painting experience we have encountered as homeowners..

The whole thing was done that day, 2 coats and all the clean up was spotless. I was dreading having my house painted because I didn't want the hassle of having guys at my home all week. They made it so easy. I will definitely be calling them again for the rest of the inside.

I hired Queen City Painting and I am glad I did. I have a small ranch home w/ extensive paint chipping and peeling. I knew I needed a company that would do the proper prep work and not simply paint over flaking paint. I looked at the reviews and got a few estimates. Queen City gave me the best price and even suggested using a specialty paint for my windows because it was extra thick and resilient to future cracking and peeling. The owner and his crew showed up on time, organized and ready to work. Danny the foreman was super helpful and kept me updated and happily explained things to me. The guys worked hard and appeared to really enjoy their jobs. The end result was perfection. I highly recommend Queen City Painting Company. This was by far the best experience I have ever had with a contractor of any kind!!

Their price was adequate. They were very nice. It looked great when they were done. I wish they would have replaced more of the siding. Some of the cracks have already opened up. I asked them to clean my windows, but they didn't. I would not use them again.

I received bids from several companies to paint the interior of our newly purchased home. Ron did a nice job of explaining the job to me and gave us a few suggestion on how to handle several rooms with difficult to remove wall paper. I went with Queen City Painting based on my discussions with Ron and his ability to meet my time line. He said he would have 13 guys come in and they would be able to finish the entire project in a day. I thought that would be a large chore. They brought in the whole crew and got to it quickly. The team worked well and completed the job in the time they said they would. In the end we did a walk thru and if there was any places we wanted touched up or maybe needed cleaned a little better. They did it quickly and without question. A good experience and would rehire if I need large scale painting again.

Couldn't be more pleased with the work done by Ron's crew. Did a great job of covering up/taping all the railings, siding, brick, sidewalks before spraying. Ron has good equipment to do the job.

Ron and Dan were great to work with. Everything was explained in detail and the estimate was the final price. The job was done with a crew of 13. It was finished in a day. The house looks great! They did an excellent job and I would recommend them and I will hire them again when needed

Was a little leary of an exterior paint estimate given by an individual who was pressure cleaning and doing trim painting in the neighborhood. Became even more concerned when he asked if he and his wife could just work in the afternoons and would he lower the estimate. Decided I had better check out Angie's List before proceeding and so happy that I did especially when I found Queen City Painters and saw their rating and read the multiple good reviews on jobs they had performed previously. Made the phone call and immediately heard back from Ron, the owner, who came the next day and provided me with a very thorough and very reasonable estimate. I was impressed with the seven (7) man crew who worked together efficiently and seemed to enjoy themselves doing the job. Start to finish never a problem. Everything cleaned up prior to their leaving and if I have to offer a complaint, the only one would be they left the fence gate open but the dog was too dumb to try to escape. I would highly recommend Queen City Painters to anyone who asks and will definitely use them again.

As you can see from my comments above I am very pleased with Queen City Painters and would highly recommend them.

Process was excellent - painting began at 8:30 AM and was completed by 6:00 PM.

There were no problems and things went exactly as described when we were given the estimate. Overall it was a good experience and would definitely use this company again.

Right away, my husband and I were SUPER impressed with Danny's leadership and committment to the job. He kept us informed, double checked things with us so we all were on the "same page," and he clearly knew his stuff. The crew obviously respected him, and they all were very personable and seemed happy with their employment (i.e. worked hard, smiled, sang, talked with me when I was outside, etc.). Ron made sure I was always informed. Our house looks amazing!! We are so pleased with the quality of the job and the speed with which it was completed. While we certainly had a hard time parting with our hard-earned money (and we are still recovering from two adoptions!), we are SO GLAD we went with this company and finally got our house updated inside and repaired and beautified outside. Clearly we HAD to make the carpentry repairs outside once the flooding started, but painting was something we held off on because of other expenses. Seeing the finished product and knowing we won't need it done again for years is a wonderful feeling. I highly recommend this company and urge you to just go for it and get your house painted!! :) P.S. I would rate them a 7 out of 10 for clean-up, as we are still finding lots of nails, siding pieces, etc. in our flower beds almost 2 months later. I understand that things get camoflauged in our mulch, but some of the stuff was very obvious and my husband and I cleaned up a lot after they left. But, it's nothing that bothered us too much, we just made sure it was cleaned up since we have kids and dogs.

