Description of Work: I previously used them with an Angie’s List Big Deal, and since they did so well, I decided to use their services again! The last visit, they painted the entire interior of my home (including walls and trim, along with some drywall work/patching), before I put it up for sale.

+ 0 moreBought a discount coupon. He was able to put us in his schedule within a week of my call. He showed up later than expected but that was not a problem for us. Painted tour shutters and the front door. I asked for an estimate on some inside painting. Did not get a call back. Didn't need the job, didn't want to work for us again???? I don't know. I would think with the economy as bad as it is he would want the extra but maybe not.
Description of Work: Did a great job on the shutters and front door. Asked for some help with equipment, no big deal. Did not follow up on a request for an estimate for painting inside.

+ -1 moreKirk was hired to paint our shutters and front door. He did such a good job that we asked for a bid to paint the house trim. He and Kevin arrived on time and finished the work as scheduled. I am very pleased with the results.
Description of Work: Kirk and Kevin painted the exterior trim on our house. They also caulked the windows and cleaned the outside of the gutters at no extra charge. Kirk discovered signifacant water damage around the front door. He is an excellent carpenter as well as a painter. I paid additional to have it repaired but he did a very good job. Kirk is a perfectionist and a hord worker. I would recommend him for any painting job. The house looks great. We are planning on having our living room painted in the spring. I would not use anyone but Kirk to do the work.

+ 1 moreIt went very well. Kirk and a helper came and spent almost a week completing all of the work. They fixed nail pops and did a beautiful job. They were quiet, neat and very considerate. I'll definitely want Kirk to come back and paint again.
Description of Work: Kirk painted our two-story entry, stairway and upstairs hallway--walls and trim, including the ballisters along the stairway. He painted our two front rooms, including ceiling, walls and trim. He also (heroically) sanded off a ton of old Ralph Lauren sand paint in the downstairs powder room--all 4 walls!--removed some really tacking chair rail and crown molding in the bathroom and replaced the crown molding with molding he cut and installed himself. He also painted the ceiling in the powder room. (The crown molding previously installed looked like it was from a kit, with one-piece corners, and it wasn't very well aligned.) He also painted the window trim, which was worn down to bare wood in several places.

+ -1 moreThey did not do such a great job. The quote was low but he promised to spray the shelving that was custom made and paint each one with spray paint. He put paint on wet paint and this caused the paint to strip. He also put the shelves back in the wrong order.

+ -1 moreParagon did a great job in painting our bonus room. They arrived at the agreed upon time and completed the job in about 4 hours. Two weeks later, Kirk followed up to ensure the job met our and his satisfaction. During Kirk's return visit, he did a few touch ups. Please note, Kirk could barely walk due to an injury that he'd sustained while working earlier in the week. Nevertheless, my wife and I are very appreciative of hm returning to complete the touch ups. We intend to use Paragon for future painting jobs.
Description of Work: My wife and I hired Paragon Painting to paint our bonus room above our garage. The job requred Paragon to paint a 600 sq ft room. This included the walls, baseboards and ceiling. In addition, they patched holes in the ceiling that were previously being used for speakers.

+ -1 moreI called on Monday and Kurt came by that day and gave me an estimate on 2 rooms and a hallway. On Thursday, he arrived at about 10:00 am with another painter and they removed all the pictures from the walls, covered the furniture, put on 2 coats of paint, moved the furniture back in place and were gone by 4:00. They were friendly, prompt and did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

They repaired every single nail and anchor hole as they went and even did extra coats on the red that we picked out to make sure it was done right. We couldn't be more pleased with the job he did.

Walls looked fantastic and we could not be more pleased. We would definitely use Paragon Painting again for any interior or exterior painting in the future.

Kirk and his worker showed up on time and completed a room that had a lot of difficult surfaces (dark paneling and trim, plus masonry on one wall and built-ins on the other) in just under a day and a-half. Kirk gave advice on the type of paint to use, and the quality of the job is unbeatable. The room looks like a new addition!

He took the time to explain his process to me and even advised me on what type of paint would look best in my space. He was very personable and easy to work with; even understanding when I was still unsure of a paint color. He is a self proclaimed perfectionist and it certainly shows in his finished product. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a paint job and I would use him again when I need one.
