Description of Work: They Painted 3 rooms, walls, ceiling and trim, doors, plantation shutters + some repair work on door frame. They were prompt, arriving precisely when they said they would. The carefully covered everything being especially careful of the new floors in my kitchen. They completed the work in one day (8am - 5:30) then put everything back in place and cleaned up.

Description of Work: Ron had a team that painted by entire house in 1 day (1300 sq feet). There were a few spots that needed touch up after everything dried throughly. His folks came out and touched them up. I was happy with the quality of work.

Description of Work: Did a great job on my daughter's bedroom. We live in an older home with lots of old layers of paint. They knew what to do and did a great job. Will use them in the future.

Description of Work: I solicited quotes from several companies. Ron was first out and first to provide a comprehensive quote for interior paint, quite a bit of drywall repair and ceiling repair (water damage). He provided professional, well-appreciated comments and suggestions. He arrived the day of the job with the crew and we walked through everything. The crew and lead foreman were awesome - in and out in a day. Clean up was excellent. Highly recommend. Great value for $. Will have them back for more.

Description of Work: I received three quotes for painting 3 areas in my house and exterior shutters and front entryway. Ron was the only one who came with a paint deck and offered suggestions on colors. I didn't want to make an huge changes to the colors so he offered some good choices. I'm sure this was also done to provide me with a solid competitive price which I appreciated. While Ron was not the lowest price, his prior reviews and commitment to doing it all in one day is what made me choose him. They arrived at 8:30 and was finished by 3:30. The quality of the work was excellent, covering everything and taking care to even put my window treatments back when finished. Danny and Ron both walked job afterwards to make sure I was satisfied. Because they sand all the walls prior to painting, I did have a little bit of dusting up afterwards, but that is to be expected and a small price to pay to not have to do the painting yourself. I will absolutely use Queen City again.

Description of Work: Ron Macmillan came on time for free in- home estimate. The job was to involve painting most of my 3 floor level,1800 sq.foot condo, Although Ron did not measure any room, he carefully examined the one room I have that has peeling paint,and we discussed cause & proposed solutions. We agreed that extra sanding and prep work would be required, which would cost extra. I asked for an estimate that would list the cost of each floor's work separately. The next day I got his itemized estimate, as promised. Since the total cost of $7185 was double what another painting company's estimate, I declined the offer. However, in the future I will probably try to use this company, and here's why. The other painting company I chose kept delaying getting back with me, and after finally saying they'd call the next day to probably start work for me the following week, I heard nothing for several more days, then finally got an email saying "at the earliest" they could start the work was in 2 weeks.By that time I'd lost trust with them (it has already been 3 weeks since I'd told them I'd like them to do the work!) ,so I declined the offer. At this point I will be using someone who has helped me with a small painting project before, to just fix the room with the peeling paint, In the future I will reconsider using Queen City Painting for the rest of the condo,as their price (without the price of $3995 for the one room with peeling paint ) was around $3200.

Description of Work: I called Ron on a Monday night and he was able to give me a price over the phone. I had done my research and he and his company appeared to be top notch. I explained that I was in a time crunch and Ron was able to move some things around to get me in that week. His crew arrived on time, were professional and did an excellent job; in fact, I was so pleased that I had Ron come out the next day for estimate on my kitchen. Again, the crew was on time, professional and worked straight through (9-5) until the job was complete. I can not give enough stars to this company to express how pleased I was! I am just thrilled to have a painter this good to add to my list of quality home improvements. Now on to the exterior of the house...

Description of Work: Exterior of house painted; porch railings replaced; siding repairs.

Description of Work: I have a rental home that renters had trashed the walls/paint. There were holes and spackling needed everywhere. They came out and gave recomendation to spray the home. I was worried because I don't want the house to looked sprayed. They came out and did all walls and ceilings in neutral cover and it doesn't look sprayed at all. It was beautiful and they did all the trim. Everything looked brand new. When they were painting he had missed a ceiling in the quote and they did it for free with no extra charge. They left me any excess paint left to touch up moving forward. This was a great experience.

Description of Work: I had our exterior trim painted and several rooms painted inside as well. On the exterior trim they had filled in nail holes and repaired nail pops, as well as sanding any rough area's before painting. On the bedrooms that I had painted they had fixed my nail pops and cracks from the house settling. All above my expectations.