Smooth. I contacted Ron because of the good reports in Angie's list. He was the first estimateso I wasn't sold at first. However, he gave me a referral-the neighbor 2 doors down. I checked out the work and it was craftsman-like. No overruns, overspray, drips, or anything, just a nice, neat job. Shortly after, I mentioned I was getting my house painted to a good friend, who offered that Queen City painted and that they were very satsified. The crew showed up at 7:30 am as promised and assembled quietly outside. Once the work started, they were very productive. It was obvious that the large crew was well orchestrated. The crew chief was on top of every detail and ensured a smooth operation. The house came out beautiful. Even after Ron was Paid and the job was complete, he promptly answered a few questions, even on Sunday. I feel that I got tremendousservice and great value.

Awesome. Ron was great - he provided a detailed quote and a good color recommendation that absolutely perfect. The crew arrived promptly and got right to work and kept going until they were done. They did an amazing job. Two areas need some retouching and Ron sent someone out right away to fix it. I wish all every contractor did as good a job as Queen City Painting. Thank you!!!

This job went great. Ron was flexible and fair when we made a couple of changes as the work began. He checked in with me on the progress and my satisfaction both during and after the job. The superintendent of the job, Danny, was terriffic to work with; he checked with me on several occasions to ask my preference on how to finish certain areas, kept me updated on the status of the work, inspected the job with me when it was complete, and saw to it that he left me with plenty of touch-up paint. He even picked up small pieces of paper and tape during the inspection that I didn't even notice. All the workers respected my property. The attention to detail was fantastic. This job exceeded my expectations not only because of the final appearance of my house, but because of how comfortable and friendly it was to deal with Ron and Danny. I will not hesitate to use QCP again.

Ron MacMillan, the owner, was very responsive to my situation that required the job to be done on short notice. A team of three painters arrived on time, worked diligently removing "popcorn" and removing a stain from the kitchen ceiling. The job included painting the entire kitchen ceiling and a large wall up to the vaulted ceiling. They were able to finish the job in one day. The process of removing popcorn makes a big dusty mess everywhere but they cleaned up as much as possible since the fine dust particles keep settling for a day or so. Everything went so smoothly and the results were great!

Excellent. Needed condo painted fast to allow in-laws to move into. . Ron's crew did the entire job in one day. We are very happy with work. Highly recommend.

The experience was outstanding from when Ron came out to give the estimate, he was on-time, professional, very knowledgeable and made suggestions that I hadn't even thought about. The day of the work, the crew arrived on-time and took much care in moving and protecting our floors and furniture. The job was beautiful and completed by 4pm the same day with good clean up. I had two colors in the family room and kitchen with alot of wood trim that was also done. Originally we were not going to have the chair rails done, but Ron called me and said they were going to proceed to do them due to matching the rest of the trim all at no extra charge. Without a doubt if you want a great painting job done with professionalism at a terrific price call Queen City. I will not hesitate to contact them for any future work.

Ron provided a very competetative quote for painting the exterior of our investment property. They began work immediately and utilized a great crew. As a matter of fact, every time I walked around the home inspecting their work, each of the workmen were singing. It was obvious they were enjoying their work. This was reflected in their workmanship as well. An amazing job with NO oversprays. They completed the extrior of my home by 4:00 pm the afternoon they began. Great Job! Great Staff! Great Work! Great Price! I am completely satisfied and HIGHLY recommend!

Ron was amazing! He was the first person to respond when I inquired with three companies for quotes. He came the next day for a quote and worked us in within a week! The crew were professional, thorough and we have yet to see a flaw in their work... We ended up getting two quotes just to compare and his quote was by far much better and we will definitely use their services for any future projects. Ron checked in twice with us during the work day to make sure we were satisfied with the progress! Fantastic experience.
