Description of Work: Painted entire house including ceilings. A lot of the expense was in changing all my windows, doors and trim from wood stained to white semi-gloss. They did a terrific job - looks great. I started off with a quote for just the walls and removing wallpaper in 2 rooms, and then added ceilings and trim. The job took longer than we expected due to one of his two crew being in an auto accident and not able to work. As badly as he needed the help, I appreciated the fact that he didn't pick up an unknown and bring him into my house to help paint. They had total access to my house during this time. I've asked for a quote on pressure washing my deck and house and staining the deck. I definitely recommend Kirk and his crew. They were totally proficient and professional and went the extra mile!

Description of Work: Repairs of several cracks, many nail head pops and 2 coats of paint to 2 story foyer, living room, kitchen, laundry room, upstairs, upstairs hallway, 1 full and 1 half bath and a downstairs hallway area. Ceilings in all rooms. All materials and labor included in the cost. (Trim not painted).

In our family room, the fireplace wall had bad construction and he had to repair that wall which had the high ceiling.

Description of Work: EXTERIOR TRIM WORK ON A THREE STORY CUSTOM BRICK HOME WITH 39 WINDOWS. THE HOME HAS EXTENSIVE ARCHITECTURAL MOLDINGS AND BAY WINDOWS THAT ARE ENTIRELY MADE OF WOOD. THE WOOD NEEDED REPLACING FROM ROT. HE HAD TO REBUILD AND CUSTOM MILL SOME BOARDS FOR THE HOUSE. THE HOUSE IS 10,000 SQUARE FEET AND HE HAD TO REBUILD A BAY WITH FLOOR TO CEILING WINDOWS. THE WOOD WAS ROTTEN BECAUSE PREVIOUS REPAIRS HAD NOT BEEN PRIMED CORRECTLY. KIRK PRIMES ALL SURFACES INCLUDING NON-EXPOSED SURFACES, SOMETHING THAT THE PREVIOUS PAINTERS WHO HAVE AN EXCELLENT REPUTATION DID NOT DO. HE DOES ALL OF THE WORK HIMSELF AND OR SUPERVISES THE HELPERS THAT HE USES DIRECTLY. HE DOESN'T JUST HIRE PEOPLE WHO COME WITHOUT HIM BEING ON THE JOB. HE CLEANS UP THE JOBSITE AND HAS INCREDIBLE ATTENTION TO DETAIL. I HAVE BEEN IN THIS HOUSE FOR 10 YEARS AND I CANNOT RECOMMEND HIM MORE HIGHLY. THERE IS NOT A DROP OF PAINT ON THE BRICK! HIS PRICE IS EXTREMELY FAIR. HIS WORK IS THE BEST!!!

Description of Work: WE HAD A THREE CAR GARAGE REDONE ENTIRELY ON THE INTERIOR INCLUDING REPAIR OF TERMITE DAMAGE. HE HAD TO RE-TAPE AND SCRAPE AN OLD SPRAYED CEILING. THE GARAGE HAD 3 LARGE DOUBLE FRENCH DOORS. HE ALSO PUT A TWO PART EPOXY ON THE FLOOR OF THE GARAGE. HE DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB ON THE RESTORATION OF THE GRIDS OF THE FRENCH DOORS. THEY WERE IN TERRIBLE CONDITION AND HE SANDED AND PRIMED EACH GRID. HIS WORK IS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. WE HAVE HAD THIS HOUSE PAINTED PRIOR TO THIS BY A COMPANY ON ANGIE'S LIST THAT DID NOT PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL WHICH RESULTED IN THE PROBLEMS THAT KIRK HELPED US TO FIX.
